And then make sure you show the proper gratitude.  No matter how big you get, there’s always someone bigger.  They can help you, or hurt you, and they’ll eat their own no matter how proper English you think you are, so always do what you can to make sure they help you.  You understand me?

Didn't want to reblog the whole long post where this was at the end of it, but this idea is so fucking out of touch with reality.

What people categorize as "mockery" is often people fighting against dangerous misinformation, like anti-vax bullshit. Or attempts to show the truth. But it's seen as mockery because it's not pandering to the conspiracy theorist's world view.

The original post had a bunch of screenshots of some guy saying that conspiracy theorists are "scientists gone awry." But this ignores a fundamental aspect of the conspiracy mindset, especially in regards to flat earthers. They are at their core anti-science to the point that they often refuse to do any experiments while yelling "do your own research". And by research they mean watch other like-minded youtubers. On the rare occasion they do just a modicum of research that produces results they don't like, they make excuses.

For example, the podcast Oh No Ross and Carrie went out on a lake with a big group of flat earthers to run a pretty standard experiment. I believe they ran this on the Salton Sea. First they tried the simple way, having people with binoculars look out over the long distance of the lake to show that you couldn't see the bottom of the houses. The flat earthers climbed onto an embankment to bring them back into view, insisting that disproved the curve. So they went through with rigging up a boat with a series of flags to mark vertical distance and sailed off across the lake. When the first flag disappeared, the flat earthers claimed refraction and refused to accept anything else.

Mark Sargent and his cronies set up the classic experiment of 2 people a set distance apart and shining a light through a hole in the board. They refused to accept the results.

A vast majority of the especially loud conspiracy theorists think "just look at it" is evidence enough. Or "it looks like [x]" as proof they're right. Like the moon and the sun "look like" they're the same size, therefore they are the same size. Or the sun "looks like" it moves across the sky, therefore it's a projection or on a track.

If your cousin or sibling or friend or what have you is pushing this nonsense, sure, empathy is a good route there. But on a large scale, it needs to be addressed head on and debunked at every possible step.

If you want to see mockery, look at conspiracy theorist responses to people's respectful responses to their own nonsense. One debunker I enjoy watching is Creaky Blinder. Yes, he's sarcastic and pokes fun at some things, but it's to highlight just how ridiculous some of this nonsense is. Kent Hovind responds to him frequently, mocking him and calling him "Creepy" and making fun of his tattoos. Some guy named Expat Taffy flings so many insults there's a running insult counter on the video. Taffy keeps insisting that Creaky refuses to debate him and calling Creaky a coward for it, while Creaky keeps showing that Taffy is outright deleting comments trying to set up a debate.

But that's all about the moderately benign conspiracy theorists like flat earthers. They're spreading misinformation but that theory alone is generally harmless (unless they're like that piece of shit that harassed Buzz Aldrin and demanded he "admit" he never went to the moon and got punched for it).

Most other conspiracies are actually dangerous to real people. Anti-vaxxers get people, especially their own children, killed. Covid deniers who coughed in people's faces and licked random things exposed vulnerable people to a fatal virus. There's people pushing ideas like drinking bleach and worse.

One that's especially insidious is the "transvestigators". People who think being trans is this huge conspiracy and almost everyone but themselves are trans, and they analyze photos for "gender markers" to prove it. Not just celebrities, but anyone.

The problem is these all overlap. Someone isn't JUST a flat-earther. They end up buying into more dangerous ideologies along the way. One that comes to mind is Hans Wormhat (yes, that's the name he chose to use). He's a flat earther who insists everything is fake. Including animals. His proof is always "just look at it, that's not real." Then in a video about "proof" of the flat earth, he slips in a comment after something with "trans" comes up, like "There's that word again." Just a subtle thing. Until you dig deeper and discover he thinks trans people are trying to take over the world.

"Show them empathy not mockery" is such a fucking false dichotomy. And it reeks of "I thought you were supposed to be tolerant of everyone." You can (and should) fight misinformation without mockery. It's simple enough, just don't include statements calling the person a moron, no matter how much you want to. Stick to objective facts. They will still read it as mockery or a personal insult and have a complete meltdown over it, but that's on them.

Above all else, do not tolerate the intolerant, because they will walk all over you.

