Understanding the Enneagram and Coaching
The Enneagram is a powerful tool for better understanding ourselves, others and improving communication. There are nine different ways to see the world. It is guaranteed that your relationships will improve once you learn the way you see the world...and the way people you are in relationship with see the world differently.
Learning the Enneagram will give you insight, tools and strategies that will improve your life and your relationships as well as give you clarity into who you truly are.

Hey 9wing!! Hello and I hope you're doing well <3
I've seen a couple of your posts mentioning this sort of sentiment and now I'm genuinely asking with curiosity; how would one think that Kaylor is a romantic love story?
No doubt, the songs are amazing masterpieces, the long-term perseverance is admirable and there are certainly many aspects of Kaylor that are poetic and remind me of the magic of 'soulmates,' whether that is practically real or not
However, even as a third party observer who has no stakes in this, I find it bleak and tiring sometimes
Constant backlash and scrutiny from the media, the people and most often your own fans; having to communicate in cryptic language; having to engage in unpleasant PR stunts; having to hide a central part of yourself just to survive in this world; not having the liberty to be yourself and love whomever you love loudly and proudly; being constantly misunderstood by a large fraction of the world; being loved but not seen; living in uncertainty about your own rights and freedom when the political climate's so unstable
I understand that life is not without problems and sometimes you have to do what you have to do with whatever choices are at your disposal. And these two will always have my support, and I make sure to respect my own mental health and step away from this site of the internet when things get too much
But how would one see the beauty in this? The light in the darkness? I would love to know and hear your and other's perspectives and what keeps you optimistic despite it all. Thank you and good day
i would love to hear from others!
i think that everyone will have their own definitions of beauty or romance, so i understand where you are coming from, and your impressions are valid for you!
for me, there are aspects of their story that i just cannot find in other places in the world, and it’s always been something that brings me opportunities reflect on my own life and life philosophy.
i think that there is something to be said for the amount of unconditional love that they show one another that appears when picking haven for one another at the risk of their reputations. i recognize that it probably doesn’t look that way for many people but from my perspective, it’s how i see it. there is something singularly authentic about it to me. as a enneagram type 9 (where my username comes from), i gravitate to the concept of holy love like a moth to a flame, and the dynamic of seeing taylor push her lovers away all her life and then meeting karlie and being inspired by karlie but still fighting doubt and ultimately trying to push her away only for karlie to vehemently refuse to leave is just.. something that really speaks to me. it sort of embodies the human struggle not just to give love but to accept love. i’m not sure if i’m explaining it well but there is so much depth to the love that she writes about in these albums, separate from the heavy external factors that have shaped their story.
but for me, those external factors only work to heighten my interest and appreciation for their journey. in my career i’ve done a lot of executive coaching work and study in leadership theory and i find the study of defining moments (sometimes called crucible moments) incredibly interesting and for taylor and karlie, at the top of their game, the stakes could not be higher and their navigation of everything is very interesting to me.
and i think that the struggle is a part of the beauty because i don’t always find easy things beautiful, and by that i don’t mean that pain is beauty in some voyeuristic way but that success after pain feels more spectacular than success without struggle.
if you are a fan of literature or philosophy, i would recommend the seminal work of junichiro tanizaki called “in praise of shadows” — there’s a fairly well known concept in japan called wabi-sabi which is the idea that true beauty is found in the transient and the fleeting. that a falling cherry blossom is more beautiful than a tree in full bloom, or that cracks in pottery ought be to celebrated (there a tradition in japan of fixing cracks in ceramics with gold called kintsugi). tanizaki’s writing is very formative to this concept and it’s something that has giving me a heightened appreciation for things with complication and age.

Task #001 — Personality
MBTI: ENFJ-A (The Protagonist)
People with the ENFJ personality type (Protagonists) feel called to serve a greater purpose in life. Thoughtful and idealistic, ENFJs strive to have a positive impact on other people and the world around them. These personalities rarely shy away from an opportunity to do the right thing, even when doing so is far from easy. ENFJs are born leaders, which explains why these personalities can be found among many notable politicians, coaches, and teachers. Their passion and charisma allow them to inspire others not just in their careers but in every arena of their lives, including their relationships. Few things bring people with the ENFJ personality type a deeper sense of joy and fulfillment than guiding friends and loved ones to grow into their best selves.
