(Should I explain?

While any lion-like pokemon might have worked for Leona, especially Solgaleo which would totally be his Legendary, Hippowdon suits Leona the best. Not only do hippopotamus come from the savanna, this pokemon uses sand and it would totally match Leona's yawns and sleepy vibes. Plus they share the same colors.

For Jamil I hesitated a bunch. He fits psychic, fire and fighting types, any serpent-like pokemon also works. I hesitated a moment with Gallade, Hypnos, and Ceruledge. In the end I chose (mega) Medicham who is psychic/fighting, and is able to foresee her opponents' attacks. Plus the pokedex says she often looks like she's dancing when she avoids attacks.

And finally for Vil, while I wanted a poison type at first, I simply could not not give him a Tsareena. The VIBES! Also in french she's called Sucreine and Vil is a Reine so I stand by that choice.)

I thought I was being funny when I told myself to draw pkmn who wear some sort of boots, but then I started drawing Ceruledge, and I started crying 🤣

All I'm saying is:

Is it weird that those human/Pokemon relationships were even a thing that got leaked? Yes. But if it was Lopunny, Gardevoir, and Tsareena in the Pokemon leaks instead of Typhlosion, Octillery, and Slaking, NONE of y'all would be looking at Game Freak the way you are.