Undisclosed amount xD I've put a bunch on anon, especially from fandoms I'm not active in anymore (lbr, mostly Endeavour). Publically, it's 26 rn.

2. What's your total ao3 word count?

212040!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Elisabeth, hopefully in the future Tanz der Vampire (I've been thinking about it for like five years), in the past Endeavour (TV).

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

They're all Endeavour because those are older and in a (slightly) bigger fandom... Unfortunately I think they're not the best ones I've written, a lot of them were when I was 18 (no offense to 18 year olds) and had just started writing fanfic ajajjjd. Which is why the top 5 are on anon except for one LOL. I really do think kudos doesn't tend to accumulate "correctly" xD People like familiar tropes and time of posting also affects it, there are many fics of mine I consider "underrated"

My top five kudosed Elisabeth fics are: black as the earth (shortened title), Flights of Angels (todolf longfic), Dominion, Midnight Man & Starwalk. tbh deserved...

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes, I try to respond to every single one of them so people will hopefully comment in the future too, especially if they're kind, funny or thought-provoking!!! However, I delete them if I don't like them or they're weird, boundary-crossing or TMI ahdjfjjf (has happened a handful of times - the joys of writing explicit stuff lol. PSA: do not tell fic authors about your sexual activities in the comments, i do not consent...)

6. What's the fic you wrote that has the angstiest ending?

I often do bittersweet, or "sweet but also has Implications" >:] Oh and I guess there's a lot of them where Rudolf dies at the end... I think the actual angstiest might be No Forevers (Endeavour fic) even though nobody dies in that one. Though I ruined it by writing a sequel to it, after the showrunner wrote one of the characters back into the show after like 10 years xD In my defense, this wasn't my idea!!!

7. What's the fic you wrote that has the happiest ending?

Beams of Morning (Endeavour). I retconned one of my own DIY bittersweet endings whoops... 🤣🤣😭 It's sappy, even, but maybe that's allowed. For elisabeth it's Flights of Angels because the happiest happy endings are ones that feel deserved.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No - I've gotten hate for my headcanons/meta and my video essays though (never to my face ;D) which can be fic adjacent. I guess it's because there's a better tagging system with fic, like, people won't be exposed to stuff they don't want to see as readily as with tumblr and youtube etc. And people also know how to leave other ppl alone!! Ajdjjfjf

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes. The unpleasantly sexy kind 👀

10. Do you write crossovers?

Noooo, I don't really read them either. The kinds of crossovers I like are the ones that are crossovers "in name only"; ie. setting or tropes lifted from one work, characters/cast from another. Wildly incongruent characters showing up in each other's universes and interacting etc doesn't fit into my suspension of disbelief most of the time 😭

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Luckily no!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but I once helped someone translate theirs into English, which was cool. Oh, and recently I've been asked for permission to translate at least one of my fics - I hope it happens because it's always an honor!! >:]

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I've collaborated on series, but I haven't co-written stuff on a deeper level. I think I'm too much of a control freak to get into it ajsdjjf, I can do stuff inspired by other people and am happy if my stuff inspires other people, but if I need to agree on plot/characterisation with someone consistently I don't think it'd work out, since no two people have identical takes and preferences with stories and characters.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

For around 2.5 years it's been todolf, it captures a lot of stuff I've liked in fiction for a longer time already >:D I can't really say whether it will be the Ship of a Lifetime for me... I mean it did make me move countries (as one reason of a few) but if someone asked me in the summer of 2016 I would've probably said [checks ao3 reading history] um. h*milton x j*fferson... so like. IT CHANGES A LOT OK ajajsjdj

15. What's a wip you want to finish, but don't think you ever will?

I don't want to doom any of my current wips to the graveyard!!!!!! I am having worries about the fate of my todolf swan lake modern ballet au fic though. The original draft outline is complete but it doesn't really fit my character interpretations for tod or rudolf anymore, it's from january 2022... Idk maybe I can one day rework it somehow with different characterisations ajsjdjf but yeah mostly it's interesting concepts haphazardly tied together but no coherent plot

16. What are your writing strengths?

Imagination/coming up with ideas, metaphors, descriptions (usually), grammar and syntax, writing crown prince rudolf really well (XDD), rhythm/pacing (usually), the way it Sounds (my brain sometimes fixates on phonetics randomly because after all, English is not my first language, and sometimes there'll be like, a really pleasing/satisfying combination of sounds in smth I think to write and I think I'm good at picking up on that, like how it flows and sounds. Idk if those preferences are universal though or if it's just me writing what I think sounds pleasing)