Enneagram: One
Ones are defined by their belief that everything must be in order, and by their feeling that they must always be "right." They show great commitment and determination to improve conditions that they find need improvement, and they are forward in encouraging others to improve their performance, too. At their core, Ones are the “model children” of the Enneagram world—dutiful, responsible and perfection-seeking. At the same time, they are idealists, in the sense that they believe they know exactly how to perfect the world and they wonder why others do not see it. Many Ones proselytize about the one true set of rules; the one true course of action; or how things "ought" to be. They are often drawn to positions of teaching, advocacy or inspirational leadership where they can share their vision and seek to reform the world. As teachers, they are creative, exemplary and motivating.
Four Temperaments: Sanguine
The sanguine personality is characterized by a cheerful disposition, lively energy, and a generally positive and optimistic outlook on life. Sanguine individuals tend to be highly social, extroverted, and enthusiastic, often possessing a contagious sense of humor that makes them the life of the party. They are usually creative, imaginative, and tend to be very entertaining. Sanguine individuals are also spontaneous and can be seen as impulsive at times. They have a tendency to live in the moment, which often leads to them being adaptable and flexible in different situations. They tend to be more interested in the present than in future plans or consequences. This trait, however, can also lead to difficulty in maintaining focus, staying organized, and following through on tasks. Moreover, sanguine people are often charismatic and are able to influence and inspire others with their vibrant energy and contagious enthusiasm. Their natural ability to create and maintain relationships often leads to a large network of friends and acquaintances. On the flip side, the sanguine temperament may lack depth in the analysis of situations and can sometimes take things too lightly, even when seriousness is required. This can lead to a tendency towards forgetfulness and disorganization. Their desire for social acceptance and fear of rejection can also make them overly sensitive to criticism. Overall, sanguine individuals are warm-hearted, buoyant, and carefree, bringing lightness and joy to their environments and interactions. Despite their potential challenges, they have a unique ability to rebound from disappointments with their resilient optimism.
The Allignment System: Lawful Good
A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. Lawful good can be a dangerous alignment when it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.
Love Language: Quality Time
Your Love Tank overflows with Quality Time. You prize undivided attention from others. Spending meaningful and uninterrupted time together profoundly impacts your emotional world. Whether it’s in deep conversations or sharing experiences together with a loved one who is fully present and engaged, Quality Time conveys that you are a top priority and deeply loved.
Zodiac Sign: Virgo
Virgos are always paying attention to the smallest details and their deep sense of humanity makes them one of the most careful signs of the zodiac. Their methodical approach to life ensures that nothing is left to chance, and although they are often tender, their heart might be closed for the outer world. This is a sign often misunderstood, not because they lack the ability to express, but because they won’t accept their feelings as valid, true, or even relevant when opposed to reason. The symbolism behind the name speaks well of their nature, born with a feeling they are experiencing everything for the first time.

Task #001 — Personality
MBTI: ENFJ-T (The Protagonist)
Enneagram: Four
Fours are defined by their belief that they are different from other people, and by their feelings of envy for what others have. Fours have the sense that something is missing from their lives, and they worry that they will never have the happiness that other people experience. At their core, Fours feel they are fundamentally flawed and will never be able to be truly understood by other people. At the same time, they passionately long for the type of deep connection that will make them feel whole and accepted. Many Fours romanticize and idealize their relationships, hoping that each new connection will be the one that finally makes them feel understood and appreciated.
