Starting Your Journey with a White Label ATM Franchise
In recent years, the concept of franchising has exploded, offering aspiring entrepreneurs a proven business model with valuable support systems. Among the various franchise opportunities, one standout option, especially for beginners, is the white label ATM franchise. As a relatively low-maintenance business model, it appeals to those seeking a passive income stream, minimal oversight, and reliable profitability. This blog will explore the advantages, potential earnings, and practical tips on selecting the best franchises to own for beginners, with a particular focus on the compelling world of white label ATMs.
Why Choose a Franchise? The Perfect Springboard for First-Time Entrepreneurs
Franchises are more than just businesses; they’re established frameworks that come with brand recognition, marketing support, and an operating model that's often time-tested. This makes them a strong entry point for anyone new to entrepreneurship. With many choices ranging from food chains to retail outlets and service-oriented businesses, there’s a franchise out there to suit various interests and investment levels.
For beginners, the best franchises are those that offer:
Simplified Operations - requiring minimal technical or industry expertise.
Scalable Opportunities - allowing for the easy addition of more units as the business grows.
Lower Investment Risk - with proven models that have consistently yielded profit.
Among these choices, white label ATM franchises uniquely blend these qualities. Let’s dive into what makes them one of the best franchises to own for beginners.
Understanding the White Label ATM Franchise Model
A white label ATM (WLATM) is an ATM not directly owned by a bank but is instead managed by a third-party operator who offers ATM services to users of multiple banks. These ATMs are ubiquitous in convenience stores, malls, transport hubs, and other high-traffic areas, providing easy access to cash while generating a revenue stream for the franchise owner.
In a white label ATM franchise:
The franchisee operates the ATM machines but does not need to handle cash or engage in day-to-day maintenance.
Revenue primarily comes from ATM fees charged to users, making this a passive income source.
Banks benefit from these ATMs by expanding their network without having to invest in physical infrastructure, which creates a mutually beneficial setup.
Why White Label ATM Franchises Are Perfect for Beginners
For new entrepreneurs, a white label ATM franchise provides an opportunity with relatively low operating demands and significant earning potential. Here’s why it stands out as a beginner-friendly business:
1. Minimal Operational Headaches
Unlike a fast-food or retail franchise, running a white label ATM franchise does not require hiring, training, or managing a large staff. This business can be managed solo or with minimal support, allowing owners to focus on other ventures or retain their day job.
2. Low Risk with Steady Returns
Most people use ATMs regularly, and with fewer people carrying cash, ATMs have become indispensable. Thus, having a WLATM in a high-traffic area can ensure steady footfall, translating to consistent revenue from withdrawal fees.
3. Simple Scaling Opportunities
Once your first ATM unit is set up and generating revenue, scaling up by adding additional ATMs becomes straightforward. You already understand the system, and each new unit adds to your passive income, making it easier to build a network over time.
4. Easy to Understand and Manage
One of the biggest challenges for beginners is navigating the complexities of new business operations. With a white label ATM franchise, the business model is simple to understand and has limited moving parts. You’ll need to secure locations, ensure the machines are operational, and handle maintenance as needed, but the daily management is uncomplicated.
Practical Tips for Success with White Label ATM Franchises
Choosing the best franchises to own for beginners comes down to researching, planning, and strategizing. Here are some tips to maximise the success of your white label ATM franchise:
1. Location, Location, Location!
ATMs thrive in locations with high foot traffic. Shopping centres, near convenience stores, airports, transit stations, and busy intersections are prime spots.
Prioritise locations where the ATM will fill a need—areas lacking close bank branches or establishments where cash is commonly used are excellent choices.
2. Optimize for User Experience
Ensure the ATMs are in easily accessible, visible, and well-lit locations. Users prefer ATMs that offer security, convenience, and a sense of privacy.
Offering bilingual or multilingual options, depending on your area, can also attract more users and make your ATMs more accessible.
3. Maintain the Machine’s Operational Uptime
Broken ATMs mean lost revenue and user frustration. Ensure the machines are regularly serviced and quickly repaired if issues arise.
Partner with a reliable service provider or employ local support staff to handle routine maintenance efficiently.
4. Promote Your ATMs
Consider small-scale advertising or local partnerships to promote your ATM locations. Many white label ATMs don’t rely on traditional ads, but a little visibility can set yours apart.
Try collaborating with nearby businesses to encourage customer traffic to your ATM. Some locations might be willing to add a small sign, alerting customers to the nearby convenience of your ATM.
Why a White Label ATM Franchise is the Best Franchise to Own for Beginners
When assessing potential businesses to start, white label ATM franchises are some of the best franchises to own for beginners because they combine the stability of a consistent revenue model with the flexibility and low commitment of a passive income stream. Unlike retail or service-based franchises, you aren’t tied to a demanding schedule or constant oversight, making it suitable for beginners or those interested in semi-passive income sources.
Other benefits include:
Lower Overhead Costs - You won’t have to manage inventory, rent, or a large team of employees, as you would in a retail setting.
Predictable Revenue - Withdrawal fees are straightforward, and the simplicity of the model offers a predictable income stream.
Flexible and Scalable Business Model - You can add more ATMs as your comfort and business knowledge grow, expanding with less risk than many other franchises require.

yay, I'm glad you liked it >< also, the way I had 4 paragraphs on this and accidentally clicked away, oops.... this is kinda rewritten from memory so not very good—but ask and you shall receive ! and I don't have an active blog atm, but I will be looking into it. maybe. the internet is scary D: also, lots of context once again, my bad "( – ⌓ – )
ִֶָ 𓂃⊹ ִֶָ age gap & intox
⠀⸝⸝⸝⠀⠀( older!reader × nonidol!rosé ) you two met by bumping into each other (literally) at a coffee shop. so cliché: her cheeks reddening when she looks up at you, her freshly made iced americano poured all over your white shirt, and her doed-up eyes portraying the embarrassment. a bunch of quick apologies like "I'm so sorry, ma'am," and "I wasn't looking, oh my God, I'm so sorry–"
her best idea at the moment is to give you her number to "make it up to you later" and she saves herself as 'rosie ♡ (the clumsy one)', the heart not going unnoticed by you. you make your way out after reassuring it was okay, that you were only here to buy some pastries anyway, nowhere important to be. her eyes trail up your figure until you disappear around the corner, the door letting out a 'ding' as you exit.
