The music getting faster, with each kiss showing their desperation and finally letting their hunger take over. The camera angles and lighting showed so much hot desire. The YEARNING from Akin was extremely tempting to Jin, and he just couldn't take it anymore. I love how they perfected the characters' intense feelings of craving each other exactly like JuntaTakato in dakaichi. This honey scene was almost exactly like the yaoi, and I love what they did to make it more innocent, iykyk... But seriously, though, they have smooth and perfect kiss chemistry, plus it doesn't look cringey at all. Congrats SmartBoom for one of your first major NC scenes as a new BL pair. 👏

Even the 'blackmailing' scene was there. The only difference is that it didn't go sexual (or illegal) right after Akin locked himself in the bathroom.

(In the manga, Jin wished for more than just a hug. And got it too by way of force 😭😭😭)

I hate to call myself out as the freak I am, but I'm rewatching the Dakaichi movie and I just need to talk about the animation quality. I know it's nothing extremely impressive compared to a lot of other pieces of media, but the art is seriously well done. One specific moment that I'm just in awe of is when Takato winds up to punch Junta. Plot relevance wise I know it's not important and extremely forgetful, but when people talk about art, it's an image that plays in my head because it's just so well done. The specific zoom, the effects as he turns, every frame of motion. That second of animation that probably took some poor son of a bitch a week to get done just conveys so much emotion that every time I watch it I'm always shocked we didn't get to see him actually swing before the cut away. I know it's kinda stupid to gush over the art in a problematic BL that I watched in my formative years and now can't let go of, but damnit there's a little piece of art in everything, and there's a lot of pieces of art in that moment alone, and I haven't even went on about the rest of the movie. I don't know, seeing it just brings me a little more joy at the marvels of human creation.

I was still very unsure if Top Form had colors going into the fourth episode, and if they were green and blue,

But I did find it interesting that Jin wanted to give Akin flowers.

And that those flowers were blue.

I also liked that when they got back to Akin's apartment, the lighting was blue.

Until things started warming up.

But the best part is there was only one colored piece of clothing in Jin's closet, and it was green.

Because while they were waiting at the red light, and Akin was getting more bothered that Jin wasn't looking at him,

Akin was sitting in green while he was becoming redder.

But the second Jin gave him the candy that initiated their first meeting, everything else turned green.

It was the green light!

Because even earlier when he was upset that Jin was avoiding him, he went to a green place.

So in that moment, at the light, Akin essentially gave in to his feelings for Jin.

And Jin was always going to be all in.

Because he likes this Blue Boy.

And he has since the first day. Thankfully, he got help from Akin's matchmaking manager in pink.

So just like I noticed before, the text seems to be a blending of their colors.

And magically on Day 20, Akin turned green when he allowed Jin to call him Kin.

Which lead us to Day 21 with the blue flowers.

And now Jin is getting green flowers.

So . . . we do have color-coded boys in love, and I am giddy about it!

Wow! Ok, the adaptation is not faithful, but the necessary points of the story seem to be there.

Sometimes the camera is not fixed and I did not like that.

I like Akin as a character.

I wish Jin had his hair cut so I could see his expressions...

There are good premises and they chose to tell the story in chronological order.

I saw the first two episodes and I am thrilled.

I can't wait to see the third.

I have seen Thai dramas with more budgets so I feel a bit sorry for the production of the media that could not exploit important resources.

I really like how Boom Raveewit Jirapongkanon acts.

Hashigo Sakurabi wrote a beautiful story and also the stories of the dramas that the actors played were beautiful, I miss them... anyway, I understand the choices, after all it was born as a slightly racy manga so it's fine that it is "freely" inspired.

I didn't have high expectations for this series, but so far, I have no complaints. The acting and pacing of the story is good. 😊 It also somehow follows the original plot in the manga, so kudos to that.

Also, aside from that non-consentual kiss in the hospital scene, everything is a-okay.
