I think Niko should come back from her trip to the snowy spirit realm or wherever she is with the ability to turn into a polar bear because of the bear luck charm (And then she helps Tragic Mick turn into a walrus again because you never know when the good you do comes around)
But mostly I just think it would be very good for everyone to get into trouble and Niko to be dressed in her amazing adorable outfits and underestimated by everybody and then suddenly there's a fuck off big giant bear there instead

Y'all, I've had an amazing thought.
I said a while back that the Medicine Seller's alter could be a manifestation of his connection with humans, since his alter is the form that destroys the mononoke, and that power to destroy depends on the Medicine Seller understanding humans.
And as I said in my analysis of Mononoke and feminism, the Medicine Seller's relations with humans occur along a "masculine" to "feminine" axis that's represented by male and female forms, the female/feminine as the creative energy and the male/masculine as the aggressive/destructive. The Medicine Seller's forms mirror the humans'; his usual form is more feminine and his "destroyer" form is more masculine.
But we have every reason to believe that in the movie, the Medicine Seller will be surrounded mostly by women. And instead of the het relationships that are central to almost all of the Mononoke stories, there's (I say) a fair amount of evidence that we'll have a lesbian relationship. So, two sets of "masculine" and "feminine" energies, but both in female forms, no external differentiation.
And if that's true, and the Medicine Seller's alter is male because he mirrors how the "destructive" energy appears around him...
... it's quite possible his new alter form will be a woman.

i often say I hate grad school and in many ways I do. I get paid under 50k in a major city in a housing crisis, despite being in a union its impossible to cap my hours or get overtime even for 70+ hour weeks, and all my notes and anything I make or discover is owned by the “university” which is really just a real estate portfolio that keeps nonprofit status by sometimes having classes inside its assets. Never mind actually I started this post with genuine excitement about learning in my heart but then I remembered

This book I got to scan for otherkin talks about quantum physics-based magic. I literally cannot escape quantum physics-based magic systems. Can Guilty Gear just like give me a moment, ok, for getting me consistently into this mess. I need to throttle Dr. Paradigm. My brain is getting so wrinkled from having to learn about quantum theory and particle theory and Planck's Constant and Heisenberg's Principle and Bohr models... At least it's in English this time. I GUESS.

….. I have no words. Maybe you do? https://twitter.com/ign/status/1663742344066134021?s=46&t=vuUX2OT_2Xw3zZCaC2W1Pw
(for context to people they sent me a link to a Aztec RPG game where you fight Conquistadors, here's the trailer.)
FUCK YEAH. THese guys keep promising me an Indigenous RPG game. First they made a Plains Indian where you could live on the PLAINS as plains life. And nothing ever came of that. So they better give me this. I got nothing but respect for the Aztec people especially with all the drama with their warring leaders.
again tho with all due respect and absolutely not angry and loving these anons, why is this worded like a bad thing ...?
You can't tell me it's cause 'oh the people died tho!' when there's literally games like Plague Tale that literally starts as you being children watching your family die and the realism of how you're adults back then at 12 and 16 that has you walk into cities where THOUSANDS OF CORPSES ARE ALL OVER THE STREETS PLAYING AS SAID CHILDREN. Or just - all sorts of games set in Europe around the topic of dead and dying and whole cultures being burned down. You can't tell me that it's bad now just cause it's going into a POV of some meso-american indigenous people.

I can understand having a preference for one type of pet over another, for a wide variety of reasons (e.g. allergies, what goes in to taking care of them, your lifestyle, etc) but I'll never understand people who hate a certain type of pet. Like self-professed cat people who say they hate dogs, or vice versa. I've had dogs my entire life, and I consider myself a dog person, but I do like cats, too. Why wouldn't I? They're soft and cute and do funny things sometimes. Even when it comes to pets that I don't find as interesting, like fish, I don't hate them. And even ones I'm legitimately scared of, like tarantulas . . . again, I don't hate them, I'm just afraid of them, just like I'm afraid of all arachnids. It's an irrational fear, but it's one deeply ingrained in me nonetheless.
Anyway.
I just don't understand when people are like "I hate cats" or "I hate dogs" . . . how can you hate an entire species of animal? Being allergic or afraid, okay, I can understand that. Even if I don't understand being afraid because you've been attacked before (I have been severely bitten by dogs and severely scratched up by cats), I'm afraid of arachnids even though I can't remember the last time I had a spider bite, so you know, fears are fears, you can't control them. But hate? I just don't understand it, man. Hate an individual animal, sure. Just like humans, individual dogs or cats can have bad temperaments and behaviors. But a whole species? When most of the individual animals in those species are so easily befriended? It just makes no sense to me. Again, I get having a preference for one pet over another, especially if the needs of one animal suit your lifestyle while the needs of another don't. But to hate a whole species . . . I will never understand.

The "playing along with Ortea's HG theories" path is intriguing to me. Ruby is my Sidestep who I think could go the distance re: not revealing a thing (or more likely so I can have someone in my pocket for the late game reveals), so I'm considering having that also as one of his lil side paths? He's also gunning for the regenerator so ??? it's possible he might swing it
