This dude (Polites) really went through a ten year war and:
1. decided that life isn’t a battlefield
2. deliberately chose peace, then
3. died during a round of deadly whack-a-mole
The gods didn’t like his hope for a world of peace and harmony ig

I’ve not seen anyone talk about Julia Belmont yet which is crazy because,, she looks like this?! My honest reaction seeing her on screen was “damn boy that’s your mommy??” Can she be my mommy too? She’s stunning. I want her so bad rip tho queen

It’s never overstated to me when people are like “work out bc it makes you feel better” bc it literally does. I think what I used to get hung up on is making the perfect schedule / wanting to know what I was doing right away. But it’s also okay to flounder at first and experiment w things and figure out what works for you and your body. The important thing is you’re starting out bc your body really will thank you for it later down the line. You cannot keep pushing it off it will add up

I think it’s crazy actually that people think it’s impossible for Chuuya to trick Fyodor without Fyodor having to be dumber for it. Especially when a popular theory was that after the drowning Chuuya had begun faking it, why is it so hard to believe he’d just been faking it the entire time?
This doesn’t even touch on how it’s been SUCH a LOUD point throughout mersault that Fyodor has hugely underestimated Soukoku. So, by obvious extension that would include Chuuya too if not more so than Dazai seeing as he insinuated multiple times that Chuuya was Dazai’s tool rather than equal partner.

one thing i’ve been thinking about recently is sometimes things are just out of our control. we can try to change, fix or fight these uncontrollable forces that are sent our way but sometimes we just physically cannot do anything - and that’s okay. it’s okay that somethings can’t be changed, or fixed, or fought, and that’s completely fine! not having all the necessary cards or puzzle pieces to help complete the puzzle just means you’ll find them later in life