⠀⸝⸝⸝⠀⠀a few weeks later and you get a text from 'rosie ♡' (you removed 'the clumsy one' part because it was a bit too dumb to label her with) which says "hello, I was wondering if I could repay you with some brunch??". a quick "sure" and you find yourself with a talkative rosé, she's sitting across from you and so social. it's obvious she has some sort of crush on you, you assumed it was the idea of an older woman—she seems like the type to be too 'babygirl' to have someone her age.
day drinking was never your strength, so you only sip your water as she downs a few sips of her whiskey. the smell is strong, not that you mind, and it showcases whenever she leans forward to refill your water—so well-mannered, with her speech as well—or hand you her fork because "this is so good, you need to try it!"
⠀⸝⸝⸝⠀⠀eventually taking her back to her own place. she's too tipsy to stand straight, let alone drive. only 1 pm and she's already wasted. you're thankful it's your day off today, wouldn't be able to take care of a needy rosé with some idiotic men who can't figure out how to sort paper blowing up your phone.
she's... so dumb. her tongue is loose, complimenting you left and right and growing bolder with her words. all you can do is let out amused responses because she's very clearly drunk, you shouldn't take advantage of that. but oh God, it's hard to keep yourself in check when she's whining and full on begging for just something, anything.
it's out of pity, at least that's what you tell yourself, when you shush her with two of your fingers in her mouth. she looks like she's gonna cum from just that because the thought of being babied is making her so hazy she just can't. and so, she does cum. untouched. but it's too small of an orgasm to satisfy either of you, so those same fingers keep pounded her skull in contrast to you gently taking off her clothes.
she's wearing some pink lace and you can't help but think—imagine—that she wore these just for you, that she wanted this to be the end goal. what a shameless girl. but you don't admire the cloth, it's down to her ankles in milliseconds, your index and middle finger are the only thing covering her, somewhat. the circles on her clit slow but still enough to have her thrashing.
when you let her speak again, taking your soaked fingers out her mouth and stuffing them one by one in her cunt until there's three, her manners show again. "thank you" and "right there, please," leave her mouth so constantly you doubt she can think of any other words right now.
when she cums again, it's so hard and pretty. her eyes rolling back and reaching forward towards you instead of arching her back. you can still see that she's drunk, but you don't feel bad, can't feel bad. not when she's mindlessly half-admitting to having wanted this: "so much better than I imagined." now you just have to wait for her to sober up for round 2, she's too comfy over your lap to reciprocate.

this !! i’m seeing stars, this is what rosé is about for me, this awful mess of a girl who crumbles under the attention of an older woman :( like you said, her drunk self, throwing her head back with a stupid smile and then batting her eyelashes at you, something about “you’re really pretty” and laughing that makes you just dismiss her with a “sure thing, rosie” and grip her waist harder and pull her harder to your side.
somehow remembering her manners while you have three fingers stretching her out is so on brand for her (and jennie), head empty, cunt achy, turns every girl to the most well behaved form :(
and i compared her to a little fawn on my other ask about her and i can’t help but do it again here because it’s exactly how i think she would act after, getting so sleepy and looking so fragile in your arms post-orgasm, body mushy, barely holding herself on her own legs and you take her to bed to proper rest and she smile and extend her hand, inviting you to lay with her and what are supposed to do? say no? and when you sit down she instantly curls up by your side… sigh, that one girl that’s too much of a cute wild animal for you.
you mentioning cute brunch unofficial dates and stuffing her mouth with your fingers here, me talking about having her on your lap and feeding her little bites on the sugar baby ask… oh, rosie girl, i know what you are. totally not thinking about million scenarios including oral fixation right now and the idea of her vibrating at the vague feeling of your fingers close to her lips, cleaning her smudged lipstick, shushing her, offering her something, all while her underwear grows damp and she has to resist the urge to open her mouth to bite or lick. or just being latched at any part of your body because that’s what it is about, your neck, your pussy, your strap, she just wants to feel some of you in her mouth.
and never apologize for writing lots of background, i do it too and i love it!!

𝐚/𝐧: splitting this into two parts, leaving y’all on a cliffhanger. pls like, comment below for tagging, and reblogged. (edit: forgot there were "broken" links or something when clicking to find the chapters, those are also fixed too.)
𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭
In front of you were two boxes, one that was gunpowder with a bold black label written at the top of the crate, and the other was written in potassium chlorate. You notice that these two items share similar fates but different structures. "Handle with care," you instructed, snapping the fan in your hand shut. Walking off with shoulders squaring, your eyes trail around when you stop right in the center of the trading post. You finally owned a small port that allowed you to transport essential items from different countries. From using the money, the inn has accumulated over time.
All the time you've spent inside your room, stuck reading boring materials and trying to navigate into the world as a man, was brutal. You would never have the luxury and freedom as a woman, but you've become too accustomed to dressing up as a man. It doesn't mean you let yourself fall freely. This world wasn't built for women; you've always known that from the start, although that doesn't stop you from bending the rules to your will if you wish for it. The effects of reinforcing you into roles from everyone start to wear off when there isn't anyone keeping tabs.
And it feels liberating, you admit.
The first few steps you have taken for yourself without the help of anyone powerful give you a sense of clarity—something normal among the norms. You eye the small port, seeing the future play out in front of you. If you kept a steady trade of items from the small shops, you have gambled around the area for their compliance (you were hasty, something you ought to keep in check, too), then the port would grow big in no time. But quality wares is something you noted and took from the vendors you think would make it big if they produce what you're looking for. Owning important essential items or daily use objects was often sought out, and knowing what was going on in the market with the ledgers you kept, the vendors were happy to update it every week.
