Intricate Sculptures by Zheng Lu Suspend Splashes of Water in Stainless Steel Harnessing the energy of water in motion, Zheng Lu’s metallic sculptures appear frozen in time. The Beijing-based artist defies utilitarian or industrial associations with steel, creating tension between the material and the fluid forms. Challenging our expectations and understanding of physics, smooth, chrome-like surfaces reflect the surroundings and change in the light as the viewer moves around them, further adding to the perception that the sculpture itself is in motion. In some of the works, Zheng composes surfaces of thousands of Chinese characters derived from historical texts and poems, nodding to early Chinese philosophers who studied physical principles of the natural world to better understand cosmological mysteries. What I'm saying is Brothers Karamazov is the link between Link Click musicals, with two Cheng Xiaoshis and one Lu Guang >< And I think it's just neat that they know each other and have a history of working together ^^

*tcp is also starring in 'Love Begins', the same play as Zhao Jialin - QL's actress from dance musical

*Brothers Karamazov's plot is very accessible to grasp bc it's based on a famous russian novel by Dostoyevsky that's why I know about it. Also bc it's dramatic and sad af and the actors look gorgeous so I just had to learn more ><'

Mini-review:

I don't know why I put off watching this for so long, cause it's really good. It includes so much stuff that I love: laugh-out-loud comedy, heartbreaking stories, supernatural elements and, most of all, a bunch of characters that burrow their way into your heart. The dynamic they share, specially between Yiyong and Guangyan, is incredibly fun. I feel like I could spend hours and hours watching them doing whatever together. And that's exactly what puts this drama miles ahead of other similarly supernatural-themed stories: the character writing is so damn good that you don't even care about the show's flaws, like the weak CGI. It certainly helps that the entire cast does a fantastic job, with Tseng Jing Hua giving a particularly unforgettable perfomance as the main character. Oh No! Here Comes Trouble is exactly what I needed right now, and I hope we get to see these characters again in the future.