Four Temperaments: Melancholic
The melancholic temperament, is often characterized by deep thoughts, introspection, and a propensity for reflection. A person with a melancholic temperament is typically introverted, detail-oriented, and analytical, often displaying an inclination toward philosophical or intellectual pursuits. Melancholics value order, consistency, and perfection. They are driven by a strong sense of right and wrong and have high personal standards. While this can make them incredibly dedicated, it can also lead to self-criticism or perceived inadequacy when they fall short of their own expectations. Melancholics tend to form deep, meaningful relationships, cherishing a few close bonds rather than seeking broad social networks. They are typically sensitive and empathetic, often going to great lengths to understand and support those close to them. Their introspective nature can lead to a predilection for solitude, and they often need time alone to recharge. They are known for their introspective and often creative minds, as their propensity for deep thought can inspire beautiful pieces of art, literature, and other forms of expression. On the downside, melancholics can struggle with a tendency towards pessimism, and they may be prone to feelings of sadness, worry, or even depression. They can get caught up in overanalyzing situations, which can lead to indecision or inaction. They might also struggle to adapt to new environments, preferring to stick to what they know and are comfortable with. Despite these challenges, when in balance, melancholics can contribute enormously to society, especially in roles that require thoughtful analysis, attention to detail, or deep empathy. They are the planners, the thinkers, and the caretakers, often bringing a level of depth and introspection that can deeply enrich the lives of those around them.
Love Language: Words of Affirmation
Your Love Tank overflows with Words of Affirmation. Words hold a special power for you in building connections. You thrive on hearing kind and encouraging verbal expressions that come from the heart. They quickly fill up your Love Tank. Words of Affirmation encourage you and make you feel deeply valued and connected.
Zodiac Sign: Libra
People born under the sign of Libra are peaceful, fair, and they hate being alone. Partnership is very important for them, seeking someone with the ability to be the mirror to themselves. These individuals are fascinated by balance and symmetry, they are in a constant chase for justice and equality, realizing through life that the only thing that should be truly important to themselves in their own inner core of personality. This is someone ready to do nearly anything to avoid conflict, keeping the peace whenever possible

III. BACKGROUND INFO
born in michigan to a pair of nineteen year olds — his mother , a nursing student & his father , a starry - eyed hockey player at msu hoping to make it to the pros one day .
[ DEATH TW ] his mother passed shortly after his birth due to birth - related complications . with her gone , his dad was suddenly thrust into the role of a single parent with zero experience & his dreams of making it big in hockey were cut short very abruptly with his newfound responsibilities ... he would have no choice but to drop out & move back home to ann arbor for support with raising myles . his father never went back to school , but he did get back out on the ice — this time , as a coach for junior league hockey teams . he was content , given the circumstances ... & of course , as soon as myles was able to stand up on two feet , his dad was shoving him out on the ice & teaching him the thing he loved most .
it started with good intentions , but the older myles got , the more intense his father acted towards the sport . he was still grieving his lost love & his lost chance at going pro ... his LOVE quickly turned into obsession , & he ruled myles with an iron fist , constantly pushing for myles to practice longer hours & to run more drills ... his father was living vicariously through him , & he wasn't going to lose 'his' shot at being a part of the nhl again . this complicated things for myles : hockey was all he'd ever known . he adored the sport more than anything in the world ; he truly felt at home on the ice . but the toxicity of his father meant that he was always working himself down to the bone . HOCKEY WAS MYLES' ENTIRE LIFE — the only thing he had going for him . he'd been taught to put his schooling , relationships , & all else on the back burner ... but myles' own insecurities about making his father proud would blind him , & he would continue to allow himself to be carved into the PERFECT player . above all , he just wanted his dad to love & accept him ... he knew he wouldn't get that unless he succeeded . so he put his blood , sweat , & tears into the sport . luckily , it would all pay off in the end . myles would land a contract — fresh out of highschool — with the pittsburgh penguins for three years . the penguins would go on to win the stanley cup his first & second years on the team , & myles' career & reputation would SKYROCKET . the new kid on the block was a force to be reckoned with , & by the time his contract was done with , myles had multiple teams waving multimillion dollar contracts in his face . [ MENTAL ABUSE TW ] being swept up into the whirlwind of professional hockey was GOOD for myles . besides the obvious $$$ & the sweet taste of success , playing a game that was so rough around the edges actually forced him to GROW A BACKBONE . him & his father would suffer from a terrible falling - out after a nasty fight where myles finally laid into his dad about all the years of anguish that he'd suffered because of him ; his father would tell him how he really felt : how he HATED myles , always had , for ruining his life ... & that was the END of their relationship . myles got back up though . he refused to let his father spoil what he had going ; in fact , it only made him want to succeed more . he would go on to sign a five year contract with the new york islanders , where his career would FLOURISH . his third year in , he'd be named captain of the team — an honor that he took very proudly ... but besides hockey , being in new york city as a young & rich pro sports player also thrust him into the spotlight ... it definitely helped that the people he surrounded himself with now included heirs & heiresses , models , ceos , & other talented & wealthy individuals . he definitely wasn't trying to use people to climb the ranks of fame ( truly , he couldn't care less about that kind of stuff ) , but myles' charisma ( & his newfound friends ) swiftly shot up his social media following , & now he's well - known nationwide for being a killer on the ice & an absolute sweetheart in interviews .
