dollmakers of tumblr, how do yall repaint the doll’s head without getting the paint in the follicles? i had to restart the one i was making bc of the paint causing cracks when i tried clearing it or applied any pressure on the head after it was dried and sprayed with mr super clear. also im working with apple barrel acrylic on a gen 3 monster high

#asks#anon#Je Souhaite#S7#xf meta#thanks for droppin in¬#really is a great stopping off point#that I've learned to truly appreciate the more I've gotten into the weeds of Season 8/9 bts#to me canon ends in Existence (while skimming largely over it and Essence)#BUT there's a quality to Je Souhaite's ending that is pretty great#the mytharc is complete#Mulder and Scully have reached “enlightenment” and closure#they're together#and they've found a space in their lives where they can be two normal people who sit on the couch and watch movies#it's the last great shift-- to me#Mulder's incremental journey towards becoming more “human” and attached to this mortal coil#Scully's incremental journey to trust and belief in herself (and to not feel inferior in her instincts/observations compared to her science#it's a great moment#the cherry on top of what she's already realized#and Vince does a great job of showcasing Scully at ease in these areas (i.e. more “normal” Saturdays with ice cream/popcorn/movies)#than Mulder#and that she recognizes this and probes him for a reason (like she did in The Unnatural and Amor Fati etc.)#and Mulder just feeling it was Right#like Millennium (and The Unnatural)#and Scully just getting it#ANYWAY#gotta get to that soon#all meta production is on pause because I'm taking a mini break#but will be back soon¬

the inherent obsessive urge to list everything + over 10,000 species of birds + nearly thirty years of not having a way to document what I've seen + history of traveling to a total of twelve countries over the course of my life, many of them for biological research/educational purposes = seriously considering googling 'list of birds' and just going through it until I think I've got them all

#this post is about the kh character popularity poll...#i skimmed through it just to see the results and intended to listen to the commentary later but. i dont think i can man#i caught the entirety of skuld's section... yeagh#i stopped joining the streams ages ago bc of how constantly lexaeus and vexen were used as the butt of jokes about bad/unlikable charas#and it was starting to bug me but like. that's lexaeus. no one has good takes about him because no one reads the supplemental material-#that being the character file and the days secret report- where 60% of his personality “depth” comes from#people with bad takes on him are a compromise I can make. but do not slander the good name of skuld or union cross#okay to be fair he mostly just said she has no personality and is easily replaceable but the joke of saying her name and then skipping to#the next person on the list and then going back saying “alright fine I'll talk about skuld” didn't feel great#HER PERSONALITY SECTION ON KHWIKI IS EMPTY BECAUSE NO ONE EDITING IT KNOWS KHUX CHARACTERS!!! my telekinesis throws everything aroundtheroo#pretty sure this was his take about most mobile game characters. i probably like them so much because theres something in the water here#zero understanding about why anyone voted for baldr... this also happened with data sora#anway it's 1:30 in the morning#appreciation for serious characters who bring hardworking vibes to the table that everyone calls boring. putting axel in a glue trap.#goodnight#bluejay chirpin
