#THIS IS SOMEHOW SADDER THAN SHYKA ENDING AAAAAAAA#and reiterating. he doesn't die because he has to . areelu stays alive.#it's mostly a matter of again- fear of consequence of betraying the council#(nobody tell him he could probably beat most of them all by sneezing at that point -he can't comprehend it)#and the notion that well. after a certain point in act 5 he's fully fey. meaning if he dies outside the first world it's game over#no pharasma- just oblivion#(from what i understand anyway)#avoiding consequences + a last bout of revenge against areelu by permadeleting any remnant of her kids soul in one#it just. i don't know. shyka ending has that wonderful sense of cosmic horror and what have you. it's fucked up in a variety of ways#but this here. he just felt scared and remorseful before he even walked into threshold.#he doesn't want to leave his friends behind. i’m not equipped to be busy all the time this is hell methinks
#i say getting into bed at 9pm#LISTEN I JUST STOPPED THOUGH!!!#i got home a few hours ago after getting up at SEVEN!!!! and made myself food and started trying to put my tv stand together and then i#didn’t have a screwdriver so i had to run and check the shop and they don’t have one so i had to come back and order one#and then i had to try and set up my tablet and see if it’s still reliably not working (yep💙) and then send an email to wacom support#I STILL HAVE SO MANY MORE EMAILS TO SENDDDD#i’ll do that…… on thursday#job applications… putting furniture together… finishing unpacking…. decorating my room……..#catching up on all my reading and prep work for my class on thursday……………#aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa#sorry i pictured trying to discuss a paper topic with my professor in my mind and it turned into me sobbing at her so i’m getting it#out here so that i DONT do that next week