IV. PERSONALITY
depsite the hardships that myles has faced throughout his life , he manages to have a rather rosy outlook most of the times . he's a study in remaining soft in spite of it all : myles is a guy that wears his heart on his sleeve , & is typically very forthcoming with his feelings ( except when it comes to family matters ) . he is extremely warmhearted & a wonderful friend to have by your side . a very genuine & reliable person — LOYAL too . myles is remarkably easy to get along with ; it takes a lot to truly upset him ( & even then , he's forgiving to a fault ) . while he has grown a spine , in comparison to his younger days , he's still got a BAD HABIT of letting people walk all over him . deep down , he still has some insecurity ... he wants people to love & accept him . he'd do anything for the people he loves . he's also a little unserious — very silly . myles loves to make people laugh . being bodyslammed by grown ass men on the ice may have scrambled a few brain cells ... he can be a bit DITZY at times . kind of an airhead ( with love ) . there's a fair amount of 'booksmart' things that he's not familiar with because he wasn't made to focus on school . very excitable ! Golden Retriever Boyfriend™ vibes to the max . overall , a sweet & funny guy that has a knack for wiggling hockey somewhere into every conversation he has . * i will note that he is a completely different person on the ice ... has the mouth of a sailor & can be a tad 🤏 aggressive . that's really just hockey though ! if you ask him about his behavior during a game , he's gonna act like he doesn't know what ur talking about cause that's a different version of him completely .
V. HEADCANONS
has a fat tuxedo cat named gordie ( yes , after the hockey player ) & a husky named puck ( who is equally as loud as him ) . for lack of better comparison ... he is so pete davidson in the sense that he manages to pull so many hot , high - profile women to the point where it's a little wild ... like how & why ( it's because they love his nice boy swag ... & 3/4 of them are literally just his friends , the media just likes to take two people hanging out & run with it ) . has The Worst fashion sense known to man . will show up anywhere in a pair of sweats and a jersey . loves his beat up , emotional support high top converse more than anything . is a human space heater . impermeable to the cold . always giving his jacket away to whoever he's with & standing out in the snow in a t - shirt & basketball shorts . doesn't say ' oh my god ' ... says ' omg ' out loud instead . is a crystal girlie . he has a small collection & likes to lend them to his friends when he sees that they need them .
VI. WANTED CONNECTIONS
listen ... anything & everything . but here are a few ideas : party friends , bad influence ( on myles ) , good influence ( on y/m ) , sibling - like relationship , gym buddies , unlikely friends , flirtationship , fwb , pr stunt ( friendship or 'romantic' relationship ) , exes ( probably on good terms , but i do love & am open to some zest ! ) , someone myles actually dislikes , unrequited crush ( myles probably has one on y/m #loverboy ) , makeshift stylist ( someone help him ) , someone myles is trying to teach how to ice skate , bromances ( nonbinary / fem muses are included in this hehe ) , & literally anything else we can cook up ! * ex fiancée — remember how i made the pete davidson comparison ? yea ... i think it'd be fun to have a quick & short - lived engagement for myles . honestly probably Thee Relationship that boosted his fame to new heights . he definitely would not have used her for fame — myles honestly doesn't really care about that — but i still think it'd be fun to be a little messy hehe . for what it's worth , myles truly loved her and thought they'd fr be together forever ... he's a hopeless romantic , it's true ...

