So I came on to rant a bit about the new story chapter for Nu carnival. So if you haven't read it yet I won't spoil it. But omg! I hate cliff hangers but it was great!

Rin kidnapped Morvay for so long. Kept knocking him out cause he was noisy. Didn't like his complaining. But when asked why he kidnapped him and not someone smarter he is like no one else fell for it. So your aware your plan was dumb. But you went with it anyway. You stare at a mirror for days on end watching Eiden. You want to make sure he leaves and not goes to the dark zone. When your breaking more shit. He has to fix things. Then!!!

We learn he doesn't actually have essence on his own. He has to take it from the environment. You tell morvay to go try and lie. Bur get angry saying he's not loyal to eiden for lying. Your contradicting your self!

Then we finally know where Huey has been this whole time!! He's in some kind of coma in a cave. What did Rin mean by calling Huey master? What is their connection? What is Eidens connection to Huey? Why does Rin call Eiden brother? But seriously is Huey actually a good person and just acted like a jerk cause he wanted to protect things?

Sorry for Rambling but I'm mind blown.

Often tucked away safely in his leather 'murse' (it's a satchel), he is always ready for every situation.. whether you need breath mints, a rubber band, band-aids... or condoms. "It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!" - A classic Huey catch phrase. He's got an outstanding record collection, all meticulously organised and on display next to his prized record player. There is an index and legend that marks the genre and spacing by colour coding and artist and album name, and he is immediately peeved if he notices it has been moved, touched, or worse; mishandled (usually by his brothers, who he's quick to forgive but it does get under his skin) Every night before bed, he writes a list of five things he's grateful for in a special journal, to keep himself centred. He knows he's the leader of his brothers and the ones they turn to, so journaling in general is very important to him, and expressing gratitude helps keep him anchored to his core beliefs no matter how crazy their adventures, shenanigans, or life may get. Would sell his soul for a good cheese pizza. Is an insomniac, often up late at night when he can't sleep, tinkering with various projects, working on homework, or even just dreaming wide awake about all of the exciting possibilities of his future. Is scared of leaving his brothers alone to chase what might be out there or on his heart. Is a hopeless romantic in every sense of the word.

NSFW Headcanon: Huey make naked Kafka rest against the bed board and command him to spread his legs. He does and Huey then tells Kafka to masturbate in front of him. Kafka became bashful about it but Huey convince him that if he does it, he'll get a big reward.

While rewatching ducktales, I realised that they looove foreshadowing, they do it all the time, sometimes they even give the whole plot of an episode in the very first scenes without the viewer noticing lol.

Anyway, I realised that they foreshadowed the whole “duke of making a mess” thing that Huey had in the sword of swanstantine episode!

THE THING IS, EVEN on my first watch, I could tell that this was supposed to be a multiple episode arc but they HAD to make it shorter because ducktales was getting cancelled and I’m PISSED. LIKE ALL OF MY FAVOURITE CARTOONS, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE.

DEWEY had his own arc where he’s trying to uncover his mom’s dissaperance with Webby. LOUIE had his own arc where he was struggling with his place in the family and HUEY. DIDN’T.

Ughhh they foreshadowed the Duke of making a mess in the intern episode and even in Scrooge’s birthday!!

Those are BOTH season 1 episodes (I’m not gonna list more foreshadowing because you get my point) SO THEY’VE BEEN BUILDING UP THIS ARC SINCE THE BEGINNING AND THEY DIDNT GET TO CASH IT INNNNN RAHHHHHH 🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️

When watching the ONE episode where he appears, you could IMMEDIATELY tell that it should’ve been a bigger deal. I mean come onnnn, they enter Huey’s mind scape and there’s a huge closed up door??? With locks??? DUUUDE THAT WOULD’VE BEEN AWESOMMMMEEE

I’m saying all of this but this is just to vent some frustration about how animation shows will just be cancelled without the chance to say all that they’ve wanted to say… and as the one who wants to hear it: *cries and wails and pees on the floor*

Ducktales was planning so many more seasons and only got 3, like every other great animation show nowadays i fear
