He doesn't care if people hang up pictures of Quistis from magazines and newspaper interviews, or frame her TT card.

What he does care about is shit like this, where she's penned in by a bunch of her little fanclub members, who are both dumb as rocks, and lack any skill at flirting to begin with.

If you're gonna hit on someone like Quistis Trepe, you'd better have the ability to follow through.

She's very patient. (She puts up with too much shit, in his opinion; Quis ought to just laser eye the whole lot of them.)

Quistis can't help the snort as half the group around her shrieks. She rolls her eyes, unsure if it's at them or at Seifer. "If it's wholesale murder, would I have to pay you?"

She's in a mood today, sue her. The balcony isn't good enough for half the pickup lines she just endured, it needs to be worse. She can't ACTUALLY condone murder, but perhaps her thinking about it will make them all reconsider. Or, they could be like Seifer, and think it's a turn-on, who knows?

Man, it's cool and all if you see a metaphor for marginalisation in the monstrous, and if you want the power fantasy of 'what if you could just eat anybody who threatened you/pissed you off'. Me too.

However, as soon as you start saying 'no, these monsters are a 1:1 on Specific Marginalised Group, and you have to treat them in the fiction like they are directly representative of real human members of the marginalised group', BUT you also, in the fiction, make them hurt/kill/eat humans? And then try to shame me, your audience, for noticing or engaging with the bit where they kill people, because you made them directly representative of a real-world marginalised group? You have lost me, and also, I think, the plot.

but horror's a dick so everytime dust wants to smoke and he needs a light horror's always like "whats the password :3" (he actually said the emoticon i was the quotation marks) and dust has to guess. because horror changes it every time. and its never something predictable. and then he either just totally gives up on that cig or he has to forcefully dig into horror's head to get the lighter because horror's being a PRICK

Very interesting to me that Abigail preferred Hannibal over Will, but Will had an emotional connection to her that Hannibal didn't - or at least not to the same extent.

I think maybe one day he could've found a stronger bond considering she had also killed and eaten people, but during the series she's really just a tool. Hannibal uses her to like... babytrap Will. And tbf it worked, Will didn't tell Jack what he knew when he discovered Abigail murdered that guy - if he was willing to cover for her, maybe eventually he'd cover for Hannibal too, the 3 of them too intrinsically tied for him to separate, I mean that's the trapping part. But she was just a means to an end, a relationship Hannibal nurtured for his own gain with Will....whereas Will really did view her as his daughter.

Very interesting to me...off-put by Will (especially towards the end of s1), but he had the most vested interest in her well-being out of the pair...

【ｂａｋｕｇｏ　ｋａｔｓｕｋｉ】

This man is solid. The only squish on him is his pecs (He doesn't even correct his friends when they call 'em tits, he's proud of it). He's 6'2 (188cm), not a giant but a decent height to tower over the rest of Japan. His arms and shoulders are broad, tapering down into a slim waist. His hands are large and calloused, veins on his forearms visibly winding into them. He widens back out around his ass and thighs, but they hold nowhere near the power of his upper body. He relies on that area completely for his fighting style and it shows. There's a subtle V line into his pelvis, paired with a trail of fine blond hair that he prefers to shave. Having extra body hair under his suit can be uncomfortable, especially when he works hours upon hours without breaks. He added an undercut to his style during his second year of UA for a similar reason and has kept it ever since. Most of his height comes from his torso and his legs are an average length. Though his thighs are nothing to laugh at, the muscles are impressive even for their lither shape. His scent is something reminiscent of gun smoke and a new car. He prefers baggier clothes, not aiming to draw attention when he's not in uniform. He's sexiest in black and he fuckin' knows it. His lobes are stretched to 18mm, and he has an industrial on his left ear. His nipples are pierced as well "Because fuck you."