Question 1: lying
I’m wondering why being forced to lie makes me uncomfortable? As an ESFJ 6w7, i’m not sure that there’s anything in my stacking which would indicate that lying is something I’d be uncomfortable with. For instance, I know other Fe-users and attachment types who don’t mind others asking them to lie. [...] Summary: can Fe-user attachment types feel a lot of weirdness around lying, like it’s antithetical to their being? That always struck me as more of an Fi thing.
I think showing a discomfort with lying just shows you have a concern with authenticity and want to live a life of honor and sincerity in your relationships. Not everyone feels that lying is wrong for them, and many of them may coach it in other terms (lying to protect people's feelings, etc). But there's an element of 6 that wants to strive for honesty and trust in their relationships, which you can't maintain when you deceive others. Inevitably, lies come to the surface and can cause harm, which a 6 might consider before employing deceit. Fi users are no more honest than Fe users. Everyone has reasons for what they do, and not all of them are explained by your type. It's very 6ish to want a type to explain everything about your personality, but as I've learned over many years of being one -- it doesn't, lol.
Question 2: deliberate socializing
I’ve also been thinking about mindfulness around socializing lately. I have an easy time initiating somewhat spontaneous social time these days—it keeps the demons away (literally, since I find that feelings of depression and anxiety tend to be pushed to the background when I’m focused on someone else.) While spending my time socially is better than being alone and doing something un-mindful like scrolling on social media, I find that I come out of a lot of my conversations feeling neutral and not remembering a lot. I might be happy/having fun in the moment, but the time spent doesn’t feel incredibly meaningful. (It can also be a way of procrastinating my more boring, but meaningful, responsibilities.)
If your interactions do not feel meaningful, it might be worth asking yourself what you want from them, and what you can do to help push them to a deeper level. What is it you need from a connection? Are you over-idealizing it? Or is this just finding fault with yourself with your 6-ness, and using your 7 wing to idolize and always feel a little frustrated that nothing ever seems wonderful enough? It's normal for a 6w7 to wonder what's wrong with them, to feel bad about themselves, to blame themselves for not having a deeper connection to others, and yet to have no capacity to express what exactly is missing, becase it's an intangible desire out of their frustration -- it's not real but a thought, a chronic dissatisfaction with life not being "enough."
When someone matters to you, you tend to be more serious in your approach to them and careful in what you say to them. Having some doubts about a significant other being committed is normal for a 6. It's important to think about these things before you get too serious with this person, since a 6 is always going to need to feel secure, and a 7 significant other needs to take this into account in how they treat the 6. 6s typically do not like open relationships where the other person is free to be with other people, because of the anxiety it causes them about being replaced. It's important to both honor and recognize your own likely needs (to think about what they might be and believe you have a right to them) and to consider the person you are with and their natural tendencies. You cannot pin down or force a 7 to stay in one place any more than you can magically get over your need for security and emotional rawness in a relationship.
Anyway, any thoughts on being more mindful with time I spend with others? In Enneagram terms, I’ve been thinking about it as I need more rejection (i.e. “this isn’t something I want, goodbye!”) I’ve also been thinking about every other day or so, just taking a day for myself to consider what I want and do something more deliberate, like read a book, write poetry, sing, etc. But I tend to just end up scrolling or lounging around.