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing varied characters, writing varied speech patterns/"character voice" also in narration, vocabulary.... I am but a humble English as a second technically third language speaker,,,, (i'm doing an english language grad school degree rn lol so i think i'm no worse than natives, not humble abt this actually, but i'm on the level of like. a not so well-read native speaker. Because most actual fiction literature I've read in my life has been in Finnish, in English I've just read academic literature, fanfic and like 10 books max! I need to read more and become a better writer ahhdhhdhf)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

No... Dialogue is a big no from me, it often feels cringe ngl ajsjdjdj. My personal philosophy is "if you need a translator's note for people to understand what's going on, don't put it in" 😅 A lot of the time different languages are also used in fic in nonsensical ways where it will look ok to a lot of people but bother the hell out of native speakers/ppl who speak the language. This is smth that can technically be done well but it's usually not aksldlldd. I think pet names and individual words can be fine but it needs to be done in moderation... I also obsess a lot over research, like, the nuances of the word need to actually mean what the author thinks it means :'D

19. First fandom you wrote for?

First published for Endeavour, first wrote for H*rry P*tter... (never-to-be-published fan comics and little stories as a young kid, like 8 years old).

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Right now it's vers l'onde souterraine... ;) I think I'm constantly improving as a writer and hopefully every fic will be better than the last!!

I think you've come from other social media platforms where the crazy SnC fangirls ate you alive for your opinion, was it the Twitter crowd? or the tiktok crowd? I find their usually the most aggressive in their defences of their heroes. Reason I say this is you seem very aggressive and defensive in all your responses which suggests you've been attacked a lot, either that or you yourself are very young and reactive when people challenge your opinion. Plus you keep saying you don't care for other peoples responses yet the fact you respond to them all in a very aggressive manner suggests you do in fact care maybe far more than you'd like to say. Anyway, despite the fact you'll probably give me an aggressive response (if you choose to respond at all) I've a response to your accusations.

I really do not think SnC are involved in the scam, I fully believe they have been duped and used. Reasons? well we'll start small, reason one is because their reactions were very genuine and as much as I love them I'm gonna say they aren't that good actors. If they were in on it the whole time they need to be given an oscar for their top notch performance there.

But the bigger point number two is if you were right and they are in on it, they are risking their entire careers, the minute it's proven and it will be proven one way or the other eventually that's their whole life on the line (because the truth always comes out)

if it's proven to be fake and they were in on it that's their whole career and money gone, they are still young at 26 (that's still practically babies career wise) and they have long careers ahead of them, so it's highly unlikely they would do something that would destroy their credibility and any chance of continuing their career.

Point number 3, their families would not be OK with either Sam or Colby using their dead relatives for clout. Colby's entire family is very private and despise the camera, they're also highly religious. If Colby were in on the scam he'd probably be risking his relationship with his entire family as they would absolutely not be OK with using their dead family members for clout and considering how close he is with them (especially his mother) I do not see him doing that.

Sam's family though more open to being on camera are also fairly private and I cannot see his respectable parents or even his siblings being OK with them using their precious grandmother for clout, he'd also probably be risking his family relationships and I don't see him doing that considering how close he is with them.

Point number 4, I do not believe they would invite people to try and debunk the method if they knew 100 percent that it was fake. That would be a career destroying move to make as it would eventually come out and as mentioned earlier, completely destroy their credibility, removing all future opportunities and rendering them has beens with no future. They are not stupid, they've been in the media game for years, they would know that if they did this they can effectively say bye bye to their careers so they would not make that move.

Also people aren't being silenced, there are debates on this very topic literally across all social media atm and time and time again it's pointed out that any deleted comments are the algorithms on these sites removing suspicious messages (mostly any messages with links) or suspicious words. (or even reported by other members on these sites)

Sam and Colby are barely online on any social media these days as well so do you really think they have the time or desire to scroll through 1000's of comments erasing people? They've both even said they don't read the comments on their SnC Youtube anymore cos they can't handle it. Yes they might have a team member scrolling through and erasing the most negative comments, but every youtube channel deletes that because too much negativity on a video causes 'down votes' which can lead to a video being taken down or to be demonetised.

