Caved and made an outfit redesign for Princess Daisy. Wanted to give her something tomboyish, but still princessy and floral.

#Princess Daisy #Super Mario Bros #Super Mario Brothers #Since the Birabuto Kingdom is what most people think of when they think of Sarasaland I leaned toward something somewhat desert-themed #but nothing too flashy that would look out of place outside of a desert biome #except maybe in a snowy biome... but Sarasaland doesn't have any snow. It's a warm continent with a lot of maritime trading #at least from what I've gathered from the little Nintendo gives us

Still always looking for ways to use this cardigan in things because I really like all the silly little pictures on it, but it doesn't match with much since it's such a bright pinky kind of color. but is similar to these very fluffy shoes lol

I think Ive had them for like 12 years lol #Many of the stones have fallen off and been glued back on #self #oh if only I weren't the most hot natured person on the planet.. so I could actually wear such heavy coat things outside #I mean in daily life I am indeed layered head to toe even in the summer but like.. light layers.#I could NEVER wear a thick sweater or knit cardigan or etc. in daily activities. even in the middle of winter #It can be like 25F outside I will still start sweating if I have too heavy of a coat on.#I don't like being touched without clear notification and permission (no spontanous hugs or etc) since #I just dont like the sudden sensory jarringness of unexpectdly having someone in my personal space and etc #so I really don't make contact with others often at all even people I live with or etc #But occasionally with a close friend or family member our hands might touch for some reason (handing them something. comparing #hand size or color. etc.) and people are ALWAYS like 'wow oh my god why are you so hot?' or like 'oh your hand is so freakishly warm'#lol.. It is I.. the wizard with blood of fire... sadly cursed to never wear cool little cardigans and knit things..#also this is the primary root of my hatred for summer. Putting me in any environmnet over like 65F degrees is like... impossible for me #to stay cool.. .. wintertime my beloved... global warming my BELOATHED

Wanted to show this cute little swallow-tailed moth that flew into my room a couple nights ago!

i swear my stepdad is so illogical AND stubborn it hurts

#okay so strap in coz this is a wild ride #tl;dr we have been without heat and warm water for years and i mean literal years #because he refuses to pay off some debt he built up with the company #because he feels unfairly treated (let's not get into this. it absolutely makes no sense) by the company #so instead of doing the logical step of growing some balls and admitting he made a mistake and paying off his shit #he's been looking for a new supplier all over but the deal IS #that he's been doing this with a couple of places before and people are hesitant to even make him any offers #and you'd think that learning about THAT at least now he'd be like. idk willing to just pay off his debt and be done with it #but you'd be WRONG #now he's looking to just have our entire heating system replaced for the teeny tiny price of 25000 bucks #mind you his debt isn't even a THIRD of that #and obviously he can't afford those 25000 bucks #so what's his next step now you might wonder?#well good thing you asked. his next step is going off on ME for not paying towards the new heating he wants #and now that that's not working for him guess what he did next?#that's right. he bought shit expensive 'space heaters' that are pretty much just small little boxes that you plug into an outlet #and he swears up and down that they're going to heat up our house (it's negative degrees outside)#(it's obviously not working)#and genuinely. all i can think of is how much money he shoved into trying to macgyver this house into a house with warm water and heating #and how he blew off ten thousands of bucks he got paid when he retired within the span of two weeks #when this debt could have been paid off ten times over by now #so now you might be thinking. okay tiago. why don't you move out #good question you see. my mom is disabled and reliant on someone who cares for her #something that he can't won't and shouldn't do because the last time he sorta kinda tried she almost died and we had to call an ambulance #she wouldn't eat a thing if i weren't there to cook. the house would fall into disrepair if i wouldn't do maintenance all around #i've set up (functioning) heat in some areas she occupies and i've gotten a boiler going so she at least has warm water #i'm paying off their bills to make sure he doesn't skip on paying any others. i'm buying groceries for them because again they wouldn't get #any for themselves #and finally. i've offered to pay off his debt so that we can finally live like normal fucking people do #and guess what. guess WHAT. he just got mad at me for not adding money to that 25000 bucks pool for that new fancy heating he wants

More warmup painting exercises with acrylic inks, featuring some gen 2 fire types. Magby is just such a cute little goober, and I wanted to have some fun with adding lava textures to Magcargo and Slugma. It's still a tricky substance to paint but I think I'm getting there!

I think my canvas work jacket is genuinely one of the most precious items of clothing I own and when it gives out in another decade or whatever I'm going to have to hold a funeral. debating buying another of the same exact kind just so I'll have one if they stop making them.

#said this before but i think a good warm canvas work jacket is one of the best investments u can make if ur outside in the elements a lot #even if i just have my jacket and not my rainshell it takes being out in heavy rain for 3+ hours before it even becomes any kid of issue #just got back from being out on the beach on the rain for 3 hours nd my jacket is already as dry as if i never left the damn house #north face could NEVER #anyway every butch has their specific Type of Clothing Item that means the most to them #and when i was in middle school my dad bought me a canvas workwear barn coat #and it was such an affirming gift to little tomboy me that it left a permanent imprint on my brain

Disassembly drones probably not - Liam said they run super hot anyway and are more at risk of overheating than anything (yes he dropped the overheating plot point for now but we all collectively ignore that I think) but like? Workers? Like I know this is a HUGE difference but like I know phones shut down when it's too cold (idk about laptops, probably though), and they can overheat, so... think they can be cold?