You need to set up boundaries for yourself, so you do the things you think about doing rather than just think about doing them—in other words, shut off your laptop or turn off your phone, and be more present and deliberate in what you are doing. If you want to read more, read for twenty minutes first thing in the morning or some other convenient time. It’s easier to start small, and a habit will build out of it, and then you may find that your book is so interesting, you keep going for longer than twenty minutes. Or you could commit to writing two lines of poetry a day, and find that sparks your creativity and you write six. Commit to a small change and it will lead to bigger things.

Determining your Enneagram wing involves identifying which of the two adjacent types to your core Enneagram type you resonate with more. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you find your wing:
### Steps to Determine Your Enneagram Wing:
1. **Identify Your Core Type**:
- If you haven't already, take a reliable Enneagram test or read descriptions of the nine types to determine your core type.
2. **Look at Adjacent Types**:
- Find the two numbers adjacent to your core type on the Enneagram circle. For example, if you are a Type 4, your adjacent types are Type 3 and Type 5.
3. **Reflect on Traits and Motivations**:
- Read descriptions of the two adjacent types. Reflect on which traits and motivations resonate more with you. Consider how these traits manifest in your behavior and thinking.
4. **Assess Your Behavior**:
- Think about how you react in different situations. Do you lean more towards the characteristics of one adjacent type over the other?
5. **Take a Wing-Specific Test**:
- Some Enneagram tests provide insights into your wing. Look at your test results to see which adjacent type you scored higher on.
6. **Observe Over Time**:
- Your wing might not be immediately obvious. Pay attention to your behavior and preferences over time to see which wing influences you more consistently.
### Example:
If you are a Type 4 (The Individualist):
- **4w3 (Wing 3)**: You might be more sociable, ambitious, and image-conscious.
- **4w5 (Wing 5)**: You might be more introspective, intellectual, and prefer solitude.
### Practical Tips:
- **Journaling**: Write about your experiences and feelings. This can help you notice patterns that align with one wing more than the other.
- **Feedback from Others**: Ask friends or family who know you well to share their observations about your behavior and traits.
- **Professional Guidance**: Consider consulting with an Enneagram coach or therapist who can provide deeper insights.
Understanding your wing can add nuance to your self-awareness and personal growth journey. If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask!

☆ task 001 - personality.
"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone." - Audrey Hepburn
mbti: enfj
ENFJs are born leaders, which explains why these personalities can be found among many notable politicians, coaches, and teachers. their passion and charisma allow them to inspire others not just in their careers but in every arena of their lives, including their relationships. few things bring people with the ENFJ personality type a deeper sense of joy and fulfillment than guiding friends and loved ones to grow into their best selves.
alignment: lawful good
a lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. he tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. a lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. however, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment when it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.
love language: acts of service
your love tank overflows with acts of service. a thoughtful, selfless deed or gesture is sure to win your heart. when a loved one goes out of their way to make your life easier, you feel connected to them. an act of service communicates that you are their top priority. actions, for you, speak louder than words. acts of Service quickly fill your love tank.
enneagram: two
twos are empathetic, sincere, and warm-hearted. they are friendly, generous, and self-sacrificing, but can also be sentimental, flattering, and people-pleasing. they are well-meaning and driven to be close to others, but can slip into doing things for others in order to be needed. they typically have problems with possessiveness and with acknowledging their own needs. at their best: unselfish and altruistic, they have unconditional love for others.
temperament: phlegmatic
phlegmatic individuals tend to be content with themselves and are generally kind and considerate. They are often perceived as the type of people who go with the flow, displaying patience and a relaxed demeanor. they are more introspective and inward-focused than the other temperaments, and may require more time to process their thoughts and feelings. this personality type is characterized by a profound sense of empathy and understanding of others' feelings. they are often diplomatic, able to mediate disputes and bring about peaceful resolutions. despite their laid-back exterior, phlegmatics possess a deep, inner desire for a peaceful coexistence and generally avoid conflict whenever possible. phlegmatic individuals can be quite reliable and trustful. they tend to respect the status quo and maintain routines, offering consistency and stability. however, this can sometimes come across as a lack of ambition or drive, as they tend not to seek out new experiences or challenges. the phlegmatic personality type can also be reserved and introverted. they are usually quiet and may not share their thoughts and feelings unless asked. they appreciate time alone or with a close group of friends, preferring intimate gatherings over large, loud social events. phlegmatics can sometimes be perceived as passive or indifferent because they don't often show strong emotional reactions. yet, this same characteristic also makes them calm under pressure and composed during stressful situations. they are known for their rational, objective, and systematic approach to problems, which makes them excellent in roles that require steady, consistent work and careful planning. despite their many strengths, phlegmatics may struggle with complacency and procrastination. they may also find it challenging to express their thoughts and feelings openly, leading others to perceive them as detached or disinterested. however, with their inherent ability to foster cooperation and harmony, phlegmatic individuals are a crucial component in any diverse group or team.