【ｍｉｎａ　ａｓｈｉｄｏ】

She's taller than most of her female colleagues, 5'9 (175cm). With long legs and killer muscles, her lower half carries most of the weight during her hero work. Her muscle build and workouts are similar to that of a hockey player, with her go-to fighting move being to skate on a wave of acid. She has strong abs, helping to keep her balance when she's on unstable ground. She's an absolute powerhouse in the gym, out-squatting most of her coworkers. Her sidekicks love goading the fresh UA interns to challenge her to a spar. Her fingers are long and calloused, and when she's on a break from hero work she always has a set of nails on. Her arms are smaller, but nothing to scoff at. She focuses on fighting and boxing to train them, rather than bulking up. She smells like whatever gum she's currently chewing and she prefers Japanese street style clothes. She has basically every ear piercing you can think of, plus her nipples and naval. Her hairstyle has remained basically the same since school, although occasionally she'll buzz the sides during the warmer months.

【ｍｉｄｏｒｉｙａ　ｉｚｕｋｕ】

The shortest, densest, thickest man for miles (possibly galaxies). Topping out at 5'4 (163cm). His fighting style relies mostly on his legs and arms meaning his thighs alone could crush twenty men. He loves to attach himself to people like a bodybuilding koala as a greeting. He was blessed with monster calf genes, they tripled in size during his time at UA. His arms aren't quite as impressive as his legs but don't underestimate them. With the power of OFA, he can easily punch a villain into space. The hottest part about him, though? His confidence. His debut as a pro hero also kicked off his modeling career. Instead of curling in on himself, he announces his presence loudly. He fanboys without shame and flexes for his fans when they ask. He loves showing off his strength, picking his friends up at every opportunity, and carrying them around without breaking a sweat. His undercut and controlled curls help lessen his naïve appearance, though his freckled cheeks and forest-green eyes remain filled with boyish charm. He smells like coffee and old spice. He loves his dumb graphic tees, but his manager forces him into reasonable clothes when he attends events. He's famous for one suit in particular that frames his ass perfectly.

【ｏｃｈａｋｏ　ｕｒａｒａｋａ】

Short, thick, and stronger than you. At 5'2 (157cm) she can (and has) take on dozens of enemies at once with ease. Without her her quirk she's capable of lifting triple her body weight, and her back muscles make Bakugo jealous. Her thighs are capable of crushing basically anything you can put between them, and she regularly offers to open watermelons because it flusters everyone watching. Villains have taken one look at her and fled, she is that powerful. She's an anxious nail-biter and her cuticles are always messed up. Nail polish doesn't last an hour on her. She opted for a shorter haircut after second year, though her longer bangs remain with her signature style. She loves athleisure wear and can be found wearing leggings and muscle tanks 90% of the time. Rarely does she attend events she's forced to dress up for. Her stomach is soft and she has a naval piercing with a small planet charm dangling off of it that she never changes. She smells like flowers and rain.

【ｔｏｄｏｒｏｋｉ　ｓｈｏｕｔｏ】

One of the tallest in the former Class A, he stands at 6'5 (196cm), although Bakugo claims that's inaccurate. His muscles are lean and lengthy. His fighting style mimics Mina's, and his build is similar to that of a figure skater or swimmer. His abs are envied by all of Japan, and his V-line was the sexual awakening of millions. The carpet does, in fact, match the drapes, not that he advertises it. He grew his hair out after UA, and prefers to wear it loose or french braided down his back. His thighs and calves are lankier, and he focuses his workouts on speed and endurance rather than weightlifting. He's definitely the model of the group. Effortlessly handsome although his style is that of a 14-year-old boy. His stylist regularly steals the cargo shorts from his house, but he just buys more. He owns at least 30 v-neck t-shirts in every color he can find. His redeeming style quality is his hero suit, which was finally swapped out when he debuted to a more sleek design. He smells like a campfire in a snowstorm, more of one or the other depending on which side of him you're standing on. He has no piercings but several tattoos that his costume covers.

okay, so i know this is a million years late, BUT we're just going to act like i just posted that post about how i believe barton would actually come to peace with death rather quickly in the event that he was dying okok / j [ahahhh, i'm just messing around with you all (': but anyways, allow me to get back into talking about it; like i'm sure you all are reading this for LOL]

nahhh, but i honestly was working on this for a little bit longer than i thought because i wanted time to really try to explain my thought process the best i could, you know? because that is not the kind of thing that people would probably expect from a villain character... though, with good reason, of course. and the fact that barton is actually afraid of dying does make it a little more unexpected, in my humble opinion. however, i promise that everything about this will make sense by the time i'm done explaining it.

