i know that Jim Carrey has been very "maybe yes or maybe no, I'll never tell heehee" on whether or not he's gonna be in sonic 4. Personally, I think it would be awesome if he was in it, but only in flashback scenes w/stone to further explore their relationship pre sonic 1 or in like a hologram message to stone or something like that.

Will this happen? God no. This is the movie franchise about a blue space hedgehog and his freaky rainbow rodent friends. There is no way they would sacrifice the opportunity to bring Jim Carrey's Eggman back from wherever he is in order to explore the situationship he had with this random guy who only exist here and no where else.

However, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the obligatory dance sequence is between a supervillain stone and a hologram of robotnik from the first movie (like old security footage of him dancing). Preferably a slow dance, but I'll take what I can get.

that he never fired him because he didn't like him—he fired chase because he saw so much of himself in him: medical genius with more parental issues than he has friends, manipulative, desperately lonely.. that house knew chase was the duckling most at risk for falling down the same path of devastation that he had, and he couldn't let it continue. that when he sees that chase (and cameron) are still working at PPTH, but their relationship is stronger than ever and they seem genuinely *happy*, he's eager to let them back on the team (sorta), since they've obviously escaped the cycle...right...? imagine how devastating it must've been for house when chase and cameron split and he had to watch chase pick up the pieces like he'd done with stacy
