"...Miran". He glanced around the room one more time, before back at his wife, as though wondering if she could see the same as he was. The twins were barely crawling at the moment, Rai was simply grateful just to have a roof over his head and Strelitzia certainly wasn't expecting the entirety of Santa's Grotto to appear under the tree...yet that was what seemed to have ended up happening here. "...do you think that maybe, just maybe, we might have got a little carried away?". He couldn't put all the blame on her - he had gone a little overboard for the twins, since it was their first Christmas and all - and then there was all the new clothing for Rai since he'd barely anything to his name before Miran took him in...but still. "How are we even going to wrap all this...how have you kept all this hidden...you sure your ability isn't something like dimension storage...?"

"When it got all dark and cold like this, we'd often make offerings to the Golden Witch, praying for warmth and shelter before the winter settled in", Rai explained as he sat on the ground helping Strelitzia untangle some of the fairy lights, at the same time as helping Miran to make sure the twins weren't getting into too much trouble while she overlooked the hotel's decorations - though so far, the most to happen was Eiji trying to eat some of the tinsel. "Did she listen?", Strelitzia asked, frowning as she struggled with one of the more stubborn sections, "I've never really heard you talk about it before now." "Hmm, the lights just reminded me of the candles we used to light...I had a friend who'd go around the entire temple, making sure everyone had their own light...I wonder how he is now". Sighing lightly, he climbed to his feet, picking up the untangled lights he'd been working on, carefully handing them up to Miran, "This place is always so warm and cosy though - so I guess such traditions aren't needed here".

Shirase ran a hand through his hair rather harshly, as though the pressure was going to help to calm down the storm that raged currently within, his gaze narrowing as Chuuya wrapped an arm around Miran and tugged her closer to his side, as though she needed some type of protection. "Oh? You think I'm going to lash out!? I'm not the one with...uncontrollable urges here!" "Of course not", Chuuya sighed lightly. They'd known that breaking this news to Shirase wasn't going to be easiest in the world, but although some type of a reaction was more than expected, this had still shocked him a little, though if he paused to think over things logically, it did make sense that Shirase was as worried as he was...but still. He could at least pretend to be happy...

"...so how is this even going to work? How are we supposed to make sure that Miran gets the help needed and remain hidden? Why...how... GOD - you two couldn't just keep it in your pants!?". He ran his hand once more through his hair, Chuuya sighing lightly. Yip...this was going to be a fun Christmas...for a whole heap of reasons.