zodiac sign: virgo
virgos are always paying attention to the smallest details and their deep sense of humanity makes them one of the most careful signs of the zodiac. their methodical approach to life ensures that nothing is left to chance, and although they are often tender, their heart might be closed for the outer world. this is a sign often misunderstood, not because they lack the ability to express, but because they won’t accept their feelings as valid, true, or even relevant when opposed to reason. the symbolism behind the name speaks well of their nature, born with a feeling they are experiencing everything for the first time.

BIOGRAPHY
Born on May 5th, 1986 in the coastal town of Kismet Harbor, Florence Sienna Lattimore is the fourth sibling in the family and second child of Rachel Lattimore-Miller. Florence’s childhood was marked by a strong sense of community and moral values. Her father's emphasis on kindness, integrity, and resilience shaped Florence into the person she would become. The loss of her mother when she was just eight years old profoundly impacted her but brought the family even closer together. From a young age, Florence showed a natural athleticism and a competitive spirit, which she channelled quite quickly into tennis, with her father and siblings as first coaches and opponents.
Her passion for tennis really took off when she was just turning nine and she practised any chance she got on the local tennis courts. With determination and talent, by the age of twelve, she was competing in and winning regional tournaments. Her exceptional performance on the junior tennis circuit caught the attention of national coaches, and thanks to her dedication and hard work, and she’ll tell you her family’s support, she transitioned smoothly into the professional tennis world as soon as she could.
Rather fast, she made a name for herself in the world of tennis. What cemented this was a first Grand Slam win at the age of 19 as she became one of the top-ranked tennis players globally. Her peak moment came in 2012 when she clinched the gold medal in singles at the London Olympics in the U.S Olympic Team, solidifying her legacy.
Inspired by her upbringing in Kismet Harbor, Florence also made herself known as an environmental activist and launched a sustainable brand focused on eco-friendly sportswear and equipment. Florence also embraced opportunities in the modelling world, using her platform to advocate for body positivity and environmental responsibility.
In 2015, at a charity event, Florence met the person she would end up marrying a few months after getting her second gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016. As they decided to have a child, they moved back to Kismet Harbor. Florence got pregnant and in 2017, Lily Lattimore-Sorley was born.
After all her achievements, Florence decided to give back to the sport by creating the Lattimore Tennis Academy in Kismet Harbor. Welcoming aspiring tennis players from diverse backgrounds, its goal is to provide top-tier training and mentorship. When she wasn’t away on competitions, Florence mentored some of the students herself.
A few of years later, tragedy struck during a high-stakes match that would forever change Florence’s life. Florence took a severe fall that resulted in a traumatic brain injury and partial loss of vision in one eye. The injury was not only physically debilitating but also emotionally crushing, as it abruptly ended her professional tennis career. Extensive rehabilitation followed, and while Florence worked tirelessly to recover, the impaired vision made it impossible for her to compete at the highest levels of the sport she loved so deeply.
Refusing to let the injury define her, she recovered thanks to the support of those around her and decided to fully commit to the other ventures of her life. She became a full-time coach at the academy and was able to give more time to her brand and to her activism as well. Life’s unexpected turns truly lead to new beginnings.

