the obvious drawback for comparison here is that i usually draw them more stylized than realistic and while i do have realistic busts for Most of them somewhere its mostly uncolored pencil drawings from high school so i went with the more recent headshots for uniformness

so which ai did a better job for each character!

gee v: im gonna say artflow since the colors are better and she looks Softer but neither rly look much like gee since ai art is allergic to young fat ppl

amarante v: artbreeder 100%. aside from the hairstyling artbreeder’s face here is actually pretty accurate. but also the artflow one is so incredibly off its barely a competition

vin v: artbreeder as well. the face is like spot on to how i imagine them looking. its like a casting photo to me. artflow has the Color down better but im owed $300 for them yassifying my blorbo

dax g: artbreeder but both are pretty off. artflow jst could not make a latino man without making him Aged. dax is twenty. artbreeder’s at least looks like a person but they dont rly read as dax to me much

zoey c: artbreeder 100%. i hate how badly artflow struggles w poc. artbreeder’s looks Close but i could not get her dreads to appear. her face is p close but i imagine her nose would be wider and her lips a little fuller

all in all both ais are incredibly frustrating to use bc of their unpredictability and especially as someone who can do realism at least somewhat. artflow’s is a very vague behind-the-curtain process, and artbreeder’s sliders are so impenetrable. what the fuck is -100% hat. the clothes sliders dont even add glasses or hats or makeup and the only sliders for features are gender, age, and race which is so unuseful like. why not jst have sliders for features on their own (skin color, nose width, jaw width, wrinkles, hair length, etc) that can be much more useful than jst an ai’s approximation of fucking racial sliders. like the problems here are fairly obvious from an ethical standpoint but also from a usability standpoint. either or.

I remember there was like- a lot in the show.

Like there was an episode where one of the bratty girls had to come to terms with the idea that her horse would have to be put down and she'd have to find a new horse.

Another time where one of the girls like fell off her horse and was scared to ride again, but it turned out that the main girl's horse was sick and like dying.

Another one was literally about an old cat dying.

There was a lot of death.

Perfect weather was an expected side effect of living on a god-controlled patch of land, but the perfect afternoon (concerning mindset more than percent humidity) was never a guarantee. Zoey was pretty sure she’d just had one though, as she crossed where the carnival spilled out onto the beach and took a picture of the sliver of moon that you could just make out where the sky bled purple into pink. She hurried after Griffin after her moment of pause- he’d been particularly patient with her photo taking today, probably since she’d taken most of them when they were waiting in line for something anyway, or when had been too dizzy to notice her taking pictures of him. They’d been looking for a secluded pier but settled for an unoccupied one, as half the people leaving the fair were doing so via beach as they were.

“Do you need me to light it?” She could already hear the strain in her voice from screaming on the rides, and cringed internally thinking about what smoking would do to exacerbate it, though not enough to make her rethink the decision. She was probably giddy enough from being turned upside down, but she was full of sugar and joy, and this only felt like a natural way to extend the night.

          They’d sensed that certain miasma of death long before they’d made their way up and wrapped a knuckle lightly on the apartment door. His sibling was death incarnate but her energy was far different than the decay that reached his senses now, raising a brow at the small creature that was apparently of the undead who now answered. “I was looking... for my sister,” they blink again; he’d chosen a life of solitude purposefully and yet his blessed sister who carried death in her hands was holed up with a roommate. It warranted this peculiar, albeit faint, smile of surprise to reach Roth, “So, who are you?”

❄️- Among the 3 factions of the Tekken force in Tekken 6, Nina's was probably on the smaller side compared to the other two, if only because she was the most strict of who she took in. Given her cynical views on most men, while there definitely were still a large number in her faction, hers likely lead in the percentage of women on the force. (Also unless somehow someday someone decides to write her & state otherwise, I absolutely headcanon the scrapped concept character "Zoey" was one of her soldiers - if you want her on your team you'll have to fight Nina, I don't make the rules) ❄️- Depressing af, but if you were to show Nina video of her from the first two tournaments or prior, she'd just... feel numb. She's almost completely disassociated herself from who she once was prior to her amnesia, the experiments and being brainwashed. She might not even use "I" observations. — Show her video of her from the third tournament and she wouldn't be able to sit through the whole thing. Not saying a word as she calmly just stands up and leaves the room. 😔 ❄️- Also kinda sad. But to dive deeper into my headcanon that Nina isn't typically a fan of sweets, it's not necessarily that if offered she wouldn't like them? It's more so Richard probably disapproved of them and most other joyful childish things like Santa Claus or amusement parks, etc. while she was growing up, and she still subconsciously carries that cynical negative impression with her. – I mean this is the same guy who had his child go through emotional suppression experiments along with rigorous training. While I'm sure there were few times when the two were allowed to be kids - they watched cartoons, they probably had toys - their childhood was very rigid and there was a lot they didn't get to experience. Add into account how unhealthy sweets can be, and you know they were highly restricted / frowned upon. And taking into consideration how much Nina looks up to her father... enough said. 😔 ❄️- ^ On a happier note however, bc of that, if someone she cares about were to gift her something sweet or something she might deem childish like a stuffed animal, she is definitely the type to act unimpressed, while later if you're lucky you might just find she secretly kept it anyhow. ❄️- I feel like if Nina watches crime shows or podcasts, it's on days where she hasn't executed a hit in a while, and she does nothing but pinpoint the killer right away, and critique their actions. Judging why they chose to kill, every mistake the killer made along the way? Yeah she's catching them, she's judging, she's sipping her 4th cup of tea for the day. ☕️ ❄️- Also you didn't hear it from me, but the secret to Nina's evil mist attacks? Dissolvable capsules under her tongue. 😶
