So I think I may have cracked the code. Listening to Clara Bow w this context in mind from the 4th, 9th, and 10th 🎃 messages makes the lyrics cut even deeper and explains the purpose of the anthology.

What Taylor is essentially saying is that above all else she is proud of her humanity. “Human. Human. Human.” “Flesh and blood.” Unlike some ppl in Hollywood like greedy big suits (cough SB^2 cough Big Machine cough) she’s managed to keep her humanity intact and didn’t let these negative experiences corrupt her or turn her bitter. She was able to find peace and courage in spite of it. And she’s saying I am abt to come out of the closet and while I am hopeful I’m also a little fearful. But isn’t that an amazing thing? Because being fearful, sad, furious, insecure, hopeful—these experiences are unique to humans! “Your heart beats red and hot and furious in your chest.”

“And most importantly, they will know about the human heart.” THIS is the purpose of the anthology. This is why she released 31 (13 backwards) songs for her fans to dissect and decode. Bc she wants them to understand that she’s not a god. She’s a flawed human just like the rest of us.

I think there’s a very good chance that THIS is what her movie is going to be about. Her journey out of the closet and all the hardship that came along w it and helping other ppl to understand the human heart. And I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a memoir that was released w it—“the professor said to write what you know.” And it makes sense too why the manuscript lyrics match perfectly w the all too well short film. Bc they’re talking abt the exact same thing!! She has a relationship w a much older man, experiences heartbreak, heals, and then writes abt it in a book—the story of us AKA the manuscript.

And this is why 🎃 kept referencing the story of us. I couldn't make sense of it a few months ago but now in hindsight it all makes perfect sense. Message in a bottle was probably a red tv vault track for this reason too. Bc the message in a bottle is the manuscript. The puzzle pieces really do all fall right into place.

Midam really went from a glaring, trite, cop-out-like, cousin-oliver-adjacent narrative choice (of which kripke was probably not the happiest about since he decided to title the episode where Adam makes his first appearance "Jump the Shark") to forgotten, mostly unmentioned characters (for all its stress about family and found family SPN sure made a statement about stepsiblings. BRRRR) so much so that in s11 we visually see the cage and they're not there and in s13-14 the show decided that we needed an alternate michael (LOOOOOL) and god forbid Adam Milligan is mentioned in front of Mary Winchester to finally settle to one of the most heart-breaking, mind-blowing, gut-wretching love stories I've ever watched. Supernatural at its BEST.

Could you rate the TADC characters and give your opinion on why you gave them that rating?

OH BOY ANOTHER RANT INCOMING

Alright, hands down favorite character 10/10 best design best voice best character, that goes to pomni. I am unbiased (LOL)

My true rating would be

1.) Pomni, I just feel so connected to her, I love her character and the complexity of the situation she’s in and how sometimes she’s just gotta roll with it and I love her for that

2.) Jax. This was a hard spot because Caine and Ragatha are both very awesome characters but something about that stupid fucking grin gives me the feels.

3.) Ragatha, her sweet tone mixed with her ragdolly body makes her the perfect comfort character. She’s got mysteries and pains she’s been through that she tries to not let bother her, and her protectiveness is so sweet

4.) Kinger actually takes over Caine in this tier list because of episode 3. We learned a lot more about both characters, but kinger has a lot of moments that sealed his spot. Firstly, his protectiveness despite his insanity makes him the most wholesome character. He is a dad at heart. Although he’s not useful in most cases, he’s strong when he’s able to show it. I love his arch and how we all basically knew he had a wife and she abstracted but damn when he held her and she was calm, I almost cried

5.) Caine. His design is 11/10, he is an amazing and hilariously unpredictable ringleader where he has no idea what the consequences could be, and the fact that he is AI is so interesting. I like the thought of where they can take his character, but I don’t wanna rank him too high because he could go completely south

6.) Gangle and Zooble both get this spot only because they seem like one note/background characters with flat arcs. BUT it doesn’t mean they’re bad character at all! I love their designs and they’re so creative! I wish there was more with them

I am so attached to cowboy AU Dr. Fizz but when I wrote him it was when his only source of content was the interview.

And he is soooo no-nonsense, rambly in that interview. It's so funny, I went hard with the deadpan humour. But then he comes back and I realise they were going more for nerdy loser instead of low energy doctor 😭