💭 THOUGHT BALLOON — what is your oc's MBTI, enneagram, and/or other personality aspects (if known/interested in)?
🍦 SOFT ICE CREAM — what is/are your oc's favorite ice cream flavor(s)?
🐉 DRAGON — what is your oc's favorite mythical creature?
For Rose!
Hi, darling!! Thanks for sending this! → Ask game
I had to do a little research for the first one because I never thought about it, except the fact I knew she's extrovert (unlike me 🫣.) But I did enjoy reading about it!
💭 THOUGHT BALLOON — what is your oc's MBTI, enneagram, and/or other personality aspects (if known/interested in)?
The one that fits for her is ENFJ. According to Google:
People with the ENFJ personality type, feel called to serve a greater purpose in life.
When ENFJs care about someone, they want to help solve that person’s problems – sometimes at any cost.
And it fits because she's a suffragette advocating for women's rights and has a school for girls and a institution that helps women and their children who are escaping from an abusive relationship (or house). Later she became politician. So, she was almost her whole life trying to help others. And at any cost, like says there, because she ended in prison twice because of it 💁‍♀️.
🍦 SOFT ICE CREAM — what is/are your oc's favorite ice cream flavor(s)?
This one is a shorter answer 😅.
Maybe vanilla and strawberry. It helps a lot that back then I don't think there was so many options like we have today. If chocolate existed, then, chocolate too.
🐉 DRAGON — what is your oc's favorite mythical creature?
Ohhh! This one is interesting! Maybe sirens or tritons. I couldn't be surprised if more than once she found herself sitting in front of the sea thinking about these creatures.
Probably centaurs, too.

2023 End Of Year Review
1. What was the single best thing that happened this past year? finding a job that is less stressful
2. What was the single most challenging thing that happened? waking up on a sunday, taking a walk with my husband and pup, not realizing it would be our last. Our dog Toby had emergency surgery that night and passed away a few days later from complications.
3. What was an unexpected joy this past year? starting to learn to work with and trust my body.
4. What was an unexpected obstacle? feeling like I took a step back (several, really) in my journey with anxiety, esp as it pertains to things I have loved doing.
5. Pick three words to describe 2023. “I am trying.”
6. Pick three words your spouse would use to describe your 2023 (don’t ask them; guess based on how you think your spouse sees you). Fighting my brain.
7. Pick three words your spouse would use to describe their 2023 (again, without asking). Where’d it go?
8. With whom were your most valuable relationships? The people who were intentional about seeing me as worth trying to know, even if it was hard.
9. What were the best books you read this year? I read 26 books this year (4 short of my goal, but that’s okay). Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow was really good but also heart wrenching. I enjoyed some of the fluffier things I read too.
10. What was your biggest personal change from January to December of this past year? I got a new job!
11. In what way(s) did you grow emotionally? Learning that healing and growth arent linear, that I can hold 2+ opposing things/ideas/feelings. Having to wrestle with wanting some people in my circle to denounce hate but instead took a different path, and that is their choice to make (and not mine to force, but definitely okay for me to speak up about)
12. In what way(s) did you grow spiritually? Hard to say.
13. In what way(s) did you grow physically? I started working virtually with a fitness coach in October, and I think that is paying off if only in that I have stuck with it and am trusting my body a little more.
14. In what way(s) did you grow in your relationships with others? It’s been a lonely year, and I have been needier than I would like (as an eldest daughter and an enneagram 2). I have had to trust the people in my life to show up if they mean business.
15. What was the most enjoyable part of your work (both professionally and at home)? Professionally: getting to know new coworkers. At home: learning to communicate better.
16. What was the most challenging part of your work (both professionally and at home)? Professionally: advocating for myself; at home: learning to communicate better
17. What was your single biggest time waster in your life this past year? Anxiety.
18. What was the best way you used your time this past year? Loving.
19. What was biggest thing you learned this past year? I am not perfect, and I am still worth knowing and loving.
20. Create a phrase or statement that describes 2023 for you. Pruning (Have to do the work before I can grow)