The smell of sea salt brushes against your nose when a spray mist of the ocean settles across your face like a thin veil. It brought you back from reality. The dark soft fur that clings around your neck tickles your jawline. It was a cape that had a lined coat inside for heat insulation. It was a gift to you from the seamstress. At first, you refuse such a gift as you weren't expecting anything in return but their devotion. The seamstress was an elderly lady named Rue with pure grey hair with specks of white, with milky pupils who ran the shop with her granddaughter, who was the age of fifteen. For someone blind, they have an impeccable sense of design, where to thread their needle, and even hand spin the silk threads with deer tail fur to tone down the bright arrogant colors.
Last but not least, you didn't bypass her as male.
You wonder how at first, Rue could tell, but you couldn't stop them from shoving their hands all over your face to see as further confirmation. It isn't until when you're alone that she sends her blushing granddaughter, who keeps gawking at you, to fetch warm jasmine tea from the kitchen. When she breathed out how the light footsteps and breathing differed from men, the soft scent of your natural smell under the musk of pinewood wasn't enough to fool her. Years of blindness hone her other senses.
To say you give a nervous smile even though Rue can't see, but she could sense it. You remember how she didn't ask questions about your true identity, but traces of understanding was written across her withering face. Rue was indeed an enigma and a master of changing the topic onto herself with woos of stories of her ambitious youth. You don't mind her rambling; as long as it's not you divulging into your life, then you're fine.
Readjusting the cape, you walk off the port onto the mainland, and before you can go any further, a woman who is a bit tad shorter than you bumps into you. They let out a yelp and seemed to trip over their heel as they braced for impact when falling back and shut their eyes. Based on reflexes, you grab their wrist to pull them upright, but all it does is wring their weight your way as they collide into your chest with a delicate sound of discontent.
"Hey! Watch where-" The words died on their lips when they opened their soft pomegranate-colored eyes. Their eyes almost remind you of someone. As if they couldn't utter a word after nearly insulting you, the shade of their face became gradually warmer, like the colors of their eyes. "I'm sorry!" They sputter out in nervousness. You only look down at her with your questioning piercing gaze that has her even weaker in your arms. Unknowingly. Ripping themself out of your hold, she set a space between you both.
"What are you sorry for? It was my fault for not seeing you." Simply reassuring her, the woman across from you became a more blubbering mess. You don't know what's going on in her head; the more you observe, it becomes a headache to decipher each passing second. Cutting her off, you notice the sky gradually getting darker and bid her farewell with a tilt of your head down.
It wasn't until that you were gone she allowed herself to bask in the memories of you. With both hands on her flaming cheeks, she gushes over her Prince Charming and starts to create scenarios in her head. "They were so cool!~" The aura around her was warm and pleasant, and even some bystanders who walked past her glanced at her—some young love.
"Lady Kiriko!" The young woman's handmaid finally reaches her as they huff and pant. They stop in front of her. Kiriko only clicked her tongue in distaste as she lost her sense of a heart-warming aura. "I finally found you! We have to go to the inn before it gets dark." The handmaid wheezes out.
Like a flip that has been switched, Kiriko activated her brat mode. "Why do you always have to ruin my fun?" She pinches the maid's arm harshly, and they cringe back. "I still have a bit more time left before sundown." Kiriko overlaps her arms, but her thoughts trail back to you, and then brat mode is switched off. She had a deluded smile on her face. Then again, it was back on instantly when she turned around to her maid. "By the way, did you see a handsome man on your way here? They walk where the way you came from."
The handmaid crinkles her brows in confusion.
Kiriko rolls her eyes, "You know about this tall?" She gestured to where your height would reach, which is a head taller. "They wore a cape in the color of brown, but it looked like gold with intricate design, and the neck had soft black fur surrounding it." Kiriko waited a few more seconds, "And they look adorable too."
The maid then snaps their eyes at the lady, "Ah yes! I saw them; they walked into a rented house near here!" Kiriko didn't waste time asking which house the handsome man rented, and the maid told her it was the Red Koi and sped away.
Eisha coughs as the weather gets colder and harsher. With the months flying by and winter coming, she tried to stifle another hack. "Where are the imported red coals?" She asked nearby maids, who gave each other a look, deciding who would break the news. They were a jittering mess and kept avoiding eye contact.
Eisha's lady-in-waiting ensured her Master was comfortable as she brought the finest furs and pillows to create a sturdy and warm nest. "Your Lady asked you a question, and you won't answer her?" The personal maid sternly made a face, and the lowly ranked servants quivered.
"The red coals that you requested were given to Lady (Name)," one spoke up, still refusing to make eye contact; they whispered the last part in a hush, "by Lord Sukuna's order."
As if what they said were whiplash to their Lady and the personal maid, Eisha's lady-in-waiting was about to blow a fuse for her Master. "All dismiss." She tried to say calmly. Although it was barely contained, all the servants could see how Eisha's handmaid eyes bled red with rage, and no one wasted a second to flee the room. If Hell existed, it would be this very castle.
Eisha's handmaid, Miyo, turns to their master. "Your Lady, even Lord Sukuna knows about your condition and that regular coals could suffocate your lungs and worsen it with the amount of smoke it emits." Miyo then curses you inside her mind; like everyone else, she couldn't understand why Lord Sukuna would put you above all else. Are you made of gold or something? Miyo was sure you were nothing; you hadn't made yourself worthy with a single childbirth. Something that everyone knew was important.
"Don't worry about it," Eisha's quiet demeanor made Miyo even more raucous, but she held it inside. "Go to the clothing department today and pick up my lined fur fleece and my daughter from her study." With the command, Miyo respectfully now to Eisha and left the room.
