Love the idea of the Batfamily showing a serious, united front whenever they’re working with the Justice League (i.e., obeying Bruce’s orders without question or defaulting to Dick’s authority, following Bruce’s comm protocol, upholding expected field etiquette, coordinating with one another with terrifying efficiency, and generally just not fucking around), but then the minute they get back to the Cave they immediately start to throw hands over who gets to use the PS5.

The problems you argue about get bigger and more serious.#You still hold so much love for this person despite how much you want to throw hands with them.#To have such a complicated history with someone and then fall apart...You always think you have time to heal the wound.#Why wouldn't you! You've never had anything but time with this person. A brother not in blood but in true and genuine bond.#And then the fucker dies! It's horrible and sudden and the last words you exchanged were cold and awful!#What do you do with those dead end feelings? What do you do but grieve bitterly and angrily?#There is no resolution for all the love you wanted back. There will never be an opportunity to bridge the gap between you.#Someone you loved died thinking you hated them. Since book 7 part 5 (the part where we meet Meleanor/Maleanor 👀) is coming to EN this month, i would love to see your take on lilia’s proposal to meleanor! i mean they were like little kids right? it couldn’t have been that serious…i think the only reason she even brought it up again is because she could tell lilia still genuinely loved her…(even if he didn’t realize it himself?) but, oh well! I had to color this in because I loved this idea too much. Scootaloo gets some help from Spitfire and learns an important lesson about strategy and playing the long game.

yknowwww there is something... deeply uncomfortable about the way mel never speaks directly to viktor in the 'build hextech weapons' scene. she really only speaks to jayce. plenty of people have pointed this out already but like the one scene they actually share a meaningful interaction and she treats him like he's beneath her. all this after jayce has emphasized how important viktor is, that hextech is theirs, together. she unequivocally ices him out, there's no other way to interpret this scene. the way it's shot too - from viktor's perspective, looking up at her, as though to reinforce the same belief in him. like he doesn't even bother expecting respect from her - or anyone from the upper echelon of piltover. he's fully accustomed to being dehumanized by everyone around him at this point. sometimes even by jayce, despite the trust they clearly have in each other.

then of course after this scene is viktor experimenting on himself. it's pretty clear that he has internalized his own dehumanization. crazy.

based on an idea @username8746489 had where sylvie discovered nightmare fuel for the first time on accident while getting bullied by some older kids (and pushing him further into social isolation now that he's known as "that scary kid who could summon someone's worst fear")

#♦️charlie's art #epithet erased #sylvester ashling #sylvie ashling #ok i have a lot to yap about here hold on #this was a challenge to make since i was imagining it with no dialogue and limited colors i hope i pulled it off #because of those two things something i had to think a lot about was how the color progression changes the mood #I wasn't originally gonna add that last panel with the aftermath but un suggested the idea of the bullies being vague shadowy figures #initially until sylvie realizes what he did and is forced to see that “that was a real person with their own fears and insecurities”#so then they're drawn more detailed #sylvie and the bullies also aren't in the same panels together until the last one because he's just so below them that he isnt worthy of #sharing equal space with them. these kids are highschoolers. if sylvie wants to look at them he'll always have to look up #and also because i was struggling with their height difference #i hope the second page doesn't make it look too much like sylvie summoned a fire 😭 it kinda helps with the mood but what he summoned is #supposed to be ambiguous and i dont want it to look like i was born yesterday and think nightmare fuel ONLY summone fire #but its hard to make it NOT look like fire when i can only work with orange #the lineart starts out clean and gets messier as the conflict progresses to represent a lack of control #and also it creates kind of a shakey/unstable effect which emphasizes sylvie's fear #also unintentional but i think the second page having detailed shading emphasizes the mood changes. this just got SERIOUS #oh also i used the mizu5 untrained as a color reference thats fun #ALSO SYLVIE DIDN'T KILL ANYONE im just realizing the one curled up in the last panel could be interpreted that way #that's not what i was going for #this might be unrealistic...... but we also know so little about sylvie's backstory that who's to say for sure IDK LET ME MAKE MY FAV SUFFER

This was my childhood.)

every single day i think about the influence touya would have had on shouto as an older brother.

he has to take him everywhere he goes, so they're always jamming to the same hardcore music in touya's shitty car. shouto, obviously, develops a taste for the same bands, same songs. shouto is also in the ride-along to buy cigarettes and beer at midnight, and touya threatens his whole entire life if he tells rei, but shouto would never because he likes going too much.

shouto 100% would attempt to kick the ass of anyone that talked shit to his brother. little string bean, doesn't matter, this little boy is throwing HANDS for touya, and touya very much has the attitude of "no one can fuck with my little brother but me". whenever shouto gets in trouble for doing something he shouldn't be doing, touya is always taking the fall for him, no questions asked. shouto lies for touya like it's second nature.

shouto wants an earring because of touya, and touya probably GIVES the piercing to him, which makes enji blow a gasket. touya learns to play the drums and then shouto wants to, too — though he ends up being better than touya and touya promptly quits after that. touya teaches him to drive. shouto gets drunk for the first time with touya BECAUSE touya wants to be there to take care of him. they hate each other, they get into fist fights all the time, rolling around the house as fuyumi screams at both of them. they're best friends. they understand each other more than anyone else ever could.

#they're partners in crime #they fight CONSTANTLY especially at home #shouto makes a face at touya and flips him off and it's SO TOUYA. like SUCH ATTITUDE #touya will sit next to rei at dinner all 'mom what the fuck is wrong with your shitty kid' and — he's scolded for cussing — but #rei is like. are you serious rn. he's exactly like you #which they both VEHEMENTLY DISAGREE WITH #touya pretends to throw up violently at the accusation and shouto twists his little face up like that's the worst thing he's ever heard #and then later they're both playing a video game together ajfbduskak #like they are such BROTHERS #natsuo is there too but i think he's so inbetween them both that he wants to be his own person #shouto is young enough to be influenced by EVERYTHING touya does #and touya is like 😒😒😒 you're so goddamn annoying 😒😒😒😒 are you coming with me to the store or what 😒😒😒😒#peeling my skin off i want this so much :)#screaming with my mouth closed :)#i dont even know what to tag this skgbsiakqk #✿ willow writes #✿ thoughts: dabi/touya
