Guys in the first buggy arc his head flies across the screen after a Chop Chop Quick Escape and he looks right at the camera and says "buggy desu~~" in this high pitched hilarious cutesy voice
Anyway what I'm trying to impress upon you once again is that Jeff Ward understood the assignment
dude is doing some homage for sure. definitely pulling on strings of previous giants like... some mix between Jim Carrey's the Mask and Heath Ledger's Joker with some Pennywise the Clown flare in addition to COMPLETELY groking the fundamental sopping wet cringefail of Buggy himself.
round of applause, mvp, sorry he terrorized the dash but it's very in character that everyone blocked him immediately
I know I KNOW I'm so late but like. I had to do something for it. Here are some words about my experience with this amazing game:
Omori oh my god Omori. This game changed my life without meaning to I swear. It happened one fateful day because I just saw some friends in a vc, and then decided to pop in just to check out what they were doing, and lo and behold they were playing Omori. I was invited to voice Kel, this was during and after the Aubrey fight, and I was sucked in.
Ever since then, it has never left my mind. This game haunts me in all good ways. Its story and characters and music and game design and contents and just everything has stuck itself into my psyche and I don't want it to leave. It has given me some of THE most memorable moments with my friends, moments I'll keep with me forever.
Sometimes I wish I could relive those moments, playing Omori with friends without any knowledge, oblivious and intrigued about its story, with all the ups and downs. Then it always hits me that we already finished it.
But then I remember, I finished it..... with my friends. And I think.... No. No we didn't- we didn't finish it. We played it. We experienced it. Together. And like the game taught us, we have memories of that. Our memories! And I'm happy it happened, I'm happy I experienced it. Experienced it with my friends. But now.... Let's make some new memories together, okay?
Who made the hashtag actuallyautistic? I can’t trace it down
This is a great question. Alyssa Hillary Zisk gives an account of it here.
"The short version is that the autism tag was and is an unsafe place for many autistic people because folks didn't get that autistic people were following and reading and might be capable of having opinions on what we were reading, the actuallyautistic/ actually autistic tags are safer for some autistic people, and thus they exist."
It seems like #acutallyDD (developmentally disabled) originated around the same time, possibly predating it. There's also a Dreamwidth community started in 2012 called Actually Autistic. Not sure if there's any relation, but it's worth noting.
Shout out to all the Black ppl that can no longer participate directly in the fandom they love because of the stresses of racism 👍🏾 you contain multitudes of value and I'm sorry that the color of your skin and the power of your voice makes people not want to acknowledge that.
stop using chatgpt!!!! take a bronze pin and carve your questions onto an ox scapula, then toss it into the fire!!!! use the cracks to divine the gods answer!!!!
see 0 note flop posts aren't that bad when they're personal but 0 note fandom posts feel literally so bad. like if you don't wanna play toys with me anymore just say that. i'll pack up my super cool awesome things and go and i'll sit on the other side of the playground by myself and i won't even look at you. fuck
my friend told me that her boyfriend got her a super cool rock while they were on vacation together and you would not BELIEVE my disappointment when i realized she was talking about her engagement ring
if you opened discord’s april fools day loot boxes how long did it take you to get all the items? it took my friend 18 boxes but me 65 and i want to see how bad my luck is
because here's the thing here's the thing the question was not "would you be more surprised to run into a fairy or a walrus" the question was "would you be more surprised to find a fairy or a walrus AT YOUR DOOR" and while no, i do not believe in fairies and would be surprised to know they EXIST i would NOT be surprised to find one at my door. HOWEVER, if a WALRUS shows up at my door i have to contend with the fact that a walrus somehow made it to my apartment specifically and knocked on my door for god knows what reason. i would be more surprised to know that a fairy EXISTS, of course, but NOT that they're at my door, do you get me?
was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fаndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.
to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:
kabru is like a guy who lost his entire family in a highly traumatic car accident. years later he joins a discord server and takes note of laios, another server member who seems interesting, so they start chatting. then laios reveals his special interest and favorite movie of all time is David Cronenberg's Crash (1996), and invites kabru to go watch a demolition derby with him