There was a quick and sudden announcement from Hanami about her niece visiting her from a different region of Japan in a week. So the Doom Mother (Motherzilla) had expected everything to be perfect and lavish. Even the concubines were putting on their best behavior as they discussed what to wear to welcome their mother-in-law's niece.
This was the first time the girl would make an official trip to visit Hanami alone. But that doesn't mean you haven't heard of her before; there were brief mentions of her throughout your marriage to Sukuna. Where Hanami had plotted the idea of her only son marrying a cousin with who he had no interest. Additionally, Sukuna only met her once when she was only eight. Even the age gap was a decade between them. In the faint memory of her ten years ago, Sukuna had said she was a spoilt brat to the brim and expected the world to bow down to her.
You could almost laugh at how ironic he was judging someone when he was the same way. Well, minus the spoilt parts, then it would be perfect.
"Lady (Name)," a lady you recognize was two years older than you, was part of Hanami's entourage, Ubi. Judging by her clothes, she was in the second rank, closely behind Hanami's vassal, Naiyu. This instantly made you put on an air of neutrality; you didn't know what to expect from her as you didn't know much about her. Out of all of Hanami's retainers, only Ubi and Naiyu were the ones you watch out for, as Ubi was specially trained under Naiyu, so their facade was perfect craftsmanship.
Since they both represent Hanami's strengths, they had to be fearless in what they do, and you suspect that much—being the blade for their master. Still, they have shown indifference toward you, but doubt lingers in your mind. You can be careful and wary of them, but that would invite your demise if you failed to see beyond, so you try to harden your eyes.
Ubi, who senses you putting up barriers, instantly tries to disarm it with a soft smile that is part of her service. "The Head Mother has requested your presence," and around you, the air of jealousy and envy from concubines rises through the roof and filters through the hallways. Whether it's deliberate or not, Ubi semblance never falters. She held onto that patience.
"Lead the way," you monotonously said, and she turned around for you to follow. Starting at her back, it's unsettling how you can't pick what's happening inside Ubi's head, unlike how you did with Sukuna. For them, it's a blank slate.
"Ugh, look at her acting like she's so important just because the Head Mother had called for her," Sena whispered with hidden jaundice around her little clique, and they all agreed. One rolls their eyes, and a few sniggers at the action. Her eyes trail close to where you left.
It took a few minutes to lead you to Hanami's residence.
"Head Mother, I have brought Lady (Name) as per your request," Ubi announces, and the door slides open. She side steps to the side to allow you in without looking up.
You enter the room with quiet steps and sit on the zabuton, and before you can bow as a greeting, she lifts a hand to stop you. "There's no need." Hanami tries to mask her displeasure at seeing you, and you weren't stupid to not see it. It's just you didn't bother to point it out. Since she has an important matter to discuss and it involves you, Hanami decides to make it quick so your face isn't a constant reminder of your Aunt.
Hanami: "You're going to take over on welcoming my niece."
You: "Pardon? Isn't that supposed to be Lady Eisha's role?"
"Yes, it is," Hanami spoke as a matter of fact, "due to her ailing health, this task might be arduous for her since the doctor has told her to stay warm, so Eisha is taking bed rest to recover. Thus I'm assigning this to you."
Well, this is news to you. Out of all the people she could've picked, she had chosen you for such a task. You would have thought she might select one of the lower concubines to do the job. With her blatant prejudice against you. "Wouldn't any other concubine be better for the job?"
"Are you shrinking your role as the second wife of my son?" Hanami blurts out in annoyance as her tone rises an octave high; she looks up and down at you repeatedly with quick eyes. Like, you have gone crazy for even suggesting that.
With lips service smile, you retort back politely, "Head Mother, you seem to be offended by my innocent question. I'm only asking since you seem to tolerate my presence barely, let alone we haven't spoken to one another within five years of being married to your son. The only time we spoke was, instead, very brief and short, two days after the wedding consummation." It was the first greeting for the mother as a new in-law from the wife or concubine as respect.
Hanami clenches her jaws tightly; your sharp tongue and dim-witted acting seem to prick her nerves. You and your Aunt are very much alike in some ways, unbearable and arrogant. "Are you going to refuse my order?"
"Ah no," you quickly reply, "that would bring shame if I didn't uphold my duty as the second wife of Sukuna and Lady Eisha's left hand too."
Hanami didn't know if what you said was pure mockery, but each passing second in this room with you got her blood pumping in anger. "Since you have understood, you're dismissed."
You courteously bow deliberately (on purpose) to bid farewell before standing up with grace. Hanami was sure you were playing with her; your ungenuine smile wasn't even hidden. She curses daily due to her son's favoritism of you; you're like a plague that never vacates. And have you grown uncouth that you don't even respect her?
"Lord Sukuna, Lady (Name) will be taking over Lady Eisha's task of welcoming your cousin in a few days," Uraume informed their master, who quirked a brow.
"Oh? So that brat of a cousin is visiting?" He asked no one in particular; it was more of saying it to himself out loud. "Mother has finally given her such an important task for once." The thought of his Mother warming up to you sounds so funny that he can't help but chuckle. His Mother barely tolerates the idea of you and loathes Sukuna himself for a self-evident reason sometimes. "Make sure my wife doesn't overwork herself and help her if necessary; I'll tend to her afterward."
Uraume silently left the room, and Sukuna mulled over his thought. He rests his temple against his knuckles and watches the candlelight flicker under a breeze. But in his spare hand was a familiar thick jewel; Sukuna toys around with a gold bangle with assorted gems in various sizes, colors, and labyrinth designs indented into the gold.
It was your bangle.
After the night he had spent with you, he took what's most precious to you, and it was what was given to you by your deceased parents. There were years of work on it, seeing how the inside of the jewel was fading away from constant use. Sukuna noticed how the clasps were loose, most of all when he kept twisting the bangle around to feel every rigidity and bump.
The more he looks at it, the more something seems off.
