was thinking abt how anya sleeps by the polle statue. which is motion activated to start talking.

#now originally i drew this under the same kind of premise as the animatic i did #in that it Is in reality just a statue but is. subconsciously treated as alive and as it’s cartoon self? if that makes sense #but i was thinking abt what if polle Was alive. a toon put on the tulpar as a shitty morale boosting animal that Isn’t you friend #but i worry this would change too much abt the story. i wouldn’t want to add too much levity/fluff #mouthwashing #the art gallery #polle being a toon instead of a statue kinda cheapens it’s effect probably #like i think it worked In The Little Bit like in the animatic. but not through the whole game #plus also it’d probably really muddy his like. symbolism. of like thr company and the baby #so i do have a couple more doodles but (shrugs worriedly)

Climbing and stuff #cause dunmer and altmer etc. have straight nails. they can hit the nail salon

Sometimes I'd like to think one of Vasco's favorite horses was a white horse the was defensive and skittish because it reminded him of Machete.

Naturally very few would find the horse to be of value, so Vasco would have to justify it staying.

Basically, in those long stretches of time when they don't see each other, while Machete is being sad and catholic, Vasco is having a whole horse girl movie in the background.

I had to sit down and stare off into the distance for a while, longingly imagining Vasco's adventures as a horse girl movie protagonist.

I am just so fundamentally uninterested in the story where Jason is in the wrong and needs to Gain Perspective or whatever. God what a snore. What an absolute waste of my time.

#sigh obligatory disclaimer: I am not pro death penalty #I am pro authority figures actually enforcing safety rather than prioritizing the comfort of abusers and the status quo #the difference between Jason and the likes of Punisher or Huntress is that he positions himself as another criminal #he is aware of what heroes are symbolically and he doesn’t want to mess that up #so when he kills you the message he sends is not that it happened because you deserved it #but that it happened because you broke the rules #and obviously this is problematic #but also this man lives in a world only superficially more civilized than a frontier zone #or idk maybe it’s just Gotham which is so fucked up #Jason cooled off as soon as he exited the city so eh #anyways desperate people will do desperate thing and moralizing at them makes you a smarmy fuck #jason todd
