WeTV has been hitting it out of the park with their BL series.

I Saw You In My Dream and Monster Next Door (and I haven't finished Knock Knock Boys yet, but I think I can safely put that here, too) have said over and over that your friends can be your family, that loving and prioritizing and celebrating your friends is just as important as your love for your partner, that being yourself and being honest about who you are with the people you love is the best way to be happy and win the day, that honest and frank discussion of sex and desire is good and normal, and that loving people makes you braver.

That we don't have to change ourselves to be loved, but sometimes we change a little through loving, and that's okay and good even when it's scary. That forgiveness needs to be earned and a sincere apology goes a long way towards healing.

What a beautiful ethos to infuse your love stories with, especially in a media landscape that so often neglects the importance of friendship and self in favor of progressing the romance.

Stepbrothers. Tension. Classmates. At a school basketball court, some students are playing truth or dare.

New student Sheng Wang (LIU DONG QIN) chooses dare. His dare: Kiss the first person that walks up. As luck would have it. Jiang Tian (BENJAMIN TSANG) his newly acquired stepbrother is the one.

The kiss happens and Jiang Tian let's it happen as the other students cheer, ooh and ahh.

Later Sheng Wang tries to talk or perhaps reason with his angry (?) stepbrother claiming it's no big deal. And this happens...

Wow! Ok, the adaptation is not faithful, but the necessary points of the story seem to be there.

Sometimes the camera is not fixed and I did not like that.

I like Akin as a character.

I wish Jin had his hair cut so I could see his expressions...

There are good premises and they chose to tell the story in chronological order.

I saw the first two episodes and I am thrilled.

I can't wait to see the third.

I have seen Thai dramas with more budgets so I feel a bit sorry for the production of the media that could not exploit important resources.

I really like how Boom Raveewit Jirapongkanon acts.

Hashigo Sakurabi wrote a beautiful story and also the stories of the dramas that the actors played were beautiful, I miss them... anyway, I understand the choices, after all it was born as a slightly racy manga so it's fine that it is "freely" inspired.

I don't want to subscribe to wetv. There isn't enough thing to watch on it to justify subscribing to yet another streaming service. Wanting to watch the second episode of Top Form isn't a good enough reason. I guess after a week they may put it online for free. How I wished Gaga would stream it just the way they did with Monster Next Door.

(It's not anymore available on Viu, Viki, or Netflix in my country, but it's still available at Prime Video and Disney+.)

So bummed out that I need to wait for Top Form to be 🏴‍☠️ before I can watch it, I don’t sub to WeTv, there isn’t enough stuff on it for me to want to pay for it, plus it’s mobile app absolutely sucks and that’s how I watch 90% of my shows, on my phone via apps.
