I'm an avid otome player and Kisaki's seiyuu (Showtaro Morikubo) is in a good handful of them (Hakuoki and Diabolik Lovers for example) and he's also a singer (he's on spotify!) so I consider that many wins. He's voiced a few popular characters too like Shikamaru Nara from Naruto! (Forgive me for filling your inbox with my love for Kisaki LOL I have so much knowledge and cannot contain it)

Ohhh I didn't know he voiced that many characters, that's cool! I remember finding put about the singing thing a while ago, it's a crime he doesn't have a character song yet!

She hears him calling her name as she flees down the spiral staircase, almost tripping over her feet in her rush to get away from him, but he catches up quickly, reaching out to grab her arm in an attempt to slow her down. She stops running immediately - she supposes her traitorous body wants to see what he has to say, or maybe it just wants to bask in his intoxicating proximity. He crowds her space, and she sees that unfamiliar look in his eyes again. So very different from the cold disdain she had seen the last time she had been this close to him, during the argument that had ended their friendship.

Oh, Merlin, he's getting closer to her, and she can now clearly see the freckles dusting his cheeks and nose and forehead and then before she knows it, his hand is sliding up her arm, leaving goosebumps everywhere he touches and then he's caressing her jaw with his rough thumb and he pauses. Her eyelids flutter closed as her head tilts towards him - she couldn't stop herself even if she wanted to (what does she want?). She can feel his warm breath ghosting over her lips and she has the improbable, ridiculous thought - how is he remembering to breathe? - before he speaks. His lips brush against hers with every soft word and a deep shiver runs through her body.

"I," she hears him say, his voice so, so low, "haven't been able to think since last week."

That's all she needs to hear, the brush of his bottom lip against hers all she needs to feel, to push her into closing what minuscule distance there is between them and then his lips are on hers and it's better than anything she's been imagining. His mouth is soft against hers, insistent, and her hands go up to grip the collar of his plaid jacket to make sure he doesn't go away or disappear on her.

Its all the Touhou "Dragons" time to shine

Its the Year Of The Dragon and the Touhou Dragon fanart has already started. It's really exciting to think the Dragon related Touhou girls are gonna get some more fan art this year and time to shine. Here's some pics of this year's star lineup.

something to be said about how mirko is the darkest skinned woman and the only one allowed to have muscles and fight like the guys (aka she doesn’t die of blood loss or get stabbed by three spikes and fall over) and she’s more aggressive and almost dehumanized at some points. all while still being sexualized. and something to be said about how rock lock is the only one actively opposing the heroes fighting with literal child soldiers and HE is portrayed as the one in the wrong. and also that costume is dastardly

really minor thing to be bothered by but I hate when people are like "this actor didn't know about/hadn't seen this before the scene, so that means it's their genuine reaction, they're not acting here!!!" bc like. there are obviously times where it's someone reacting to being, like, jumped out at or something so it's a completely involuntary response, but a majority of the time...they're still reacting in character. There's probably an element to their performance that is more genuine or informed by the reaction they're also personally having, but it's not like that automatically means they're breaking character and just responding 100% authentically as themselves. They might be giving a real-time response, but they're still doing that in character. It doesn't mean that's just how they personally are reacting to it.

I saw this video on Twitter yesterday and thought I'd share, because it has something really cool about Boothill that I had never noticed before: how he handles the recoil of his pistol!

The video isn't in English, but you can get the gist of it pretty well just by watching. There are three characters so far who use guns- Bronya, Topaz, and Boothill. Bronya and Topaz, both normal humans, will get knocked backwards by the recoil. It's not by very much, but it becomes pretty noticeable when you mash the basic attack button in the overworld map. It's enough to move them over the line on the floor in the video.

Boothill on the other hand- you can see him jolt from the recoil, but he isn't actually knocked back at all! The transcript of the video mentions this being due to his cyborg body and having a better center of gravity, which is really cool! I love seeing more concrete evidence of what he gained with the loss of his human body, and how it helps him in combat and his Hunt for revenge. It kinda makes you understand more why he went through with it, and why he considers it worth the heavy price he paid.

Yeah I agree, I don’t think trading any big players is smart. They are a good team, especially in the regular season. They are just missing something in playoffs. It sucks they haven’t found the answer, but I’m sure they will 😃

i mostly think the leafs org problem is that they buy into the whole 'grit is the most important' factor in the playoffs.. and for two years now, they've been extra gritty.. out hit opponents.. and still fallen short where it counts. i think something about the style of play just doesn't match the actual assets we have in our highly skilled offensive players, and i think it doesn't help that we have a lot of dmen who can't skate well or move pucks and create offense to save their lives. like yes, not getting pushed around is important and space disappears in the playoffs, but sometimes those are problems you can outskate? if you lean into the rush game... getting faster.... idk. panthers series last year and now this one are just proof that we need more goal scoring than anything else under the current approach. to me, it's not that someone like mitch just 'disappears,' it's that the way this team is being taught to handle the game isn't letting him thrive. we've only seen 2 coaches with all this talent so far, so i'd be curious to see a fresh look, but i don't by any means hate sheldon or think he's done a bad job. something about it just hasnt translated to the playoffs, and it's tough to see glimpses of fun hockey that we see more often in the regular season under the mess of tight and gritty playoff games. i don't buy that it HAS to be that way... i watch teams like the oilers and stars and vegas and like. they're fast and efficient and opportunistic, lol. better than us but we HAVE the talent to be like that.