But if you scroll through their youtube comments section (I just did right now) there are replies on both sides debating the method on every single video. So no one's being silenced, the comments being erased either took it too far (likely got overly aggressive or offensive kinda like you in your responses to people) or fell into the Youtube algorithms trap.

Anyway, this became kinda long and I'm sorry about that but that's my 2 cents to the debate you said you did not want but seem intent on having with people since you keep responding, lol. So if you are down to debate, respond, if not don't. But if you keep making comments on a public forum don't be surprised when people engage you. Especially here. If you don't want to debate (or argue, a lot of the fandom are minors and will come pick a fight just cos you insult their babies), maybe don't tag the fandom in your posts.

I don't use twitter, tiktok, instagram so no, and I'm more than likely older than you.

I'm not surprised people are engaging, I'm surprised they're intentionally blind in my opinion. No one forbids you to say your peace and engage here. I'm just saying I'm not bothered by what people label me as and what they think of me, which keeps getting brought up. I don't know why is that such a hard concept to grasp, not giving value to random internet strangers' opinions of you. Anon asked for evidence didn't they? Based on evidence so far, I think things are fishy, i explained why and that's it.

Career destroying move would be to out the power couple as even possible frauds given Satori's connections in the community through her dad. SnC can't come out with that because it would ruin them.

Kween Kong responds to Drag Race Global All Stars backlash

Kween Kong has issued a statement and apologised after copping criticism online over a detail in her RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars entrance look.

The new Drag Race spinoff premiered on Friday night (August 16). Kween is one of 12 queens from around the world who returned.

The Drag Race Down Under queen walked the new show’s first runway in a frock that mixed the Aboriginal, Australian and New Zealand flags.

But as visuals of Kween’s frock circulated online, the use of the Aboriginal flag upside down angered some First Nations performers.

First Nations drag queen Felicia Foxx took aim at Kween Kong’s outfit in a lengthy Instagram post.

“If your gonna wear the flag on your dress to represent my people then wear it correctly the right way up,” Felicia wrote.

“I’d like to know who gave you this blessing because this to me is meaning a country in distress. It definitely doesn’t have my blessing!

“ESPECIALLY IF YOUR ON A WORLDWIDE INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM REPRESENT MY FLAG AND MY PEOPLE THE RIGHT WAY!”

Sadly, Kween Kong responded to Felicia on social media with now-deleted comments that Kween later admitted were “harmful and inappropriate”.

‘Communities in distress’ during Voice vote

In another post today, Kween Kong explained the look further.

“To be there first person of colour from the Asia Pacific region to represent our nations globally through Ru Paul’s Global Allstars, is a huge honour,” the queen wrote.

“I wanted to ensure I was able to do this in a creative and political way.”

Kween clarified that Global All Stars filmed in the middle of the First Nations Voice to Parliament referendum last year.

“The dress was inspired by the reality of the state of our countries down under. The dress included the aboriginal, Australian, New Zealand flags,” she wrote.

“So a part of the reasoning behind the Aboriginal flag and other flags being portrayed upside down, was to show my representation of communities in distress during this time and to hopefully create some conversation around this,” Kween wrote.

She said, “As a proud queen of colour I have always been grateful to represent my culture, the Pasifika community and the International BIPOC communities in everything that I do.”

‘We should be celebrating’

First Nations leader and performer Ben Graetz, who performs as drag alter ego Miss Ellaneous, said the online spat was “upsetting and heartbreaking”.

“When I saw Kween Kong’s entrance outfit it took my breath away,” Ben said.

“As a well constructed couture outfit it truly deserves an applause in terms of its craftsmanship, creativity, quality and style.

“Was the Aboriginal flag upside down YES but do I feel Kween deliberately did this to offend mob NO. What I saw a beautiful made gown that represented her and ‘Down Under’.

“This is a moment in time when we should be celebrating the fact that a person of colour from Down Under is on the global stage right now and wanting to showcase all of our beautiful diversities, stories and backgrounds.

Oh god I really can't choose. There are so many ships with great dynamics that I absolutely love. I have explained before what my top 5 or 10 favorite ships are in the past

probably Late Night Talking or Mackem Flings I kinda lost interest in both of those so I doubt I'll be finishing them anytime soon.

