Here's a question:
Apart from that one scene in This Year's Girl when Faith confronts Buffy after waking up from her coma and Willow thinks about intervening ("Try it, Red, and you'll lose an arm"), does Faith ever actually refer to Willow as "Red" in canon? In either Buffy or Angel?
In fanfic (including my own) the nickname is ubiquitous -- I can't think of a single work of Buffy fanfiction in which Willow and Faith talk to each other even once and Faith doesn't call Willow "Red", or a story told from her POV in which she doesn't think of Willow as "Red" -- but I am racking my brains and I've been checking episode transcripts and I genuinely think that one line in one Season 4 episode is the only time in canon Faith ever says it.
(As far as I can work out, Kennedy calls Willow "Red" more times in Season 7 than Faith does. Which is to say, she says it exactly once.)

im sure when luz has her inevitable mental breakdown in the next two episodes it will be her mom or eda and king who comforts her and helps her complete her character arc where she realizes Not Everything Is Her Fault, Actually. either that or the entire main cast is going to somehow show luz that she’s been a positive influence in their lives. and luz will be inspired to defeat belos with the power of friendship or whatnot. or amity or hunter will have something to do with it, though if they’re a part of it, the rest of the main cast probably will too bc i don’t see why they would be the only ppl there at the climax of luz’s character arc and not eda, king, and camila.
but what i would have really liked would be if when luz is at her lowest point the person to encourage and inspire her was willow. they haven’t touched on these two’s relationship since season 2 so they probably won’t go this direction but i think narratively it would come circle. willow was the first friend luz ever made. she introduced her to other kids their age and basically kickstarted luz’s relationships with her other peers. without willow, luz never would have gone to hexside and learned about witch society and magic. or at least, she wouldn’t have gotten as much experience with it if she just stayed with eda all the time. without willow, luz definitely wouldn’t have met amity, gus, or even hunter probably. from their adventures with their friends, luz and willow have both matured. and while willow is doing a lot better than how she was at the start of the show (though there are still parts of her character i think they should have explored more in s2), luz is suddenly doing a lot worse.
at the start of the show, luz helped willow gain confidence in herself and discover who she wanted to be. i think at the end of the show, it would be nice if willow helped luz do the same

Was Teasel a good mom for her litter?
Teasel is like any mother: she has her good aspects and her bad
She very much models her own motherhood on her own mother, who was gentle, patient, and understanding--
But, Teasel also has priorities that sometimes clash with motherhood. She WANTS to be gentle, patient, and understanding, but she also knows that Goldspring will judge her on the fitness of her offspring.
It's hard to be patient and understanding with your children when they are the metric by which your own worth is measured on. How can you allow your children to be imperfect, when those imperfections speak to your own faults?
Flax and Willow have a lot of fond memories of Teasel as adults, but they have some bad ones too

SEL SEL I AM EYEING THAT EXES TO LOVERS BAKUGOU WIP SOOOO HARD RN 👀👀👀👀✨️
based off this post i made on my wips!
hELP the way you all went 😳👀 at the bkg wip 😭 (tbh i get it... he's so cute... i miss him all the time...) @willowser @kedsandtubesocks @acerathia
i consider this fic my love letter to bakugo 🥺
i say that because, i think this fic will bear a lot of how i view bakugo under the themes of regret and reconciliation (something i really want to explore with him!) & i think the exes to lovers trope lends well to that!!
it's set in canon, so pro-hero!au (because idt i'm very creative with au's 🤧) & takes place around his mid-20's! you start dating fresh off ua after working together during an internship. there's definitely a connection, and bakugo definitely has a crush, but of course he's not going to say anything—even when everything about your dynamic is shifting into something more than just friends.
you admit to the feelings first, but don't put a label on it, convincing him that nothing really has to change anyway from how you've already been acting. bakugo can't take the ambiguity though, and probably says something like 'so we datin' or sum shit?'.
then he breaks up with you 2 years later. it's a lot of things piled up til the trigger point and what sucks is that it's all him. there's nothing really wrong with the relationship—in fact, it's good. but there are a lot of things he still regrets, and even more things he hasn't fully forgiven himself for. he projects that a lot onto the relationship and where it's going, and he just thinks, he won't be good for it, or you.
you respect it, and the saddest part is you still work closely together so you see each other a lot and the dynamic is still so good. as in, he passes you by the hall and his shoulders relax, the creases between his brows smoothening by memory—your habit of flattening them down with your fingertips. and it goes on like this for a few years as he attempts to work through things on his own (in a way, he's kinda forced himself to confront everything) until it's an achingly slow realisation that there's still something missing (you).
sidestory! i was actually just contemplating on scrapping this entire thing, bc i didn't feel super confident with my grasp on him and the direction i wanted to take w his characterisation (especially since i think he'll be mellower, maybe a bit sadder and frustrated instead of angrier?). but!! i think, there's a lot to unpack with him, and i feel like i tend to gravitate towards the softer parts of a character when i write them anyway 🥺🤧 i am hoping!! crossing my fingers!! that i bring justice to writing him this way 🥺
this idea came from a set of songs i put in a playlist bc they felt very ~ex-bkg (whatever that meant at the time 😭) but this is probably what's influencing the tone too sdjhgbadj
and a very small snippet!
