DNP Rewatch: Why I can't go back to the gym..

There was a whole month between this video and the last one. DNP were pretty active on Twitter still, including the “sad pimp” photo, Oscars party shenanigans (1, 2, 3) with Phil falling asleep, and pancake day. At some point in there, Dan was also dealing with “that week in March.” They may have also been trying to find a new apartment to rent around this time.

0:33 - there was much unsuccessful gym-joining for DNP over the years

0:34 - this sounds like exactly the type of thing Phil would do as a “reward” for himself for joining the gym

0:51 - I 100% am with Phil here. I do not like exercising too publicly

1:03 - they have so many wigs to choose from at this point

1:29 - I love the outfit breakdown, including the custom shoes he had designed a couple of years before this...they do not look like they had been used much

1:45 - part of Phil’s problem in this situation was definitely that he thought ‘Leon’ was hot...

5:04 - “the hunky personal trainer” loud Phil! also, still somehow holding it together to be polite even when feeling that bad

This story is so horrifying actually. I wish Phil would have stood up for himself sooner, but I get the social awkwardness of doing that, especially if the guy didn't seem to be listening. Dan was shocked at this incident and angry enough to talk about it in his live show too. Trust Phil to find the humor in it after the fact though. And to eventually get over it enough to get a personal trainer again (with Dan) to prepare for Interactive Introverts.

The day after this video, Phil hit 4 million subscribers on YouTube for the first time!