I think Im really good at characterization, showing feelings, mood and descriptions of objects and people. It's probably bc I kinda over analyze things LMAO

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

some specific figurative language stuff is what I struggle with like the Show don't tell rule, I also tend to ask lots of questions about my writing if Im even slightly unsure about one thing or the other in my writing

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I've done it a few times and I really like it. To me it makes the characters feel more human and dynamic. I don't speak many languages so I usually get another person or a good translator tool to check me.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Oh GOD you guys are gonna ridicule me when I say this but it was a youtube group called the Derp Crew

I've written so much good stuff in the past few months and stuff that's a really hard question for me. Right now I really love Arsenal Camp(an arsenal centered fic with ships), Home is Between Your Arms was also super fun and I really liked the Alltober oneshot I did with Andy and Mo

Don't feel sorry for not responding immediately! =) I had a lot to add and ask + real life always comes first so I'm not upset about it. Plus, my response is also going to be super long (And I hope it's not super annoying for you, but I have more questions to ask since you seem to know a lot about cut scenes from the movie!)

First, thank you for that explanation about the fanart/ concept art differences! =D I'm truthfully really honored and happy to have an animation tutor comment on my post haha. And yeah, I can see why the concept art and visual development wouldn't aim for the complete finished screenshot look (especially for this film considering its budget).

Although it sucks to see that the artist isn't easy to track down. I'm going to guess that those fan pieces are probably pretty old, (maybe they've been up since at least the 2010s?) so perhaps there might be some old accounts still up... maybe a DeviantArt profile or something similar.

Secondly, yay! I'm so happy that I got confirmation about those pencil tests but I'm sad that it's apparently lost media now... =( I got the first screen shot from Ken Duncan's Instagram, but he didn't post the full scene. I tried looking on his Facebook a few times too but had no luck there (I might look through it again later to triple check).

And if you have the time and energy, I'd love to see what you can find on your DVD! => No rush, though.

Lastly, yes! I was referring to the alternate Bones and Jim meeting scene. I actually found a recording of a complete overview of the 2003 DVD copy (which also includes just a couple more seconds of that alternate scene, but it still cuts off before the joke!) I found a screencap of what I think is the last few seconds of that scene.

And now here's the part where I want to ask more questions:

Since we're on the topic of missing scenes/ possible lost media, I wanted to ask if you've also seen these screenshots before? I found these on that same wiki I found the fanart (and also on a lost media wiki), but these look a lot more official.

According to those wikis, these are stills from when Jim is blamed for Arrow's death and the crew walk away from him.

This from an extended version of Scroop confronting Silver, where he eats the fruit that he grabbed from the barrel.

This was a cut part where Delbert calls out to Jim. I'm not sure when this would've happened, maybe after Jim follows Morph or before Amelia and Delbert shoot the cables?

And finally, this screencap. I thought this might be another alternate scene, but it could just be an edited screencap made for promotional purposes, which there are quite a lot of online.

However, the previous 3 screencaps look like legit animation cels so I'm hoping there are more missing scenes out there that haven't been found yet. I hope these are real and not promotional stills or fake screenshots.

And here's a couple of other cut scenes I wanted to share in case you haven't already seen them/ they're those other pencil tests you mentioned being on the DVD: one is a rough animation of Jim and Delbert when they reach the space port with alternate dialogue + a screenshot of what looks like a more finished version of this scene. This is all I have found so far... I really hope there's more of this scene somewhere.

and the other is this pencil test by Jin Kim that uses the same audio from the deleted scene where Jim meets Ethan =)

I haven't seen either of these on YouTube anywhere, so I assume these are perhaps less known online.

Corpse listened to his friends shouting at one another to accuse each other of being sus. As usual, there was no use in trying to get a word in. Corpse spoke so softly that no one would even hear him unless they wanted to hear what he was saying.

“(Y/N)!” Toast suddenly exclaimed. “You’re being very quiet right now.”

“Because my damn tube is mixed up in my headphone wires!” (Y/N) exclaimed, sounding like she was far away from her mic. The group chuckled and continued with their conversation about who they thought the imposter was.

