The Triwizard Tournament was cancelled after all three Champions ended up dead. Two Hundred years later, it's brought back. The Event does not end up being the only thing brought back. Anne-Charolette Edevane died looking down a Chimera's throat. Myrtle Warren died meeting a Basilisk's eyes. Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington died staring at his son. Harry Potter lived, blinking green spots out of his eyes.

  Harry Potter gets voluntold for the Triwizard Tournament and asks for help. He doesn't expect it to come, it hasn't before, but he soon ends up haunted. He's more surprised that he's surprised that it happened, when it does. Hindsight is 20/20 and all that. If Harry Potter lives drenched in death (His parents are dead, anyone he befriends is in danger by proximity, he's famous for not dying when he should have.) then befriending ghosts is... honestly a step he should have taken years ago.

Thinking about Elizabeth Woodville as a gothic heroine is making me go insane. She entered the story by overturning existing social structures, provoking both ire and fascination. Been feeling the growing pains full force lately. Absolutely not perfect, but so much of the shit that used to make me feel anxious isn’t making me feel anxious anymore. Maybe it’s bc I’m at a period of my life where I’ve had the most freedom w how to structure my time, and it’s a transitional period of intense studying and commitment to so many things that are fairly new to me, but I could genuinely only liken it to staring into a flame for an hour and just feeling the brain fog clearing. It’s just been so much easier to put things into perspective lately. And I could confidently say that this is the most I’ve known myself & been unapologetically me. I’ve been trailblazing my own path as opposed to listening to other opinions, and it has never felt more right. It’s so hard to be swayed when for once I know exactly how I fit in the jigsaw

Since Agravaine was the subject of the last prompt, I figure I balance it out this time around. My Agravaine's a big ol' nerd who has a tendency to sacrifice sleep for his hobbies, so here's Laurel trying to convince him to put the pen down and go back to bed for his own sake. Despite appearances, Agravaine is rather soft for Laurel at the end of the day--one of the few people he can admit has the honor.

gelphie and wicked constantly trending on this site is INSANE because that's exactly what i dreamed of ever since it was announced that we were getting a movie, which was so long ago that i wasn't even on tumblr yet (movie was announced in 2012 and i joined in 2013). back then i thought it probably wouldn't even be all that good but i just hoped that people who were unfamiliar with the stage musical would like the movie enough to make gelphie a bit more popular, and look where we are now!! i hope next we can make gelphie hit the top 10 ships in 2025's year in review. it probably won't happen but it's what they deserve.
