The Wives

who are the wives and why do i keep hearing about them??? fear not, i am here to answer that burning question.

the wives consist of myself, @gilbirda, @herbatahleb, and @precarious-hermit--or Kate, Gil, Hleb, and Mellan as we're knowing in the Batpham Discord Server. it started as a joke, but in the throws of the finals haze, i decide i wanted to get married to my wives in the sims. then, when Mellan was having a bad day i jokingly sent her a snippet of a self-insert fic with the wives in it.

it quickly spiraled and now we're here.

there's a fic now. i don't know how we got here but, here we are.

The Family

the last names Persephone and Hadeson. we were talking about what Greek God everyone in the server would be, and i got Hades because i pretty much snatched Mellan up when i heard she liked Charmed (1998). her being Persephone has nothing to do with the fact that she apparently ate a poisonous flower as a child and lived, but it checks out.

David Hadeson. David is actually my cat who tends to walk all over my keyboard, thus becoming something of a legend in the server. when we made ourselves in the sims we gave him a human-sona, and when planning the fic decided he should be a meta.

Valdislaus Straud. i moved us into the spookiest mansion in the sims and it just so happened to be Vladdy Daddy's house. at first, we were going to kill him, but eventually decided he could be our butler. we decided he should be a talon instead of a vampire in the fic though. it just felt right.

Robin Carson. this may be the weirdest one, and i'm aware how that sounds. but, after much cursed Danny Phantom/Lightning McQueen shenanigans ensued which i will admit i am ground zero for that one but i promise it was an accident Hleb wanted to watch "Batwheels" really bad. of course, who am i to deny my wife, so i streamed it, and she proclaimed Redbird (aka Robin's car) was her son. so we gave him a human-sona too. we decided he was a mini-carjacker before Hleb adopted him.

so, that's a bit of the Wives Lore. let me know if you have comments or questions, but believe me we already know you're concerned. we are too.

this is so off topic but I needed to vent somewhere, so turns out I am slowly realizing I have a thing for dude with long hair..

My childhood crush was Helia from winx and the only reason I watched winx was for HIM, I loved him so damn much dude.

Wanted to revamp Cellios's design/reference sheet. Love this lil lad and def planning to do something with him. His basic gist is you know when you start playing a game with your friend whose been playing for like a decade and so you just level up like crazy fast? He is that overpowered noob. The reason individual Slaaneshi characters are so straight despite Slaaneshi as a whole reading as very clearly queer is because Slaanesh is also associated with depravity and degeneracy of the worst kind. Even Slaanesh himself is a freak among the gods, different from them intrinsically and to the point of fear, hatred, and discomfort from everyone. The most overtly masculine of the gods, Khorne, just straight up openly hates him for reasons that aren't even super clear at first, even though Tzeentch would make better sense as a rival since Warriors and Wizards often are pitted as rivals/opposites in fantasy. But no, big masculine Khorne hates on feminine Slaanesh instead.

GW most likely isn't going to strongly code Slaanesh/Slaaneshi as being queer because they've also pretty irrevocably and clearly said he's a fucking freak and in fact the worst kind of freak on top of being artsy-fartsy. Trying to marry that with Queerness, a group of people historically and currently labelled as freaks and predators, is a PR nightmare waiting to happen. ESPECIALLY nowadays.

SO what if the canary curse didnt transfer to lizzie, because maybe she was in the void? It transferred to MUMBO, due to his deaths always (until Wild) being after jimmy.

I also say this because for some reason Mumbo's pov felt a lot like Jimmy's limited life pov (the last time he had the canary curse before it supposedly broke)

like just the sheer desperation in him just reeekss of Limlife, though that's also because this season is built like limited. • Lilith is a goddess of dark side of motherhood and femininity, she harms women in labor and infants (but doesn't touch those who prays her and asks to save children), and gives birth to children and monsters herself; she doesn't have to raise them, there are servants and teachers for that

• as a queen, she's in charge of diplomacy and correspondence (including those that require threatening), supervises servants and labor, participates in the Wild Hunt, inspects territories with the same rights as husband

• Eisheth Zenunim by magic maintains the connection and power of spirits in her temple, protects women and controls annual rituals, which strengthen power of demons and stabilize them

• her priestesses are often prostitutes at the same time; some mortals among them have sold their bodies in mortal lifet, some, both mortal and not, participate in sexual rituals, but out of necessity Eisheth doesn't allow anyone to touch any of temple women

• like, her name, Eisheth Zenunim, means mother of whoredom

• Agrat bat Mahlat, in addition to being a warlady, travels the roads of the mortal world before Wednesday and Saturday (Sabbath) nights, accompanied by own cohort

• during these hours she has the right to harm people, and mortals are careful not to go out on the roads; however, she mostly punishes only sex offenders

• Naamah helps Eisheth in organizing holidays and restricts the choir and music because properly choreographed music is also a kind of magic

• also she helds such rituals by herself: she speaks with spirits or demons on their inner language

Alternate universe where ymir came back with historia instead of sacrificing herself for the warriors. Then they be like, okay everything is pretty hopeless let’s run and get married. (Ymir said yes) (Berth and Reiner died there)

In this AU a LOT of the main casts died bc they really fuck everyone over. Eren spiraled even more because mikasa dead 💀💀

Rumbling still happened but yumihisu survived being in the island. They won the idgaf war, happy ending for them only!!!!!

Eren eventually learned about ymhs through contacting zeke, influencing him to ask armin to join him last minute. Armin left with Eren.

Floch didn’t join the yeagerist, he’s bonded with the rest of the 104 more than ever.

Jean was the 15th scout commander, but not for long bc they all died trying to stop the rumbling.

Armin, Eren, yumihisu, and everyone in paradis survived. Eren and Ymir died from 13 yr curse