Sukuna barely saw small noticeable lines on the inside of the bracelet; it was in the shape of a square. A small hidden compartment; if his keen and trained eyes missed that tiny detail, he deserved to be killed on a battlefield for not seeing an enemy, ambush, or assassination. Still, Sukuna was curious and grabbed a small wooden toothpick to unlock the small door.
He was surprised when multiple seeds fell out of the bracelet when he shook them out onto the table. The color of the sources was rather old, seeing how raisin and dried they were. Something stirs in his chest, and he doesn't like it. Sukuna's fierce eyes were glaring at the jarring sight before him. Cold like Hell has washed over.
"Someone, go and fetch me the doctor. Right. Now." His voice was low, with his wrath was barely concealed through clenched teeth. "Now!" Sukuna repeats their voice bellows out from his room to outside when no one makes a move to move. One male servant scamps away to do what they're told out of fear.
You're crafty. He gives you credit for that; whatever you're hiding, he would sniff it out. Sukuna then set the jeweled bracelet down and ran a hand through his hair; he puffs out a shallow breath. He's barely an anxious man, but his opinions of you and your sensitive nature slowly etched their way into his mind as he started to pick them apart one by one in a logical sense.
When emotions run high, clouds of judgment obscure his views. Sukuna is a man led by ideals and a futuristic sense; scarcely emotions ever run by him. He knew deep down when he allowed himself to feel emotions, it would cause him trouble, and he was right. Few selected people could be worthy of his regard, but to him, it didn't change his output of you very much. He dislikes being blind by someone, even so, he fully lets himself be when it comes to you, but seeing differently from a different angle, Sukuna should know that you're not soft and malleable.
You're like glass, pretty in the light, but there are still sharp edges around it. You shouldn't be underestimated. When he thought he had you at the center of his palm, you find a way to slip away. The game of chase was a back-and-forth thing, with its up and down.
Sukuna took another breath and exhaled deeply, pushing away the negative introspections.
You were busy interacting and directing where everything should go the next few days. It almost felt like a routine when you were dressed up as your alibi, Seijuro Hajime. Your breath fogs up in front of you, and your nose itches when cold air brushes against it; turning your head to the side, you sneeze.
"You should dress up warmer for the occasion," a voice snuck up behind you, and you froze for a quick second when a heavy cape was draped around your shoulders. Sukuna had made his presence known, and the servants around you suddenly worked harder than before. You were about to shrug off his cape, but his hands were on your shoulders, "Keep it on."
Another moment of pregnant silence passed through; no servants bothered to be in your and Sukuna's line of sight. They make sure to steer clear away from the invisible bubble that was presented around their Lord of the House. Sukuna presses his broad front against your back; you can feel his heat seeping through, then he slides his hands down your shoulders until it reaches your cold hands. His callous palms envelopes your own, and there was a minor battle of you struggling to tug it away.
"Could you please let me do my job," you patronize Sukuna, who only takes it as amusement and doesn't move an inch.
"No, I came here to spend time with my lovely wife." He tunes out, and his voice is much lighter, much chirpy to your liking. "Do you want to know what I discovered today?"
"No," flatly refusing him, one of Sukuna's hands retracted for a second, and you felt something cold and heard a slight click on your wrist. You look down to see your bracelet that has gone missing adorned your wrist. Toring yourself away, you whirl around to meet his eyes; you accuse him with a quiet, burning, seething look, "So it was you who took it."
The corners of his lips quirk up. You have spent days looking for your precious bangle, even flipping your room upside down. You didn't think it was this menacing man in front of you swiping it right under your nose during that day he had forcefully bedded you. You even thought that you lost it during your outing to the castle and that anyone could pick it up and pawn it to set themselves up for life.
"It was a pretty little thing; I know it was a special gift to you from your parents. So I took it as an inspiration to see your taste, as you never wore what I gifted. " Sukuna explains while lazily giving you a nonchalant expression without losing his carefree nature. He lops his head to the side, "And here's the fun part, I fixed your little bracelet problems for you."
You clench your jaws and roll your eyes again with a deep breath, "There's nothing wrong with it."
"No, no, no," Sukuna tuts out as if he's dealing with a lying child, "There is a problem with it. You, my lovely wife here, have been plotting something bigger against me this whole time." The light in his eyes darkened and was replaced with something entirely devious. Mentally preparing yourself, Sukuna brushes his knuckles against your cold, bitten, ample red cheeks. "There are many things I've been tolerating from you," Sukuna's tone reeks of hurt and betrayal, despite failing to mask it, "but not this."
The hand caressing your cheek was suddenly behind your nape; Sukuna grips, and for once, he didn't care how he made you look in front of his servants, who were surprised at his treatment. Many hold their breath and further avoid the personal bubble as they could see trouble brewing between you both. All we're opting the long way to complete their task.
"You know I always wanted a child with you, but seriously, basil seeds?" Sukuna let out a haughty laugh when he saw your expression crumble a bit from fear of realization that he knew. "Yes, I now know what has caused your infertility."
The smile he wore never seemed so big and scary in front of you. Your mind was repeatedly reeling that Sukuna knew. He. Knew. Now you're not safe, and you can no longer avoid his advances.
Sukuna could see the vulnerability displayed before him; this was what he was waiting for. You're so open for him to take and relish. "I admire the length you're willing to go, and honestly, I genuinely do." You don't know what will come out of his mouth anymore. "No one can save you from me now. Not even your precious bracelet."
[Days Ago]
Sukuna patiently waited for the physician to arrive at his headquarters while drumming his fingers against the dark red oak table. His eyes trail to your bracelet that sticks out like a sore thumb, along with the seeds. The doors to his room snap open as the physician enters. "Finally," Sukuna said out loud; he has patience, but not today.
The doctor stopped in front of Sukuna and greeted him with a bow. "Lord Sukuna, w-what seems to be the problem?"
The man smirked, "You always seem to tremble whenever you meet me, but never mind that," Sukuna motioned with his head where the bracelet and seeds lay, "Tell me what is on the table." The physician saw and quickly took action.