so, no matter the scenario, i've always seen barton as a character who's very stubborn and who's resolve and/or goal to 'fix' as many people as he can is the right one most if not all the time. this is, of course, due to a variety of factors: one being that this sort of ideology was introduced to barton at a young age, and he never learned how to 'break out of it' so-to-speak (though he knew it was harmful). another one is that he's been exposed to a lot of terrible sights over the years and believes that humanity isn't inherently good, like batman, for example.

no. i'd say that barton is much more pessimistic and tends to expect the worst out of people automatically. as a result, this has kind of implemented the delusion upon him that 'well, if everyone's already bad anyways, then who's to say that these people don't in some way maybe deserve it?' so yeah. that second thing is a lot to unpack there on its own, i believe, but that is the general basis of what kind of character he is.

but here comes the double-layered part of it: barton had never wanted for his life to turn out this way, with him self-sabotaging and hurting people all throughout it. he sees 'normal' people after all, especially those who are happy and often becomes jealous of what they have, in fact. barton had fallen into the unfortunate trap of growing up in a household that praised him for hurting people... and when he was introduced to winslow, it felt like he'd gotten whiplash because he was nothing like wesley.

he couldn't break out of that terrible way of thinking, but of course, one can't blame everything on their past and must take responsibility for what they're doing. barton in this scenario of dying chose to go down a path of becoming a god damn serial killer just like his father; effectively becoming similar to him in some ways even though he didn't want to. and at his time of dying, i think that barton would have this moment of clarity that is a bit complex, but that i'll try to explain the best i can here.

this would be that he hasn't done any 'good' in his life much, if at all, but in the event that barton had time to spend before he died and was aware he would... he could do one good thing, and that would be to — although this wouldn't even begin to make up for everything he put them through, barton wouldn't be expecting that or their forgiveness — make his kids promise to break that cycle of violence in their family because they could still make something good of themselves.

they'd still have their whole life ahead of themselves, after all. barton wouldn't be claiming that it'd be easy or anything like that, but he'd want for them to be able to live a simple life like he secretly wanted to. and it'd be alright if they only thought of barton once in a while, or even never again because he knows that what he's done to them can't be undone. but the thing about death is that it makes you realize stuff like what you put out into the world is what you'll get back; and you have to do this life right, because you only get to live it once.

so, yeah, he wouldn't have any unreasonable expectations that he'd be making up with them or act like he's a saint now because he's doing this. but he could at least do this one thing for them after an adjustment period because facing your own mortality is probably scary, as i can imagine.

and it'd make anyone really think about what they want their legacy to be. and does barton want his to be his kids continuing the family business by killing people + thus condemning themselves to a life of staying awake late at night, just like him, thinking about what could've been? no, though it might take him some time to realize that, too.

now, if barton was dying suddenly and didn't have much time to do anything, then things would be very different. if any of his kids were present for it, then he'd tell them not to cry and that they'll be okay without him. probably better, actually, because barton believes he's never been the 'nurturing' type. but he'd ask them to grant a request for him and that would be to live the rest of their life/lives in a way that they could be proud of. with anyone else, i think that barton would come to peace with it by saying that he's done a lot of things he regrets (again, a moment of clarity) but one of the best things he ever did was have his kids.

so, telling them to pass on a message for him that he loves them and accepting it because he's just caused suffering + as well felt like he'd been suffering for a good portion of his life, so maybe it was just... time for him to move on? that'd be the way he'd react to that. which is... yeahhh, it's got a little bit of a kick to it, but once again; complexity is basically barton's middle name and he's not going to expect anyone to treat him any differently for doing this.

even in death, i don't think barton would want pity and would likely laugh at himself for thinking this would 'never happen to him,' as a matter of fact. but he would be genuinely calm and sentimental in a way that's very rare for him. so, yeah.

this was one long ass analysis, but if you made it to the bottom, i want to say that i appreciate you and love you to the bottom of my heart MUAHHH!! y'all are amazing and i just want to say RPing with my moots on here is always a blast for me 🩷 plus, i'm so honored that you're interested in my probably overcomplicated (LOL i kiddd, but IDK. he might be) OC that i made based off of a comic book batman villain that's appeared in like... two batman comics, haha. it really makes my heart happy.