(Y/N) was a known Twitch streamer and YouTuber that rose to popularity when she started a series on her YouTube channel to show her journey through cancer treatments. Long before his own sudden boom in popularity, Corpse had watched all of her videos and became invested in her Twitch streams as well. Being someone who also struggled with chronic illness and pain, Corpse felt a sense of hope watching (Y/N) go through her treatment and still seem to optimistic in life and so productive in her YouTube and Twitch channels.

When Toast messaged the Amigops group to ask if anyone wanted to join his Among Us lobby with (Y/N), Corpse jumped at the chance. He hadn’t had much time to speak with her alone, but he was hoping to be able to tell her how much watching her content lifted him up during his worst times.

The meeting ended with no one being voted and brought them back to the office of the Polus map. Since they were playing with proximity chat, the argument from the meeting immediately continued with Rae and Toast warning everyone to stay away from Sean, who they were susing at the second imposter after already voting out Charlie.

Corpse watched (Y/N)’s pink astronaut run out of the office, silent amongst the chaos. He waited a moment before deciding to follow her, hoping he could meet her somewhere alone so he could talk to her.

He ran into O2 and noticed a pink bean in the boiler room stood by the water wheels. He ran in and stood in the doorway a moment before speaking.

“Hello (Y/N).”

“Ah fuck!” (Y/N) exclaimed. “Corpse! Don’t scare me like that!”

Corpse chuckled. “Sorry, I’ll warn you next time.”

“Are you here to kill me?”

“Maybe.”

“I’m okay with that. I feel like being killed by Corpse Husband in Among Us is like a rite of passage at this point.”

Corpse slowly approached (Y/N) to which she quickly ran away from him to the other water wheel. He laughed again before assuring her, “I’m not an imposter, you can trust me.”

“I don’t think I can, but I will choose to trust,” she told him.

“I actually came looking for you because I wanted to talk to you.”

“What did you want to talk about?”

There were so many things running through Corpse’s mind. He just wanted to blurt out everything he had thought about (Y/N) and her story, to thank her for giving him hope, to tell her what an inspiration she was. But his words caught in his throat and he struggled to get anything out.

Finally, he said, “What’s it like trying to be a streamer with your...with the um...”

“The feeding tube?” (Y/N) finished for him. “You can say it, Corpse. It’s not exactly a secret.”

He sighed, glad that she had a joking tone about it. “Yeah, with the feeding tube.”

“It’s annoying,” (Y/N) admitted. “Like...I’m assuming you’ve seen my streams or my videos but for the sake of anyone watching your stream who hasn’t: I have a nasogastric feeding tube, or an NG-tube, which is a feeding tube that goes in through the nose. As cliché as it is, just picture Hazel Grace from the Fault in our Stars. Additional cliché, I have it because I had cancer and the treatments left me so malnourished that I need a feeding tube even after I’ve gone into remission. So, because it’s tubes that are connected in my nose, I keep getting my headphone wires tangled in my tube or, very rarely, my mic wires, and it’s fucking annoying. It hurts like a bitch when I go to stand up and I yank the wires  by accident or something.”

“Does...does anything else hurt? Because of the cancer or the treatment or anything?”

“Not as much as it used to. I went into remission like nearly a year ago, so I’m doing better. It’s a process, but it’s had an amazing outcome in the end so I wouldn’t change a thing.”

“I find you really inspirational,” Corpse finally blurted.

He felt his face heat up with slight embarrassment as (Y/N) giggled. “You do?”

“Yeah. I followed your series about your recovery and I’ve watched some of your livestreams every now and then. What always stood out to me was when you talked about the negative side effects of your treatment, and eventually having to put the feeding tube in and how you’ve found that effects you, too. Being someone with chronic illness and constant pain, I’ve also had those days where it feels like even getting out of bed is too much work and I don’t feel like I can stream or make a video, but then my anxiety tells me that everyone is going to forget about me if I don’t make some type of content, so it’s just an internal struggle when really I should be resting.”

“Being a content creator and having an illness is tough,” (Y/N) agreed. “It feels like you can’t take a day off. I sometimes regret making that series because on days that I felt absolutely awful, I didn’t want to film or edit anything, but I felt like I had to because so many people were watching. Ironically enough, that became the topic of one of those videos; I just sat in front of my camera looking the worst I think I’ve ever looked on camera and talked about how exhausted I felt just from being alive, but felt like I couldn’t rest because of my channel. That’s when I started taking longer breaks between videos and streaming. Your fans won’t leave you, not the true fans anyways. They’ll always be by your side even if you decide to disappear from the Internet forever.”