They took a seed and examined it before sniffing it, and a faint scent emitted. "My Lord, this is basil seed."
Sukuna: "Basil?"
"Yes, basil." They confirmed it.
"What's so special about it?" Sukuna asks with interest.
"Lord Sukuna, basil seeds are used for many things, and especially if consuming it, doing it in small quantities once in a while not to cause side effects. Too much may cause bloating and abdominal pain. This is also used to help... " The medic explains in tangent detail.
"Then explain why it was inside the bracelet." Sukuna cuts to the chase when asking about something the doctor does and tends to run their mouth sometimes.
"A-Ah, yes." He took the bracelet from the table, "May I ask who the bracelet belongs to?"
Sukuna: "(Name)."
The doctor should not be surprised it was you. They took a moment to examine the bracelet and saw the open compartment door and sniffed the inside of the bangle, and found traces of it. "My Lord, how long has Lady (Name) worn this bracelet?"
The sound of urgency in his voice caught Sukuna's interest. "For as long as I married her. It was from her parents. What's the problem?"
Since there was no time stamp on how long, the doctor could only conclude one thing, "If Lady (Name) has worn this for a long time, then the cause of her infertility could be this all along." The words are like a cold wake-up call from the doctor; Sukuna's eyelids droop low with fury. The thought of you, 'How dare you (Name).' The doctor nervously continues, "Long exposure to basil seeds entering the bloodstream could thin out the blood, affect her hormones, and even her menstrual cycles. This could also explain—"
Sukuna raised a hand for the medic to shut their mouth as he was complimented on how he should deal with you and what he had just learned today. At first, he took your bracelet to understand your personal preferences, then return it to you later, and now he doesn't regret stumbling onto your long secret by chance. The amount of time he had bed you and you failed to conceive a child was out.
"You're dismissed, and keep your mouth shut." Then he looks at the corner where Uraume resides, "Take the bracelet to get it modified from a nearby jeweler. Fix the clasps and seal the door."

This is going to be an extremely messy post, but I’ve been grappling with the argument that “fascism” is nothing more than an exceptionalised label for the cyclical political crises of capitalism, as opposed to an actual historical force in and of itself - just as capitalism has cyclical economic crises which are necessary for its continued functioning, fascism represents the political crises of capital, a bulwark against class consciousness and socialist organising which threaten capitalist rule. Fascism does this by instead emphasising a racial or national consciousness, using white supremacy and the promise of property to divert people away from class consciousness. In Anatomy of Fascism, Paxton talks about how important the promise of property ownership to Italian peasantry was to establishing fascist rule there - class mobility up into the middle classes was used in concert with racial/national politics to stop people from identifying with the proletariat (“homeowners are too busy to be communists,” to paraphrase that American housing developer I forget the name of atm). This is especially weaponised against Jewish people, who are framed as having no national affiliation and are thus eternal outsiders to the bourgeois Christian homeland.
I have encountered a lot of definitions of fascism. The most productive and evocative definition I’ve found is Cesaire’s - colonialism come home. He was speaking of Europe when he said this, saying that Hitler was only doing what Europe did overseas. But what does this mean for settler colonial states? There is no “home” for colonialism to return to for countries like the United States or Canada, because this colonial process has to constantly and at all times maintain itself upon indigenous land in order for the state to continue to exist. The colonialism is always home, always domestic (while also obviously being exercised globally through imperial domination and violence, especially in the case of the United States). Are these states essentially fascist in conception? If this conclusion is true (which I’m leaning towards yes), is “fascism” a useful analytical category at all? If we speak of the political processes of capitalism when we speak of fascism, can we simply just call it all capitalism? It would be like if we called all periods of economic crisis “collapsism” and partitioned these periods of depression or economic instability into exceptional circumstances divorced from the history of capitalism (which we already have done with The Great Depression in the 1930s, or the 2008 Financial Crash - these are exceptional periods where something “went wrong,” where the system “failed”). Sitting with this conclusion for a moment, calling these processes fascist is to divorce them of their material history, to decouple them from the violence and exploitation inherent to capitalism, and to ensure that any analysis of fascism does not conclude with a call to abolish capitalism - for if fascism is merely an interruption of normal capitalist democratic functioning, then preventing future fascisms does not require the abolition of the current economic and political system.
I’ve been engaging with this essay recently, which calls liberals the “left wing of fascism,” and argues that liberalism, far from providing an alternative to fascist rule, instead provides a stabilising quality to it, acting as a stop-gap to the more destabilising right-wing bourgeois elements of capitalism. And despite these conclusions I still find fascism a useful label, both because I think it has a lot of strategic value to engage with particular historical periods (such as right now) as fascist - fascism as a label has widespread recognition, if not widespread understanding - and also because it provides a neat shorthand for the historical process of capitalist political decay.
Anyway I’m talking this all out publicly because I’m in the process of reviewing a lot of literature on the subject for my PhD, and I keep coming to this conclusion - that fascism is not “real” in the sense that it cannot be divorced from capitalism itself, and in fact is a necessary process to the continued functioning of capitalism - but I’m having a hard time seeing what analytical limitations this conclusion produces. I have so far been the most persuaded by post-colonial and Marxist accounts of fascism, but I wonder if multiple definitions of fascism are still strategically or analytically useful to use in concert with one another, even if I disagree with them

Aita for never making white ttrpg characters?
Title is a little weird, but I play a lot of ttrpgs with friends. I (M19) am white, so is all but one girl in our ttrpg group (F23), she’s Puerto Rican.
Anyways, all the games we play are rpgs based in the real world, whether they be urban fantasy or horror, they’re never in fantasy worlds. I like to explore different cultures, researching them and designing accurate characters for these games. I made a Bangladeshi girl for a MASKS: New Generations game who wanted to be the first desi superhero in America and was attending a superhero boarding school in upstate New York, I made half Iraqi/half Black boy in a homebrew power by the apocalypse game who was raised by his Chinese step-mother and was adopted into a giant extended family that took place in Brooklyn NYC, I made a black camp counselor for a Sleepaway oneshot, and I made a Mexican/Cajun boy for a Monsterhearts game taking place in south Louisiana.