Corpse half smiled to himself. “I’ve thought about doing that sometimes.”

“It’ll be easy for you to do that where you’re faceless. No one would bother you even after you left the Internet cause they’d have no idea it was you unless you spoke.”

A brief pause in their conversation caused them to hear Sean yelling as he ran past the room. (Y/N) giggled and walked out of the room. Corpse followed, hoping to continue the conversation somewhere else.

“It means a lot to me that you think that about me, though,” (Y/N) continued as she ran into the storage room. “I find you pretty inspirational too.”

This took Corpse by surprise. He didn’t know how to respond. Sure, he heard that all the time from his fans, and it always meant the world to him to know that people found him to be an inspiration, but it felt different to hear that from someone he had looked up to for so long.

“I wish I could’ve been a faceless creator like you,” she said when Corpse didn’t respond. “One of my biggest regrets is probably showing my face online. Although, it wouldn’t make sense for me not to show my face when I’m making a series about cancer treatment, but people can be mean. Even when someone is struggling with illness or a disease, the Internet doesn’t care. Whatever makes them feel better over someone else feeling like shit.”

“I still get a lot of hateful messages even though I’m faceless, though.”

“You do, but you’re so unbothered by it. Publicly anyways. When I get messages about how sickly I look I get so overwhelmed with sadness and I just wanna delete my channel forever. I can’t even fake not caring because it really does effect me.”

“Stick with me, I’ll teach you my ways. My favorite is trolling the troll.”

(Y/N) chuckled. “I’d like that a lot.”

Corpse watched (Y/N)’s pink bean approach his black one. “I’m glad we had this chat, Corpse. It made me really happy, but now it also makes doing this a lot harder.”

Corpse gasped as a kill animation popped up on the screen and (Y/N)’s astronaut quickly disappeared into the nearby vent. He was stunned into silence for a long time, just watching his ghost floating above his dead body. To make matters worse, (Y/N) had closed the door to storage so no one would find his body unless they had to go in there.

Charlie’s ghost floated through the walls and came to float next to Corpse’s. “Figured out Jack wasn’t the other imposter, huh?”

“Yeah,” Corpse said, laughing. “She really had me fooled. Buttered me up with compliments then killed me.”

“I taught her well,” Charlie comments before floating away again.

Corpse couldn’t help but laugh about the situation. He wasn’t mad, more impressed than anything. And he was a little happy; he got to talk to someone that had always been an inspiration to him and he made a new friend.

if you have, oh my god i thought i was alone in experiencing this horrendous novel, but if you havent i really do recommend it.

the writing is so JUVENILE its painful to read, imagine my immortal but with zero edge and thats almost exactly the writing style of the first few chapters. at some points the book gets so insanely hardcore (like lightlark but the violence is somehow even more unnecessary to the plot) but then the mc is reacting to these things with such eloquent phrases such as “OMG” “WTF” and “OW”

the mc, grace ann miller, is (from my memory) newly seventeen and is also the most specialist nephilim to ever exist because she was actually the will of GOD, so that makes her better than the other nephilim.

she falls in love with a Hot Rockstar Fallen Angel™ named gavin who is absolutely not also 17, after he totally didnt kidnap her and when shes eventually saved— i mean ripped away from her one true love by the police— shes deemed INSANE and a victim of stockholm syndome. the entire book is meant to be her giving her police statement which georgia seems to forget for most of the story.

I def didn't delete the comment, I've only deleted 1 spam comment the entire time I've done youtube, but I probably haven't seen it or it got caught somewhere in the web. I TRY to read and respond to every comment or at least like it to show I've read it, but as I get more videos and views that's increasingly hard to do. The name Georgia McBride sounds very familiar but I can't tell why. I have never heard of PRAEFATIO, it doesn't seem very notable or wide spread but you're right in that it looks similar. And sounds bad. And the cover looks.... wrong.

They.... look so wrong. They both look extremely photoshopped and severely uncanny, the girl in particular looks like a doll and honestly, it really really creeps me out. It definitely is going on my list of books to read though because it sounds gloriously bad, and yes, I love angels and bad angel books a lot.