For every character, I took my time and did days of research into backgrounds, cultures, and potential sensitivity issues. The last thing I want is to misrepresent a culture. The Puerto Rican girl in our group, let’s call her “Mary”, has never had a problem with my characters, but I’ve gotten comments from other players that it’s weird that I never play any white characters. I’ve made a white character twice; one for a Ten Candles game who was a 50 year old vet (and I miss him everyday, easily one of my favorite one-off characters because of his intense hatred of the Dallas Cowboys), and one for a homebrew 80’s slasher game who somehow because the first jock to be a final girl (He was too pure for this world, can’t wait to play his reincarnation in an ALENS game)
Our forever GM hasn’t ever had an issue with my characters, she even brings a giant variety of NPCs from all over to her games and makes the whole experience so much fun. The few times she’s made characters, they’ve always had great chemistry with mine and I’ve always had a good time
But, even with Mary’s and the GM’s approval, I still feel off about the comments of the other players. I love my characters, and the research I do for them helps me as a writer as that’s my profession atm. It seems like every time I propose a new character who isn’t white, I get asked “so what part of the world are they from now?” or “aren’t you German? Are you scared of doing a German character?” or other questions like that
I don’t play ttrpgs to insert myself into different fantasies, I play ttrpgs to explore new characters and new settings through different experiences. I don’t want to be labeled racist, but I understand if I’m coming off that way. If I’m voted the asshole, I’ll reflect and learn why. Commenters, deffo tell me how I can be better.
Anyways, AITA?
TL:DR, I’m white, I make primarily POC characters in ttrpgs, my group is annoyed and makes passive aggressive comments each time I do so. Aita for not making more white characters?
🔮
to find this later ^^^
What are these acronyms?

i love my brother
but i feel like he’s a little black and white when it comes to gender identity- which is bizarre as he’s a trans guy
i’ve changed pronouns/gender identity/sexuality a lot because idk i’m younger and trying to figure out who i am and what feels right- and he calls me the most “inconsistent person he knows”
which kinda sucks
he told me he talked to my mom apparently about how i’d benefit from just calling myself genderfluid and i have two problems with that
1) i’m not out to my mom. i love my mom and she’s so supportive but i don’t want to come out until im sure because i don’t wanna change it up on her all the time. looks like he did that for me tho
2) genderfluid doesn’t feel right to me- at least right now. it’s not my label. i’m nonbinary/genderqueer atm and i don’t wanna change because of how he thinks i should identify
there’s also the added layer that he and his girlfriend are t4t- his partner was nonbinary for a long time and now they use they/she pronouns and identify as a fem nonbinary- WHICH IS SO COOL
but that means both of their gender experiences were a bit more binary- both leaning heavily away from their agab. i think because i still like feminine things (this convo arose last night because i showed him the swimsuit i was gonna get) and im not the more common “nonbinary androgynous” presenting person- or because i don’t lean fully away from more “feminine” things- he doesn’t really understand?
i think in his mind enby is either dressing masc if you’re afab or fem if you’re amab- or the like short hair, baggy clothes, genderless being aesthetic shown in media when it comes to enby people
and all the power to them! they’re valid and amazing as who they are, but when that becomes The Look for nonbinary people it can affect peoples acceptance of enbies who aren’t like that or can’t afford to be because of money, their home life, etc.
all this is sorta to say that you don’t have to listen to what the older queer people around you think you “should be” or what it “sounds like you are” even people who’ve been in the queer community longer have had different experiences than you- and shouldn’t dictate your interpretation of your own identity
also don’t feel bad about being inconsistent!! ever!!! i like telling myself:
maybe it is a phase but it’s not just a phase. it’s the phase i’m in and i deserve to explore it and have it be respected and feel valid, even if it changes
#the sillies#guys this is sorta important#ik i rambled a lot about myself but i promise there’s a message and point to it#lgbtq#nonbinary#nonbinary experience

Sorrow P1
Warnings: A-A-Angst!! Cheating character, intercourse, depressed reader, tattoos, piercings, hair dying, delayed emotions, mental illness (not outright stated buttt 🤷🏻♀️)
A/N: I didn’t cry while typing this 👀
I walk through the front door with enthusiasm. Once I place my bags down I call out to Katsuki but receive no response “Katsuki, handsome I’m home! I brought your favorite!” The house remains silent until I walk through the dinning room and into the living room. I hear some kind of noise coming from the bedroom. I try to process what I’m hearing as I walk up the stairs to our shared bedroom. I blink and furrow my brows at the strange sounds as I open the bedroom door. My heart shatters into a million pieces as I outline every detail of what I’m witnessing. Katsuki my boyfriend of 5 years and fiancé of 2 is pounding my classmate, Uraraka into our shared bed. I freeze. I’m incapable of registering how katsuki immediately jumps off the bed not even having the decency to pull up his boxers and attempts to lay down excuses. My head feel like the definition of white noise as I blink slowly. I don’t even hear what is it he’s saying, I turn around abruptly go back down the stairs and walk out the front door with sorrow instead of enthusiasm this time. Meanwhile Bakugou is following after me tragically calling for me. I start my car and shut the door. Bakugou runs up to my window and the slam of his hands on my window seems to be the moment I snap out of my trance, “Sapphire! Baby, please! W-where are you going?!” Just come inside and we can talk things out! I feel my mind and now empty chest freeze over at the thought of “talking things out”. I slowly turn toward him and look at him with empty, glass eyes as I start my car and pull out of the driveway, not bothering to make sure I don’t run him over or get in an accident. As I drive my mind starts racing along with my car. 48mph——65mph.. 80mph and eventually 100mph. I have no clue where I’m going and I don’t care. I just need.. nothing. I need to be somewhere, where nothing is wrong.. where nothing can go wrong. I continue driving for at least 7 hours until I run out of gas and clonk on the side of the highway. I sit in the drivers side in complete silence. My unwilling eyes look at my car clock, 1:07am it reads. I stare into the abyss for what feels like hours.. feeling nothing. Eventually the sun comes back around to bring its morning light. I rub my eyes and breathe through my nose as I get out of my car or should I say Bakugou's “gift-to-me-car”. I start walking in the breakdown lane of the highway until I reach an exit labeled exit 45 ↗️ to Aomori. I decide this one is sufficient and I continue to walk until I reach an ATM and a hotel that look decent. I extract all my earnings for mine and Bakugous joint bank account and decide to set up in one of the inns. As the hotel keeper hands me the room key, “Here you are, enjoy your stay!” I look up at her and give her a small empty smile. I go into the hotel room I feel the cold sheets and smell the crisp hotel ventilated air. I rest on the bed not putting in effort to change clothes or even brush my teeth.

"There have been 21 Japanese F1 drivers, and 18 Australian. Pretty sure DR is the only one from WA, which was not an easy feat either."
I know people are not trying to compare the struggles of a privileged white man who has ALWAYS had endless love and support from fans to Yuki, who had to balance learning entirely new cultures + enhancing his English skills while also navigating his rookie season, who ALWAYS has people accusing him of only being on the grid because of "Honda," not talent (yeah ... I'm sure PR has nothing to do with Daniel being back either, it's those beautiful performances he put on in 2022 🙄) even though Yuki has dragged the worst car on the grid into points and is performing consistently now (there's already some bias and racism in looking at what Yuki is doing atm and still insisting he's "only on the grid due to his nationality." And while we're on the topic of nationality ... let's do talk about the racism Yuki faces. Ricciardo screeches in the paddock after being outqualified by his teammate 11 races in a row, everybody loves it, it's passion, etc. Ricciardo calls his car last year, a capable midfield car, "a bag of dicks," everyone loves it. Ricciardo hypes himself up with "let's f*cling go," everyone loves it. Yuki has complaints about his car after this recent race, basically having the slowest car despite the team bringing an upgrade package, everybody describes him as "hot-headed." He needs to calm down. Anytime he expresses the least bit of emotion, he's too hot-headed and aggressive, he needs to be more complacent and docile. Any time he curses, be it out of frustration or just messing around, hes too aggressive, he shouldn't use that language. The guy cannot even express normal emotions without racist stereotypes leading him to labeled as hot-headed and aggressive, yet we routinely see white men on the grid, Daniel included, applauded for similar behaviors. So, no, I'm sorry, compared to Yuki, Daniel isn't some victim who had it so hard. Probably the ONLY similarity there was Daniel having to leave home to race, but he also didn't face contending with major language and culture differences like Yuki did. That was one of the most ridiculous arguments I have ever read. Sorry, I know you weren't the one arguing that, I agreed with everything in your post, that response just angered me.
Anon you really spilled and phrased everything perfectly. I feel like that person was intentionally being obtuse and trying to make Daniel a victim in this situation.

LADY GAGA AT THE CHROMATICA BALL PREMIERE
Lady Gaga joined her little monsters at the screen premiere of her highly-anticipated HBO "Chromatica Ball" Tour Film last night which took place at the Nya Studios in Los Angeles.
Styling by Nicola Formichetti and Hunter Clem with assistance by Erica Valle and Frankie Benkovic. Hair by Frederic Aspiras, glam by Sarah Tanno-Stewart and nails by Miho Okawara, respectively.
Gaga turned up in Argentinian Berlin-based emerging designer SELVA which was based on his "[603.628]km²" collection.
Her look featured a laminated white muslin calico cotton one-shoulder jacket and matching corset dress cut in the memory of an apron, stenced with holes for multiple sterling silver hooks and chains. A white lacquered shoulder sculpture made of discarded car parts pulled the whole look together. It was created in only two days!
Cristian 'Selva' Huygens started by developing and creating costumes for performances he produces, as well as for exhibitions inside ATM banks and interventions in public spaces around Berlin. The collection was inspired by his last trip to Kyiv, Ukraine where he also presented a collection of designs at a local metro station.
He mainly focuses on using discarded materials, all kinds of fabrics, metal connectors, and car parts as armatures. Conceptually, he describes his brand in one word: Brutalism. Every construction detail and mistake is shown. When it happens, he makes them even more visible. As the designer calls it, he develops 'honest clothes,' following the Brutalism concept.
She completed her look with the Pleaser Xtreme-1020 white vinyl platform ankle boots with lace-up front.
Gaga then sat down for a Q&A session, wearing another Germany-based emerging designer: AZIZ, who she previously introduced to us by rocking his designs both on-stage and on-screen at the tour!
This time, he crafted her a custom look which comprised a black stretch jersey long-sleeved elongated dress with a silicone drip-covered stiffened mesh cocoon structure with peek-a-boo slit for the head to come through, and matching gloves.
She crowned the look with a Philip Treacy Fall/Winter 2018 intricate black lace mask.
Our girl also rocked a bunch of white-gold and diamond rings by two French labels. The first ring is Djula's Délicatesse geometric lines large ring (€2,700).
The three other rings are all signed by AKILLIS and included the Tattoo large ring (€8,500), the Tattoo slim ring (€2,900) and the Capture Me ring (€5,250).
I couldn't help but notice how much the last ring resembles a bear trap, which is also depicted on the single cover for the first "Chromatica" single "Stupid Love", creating a great full circle moment.

Gaga rocked her signature sky-high Flamingo-1020 black vinyl platform boots from Pleaser.
The final look of the evening saw Gaga channeling her CBT "Sonnet" interlude by re-wearing her Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2002 "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" collection parachute coat which features a mandarin collar, eye-hook closure and exaggerated bishop sleeves, bubble back and train.
In McQueen's words: "This collection was inspired by Tim Burton. It started off dark and then got more romantic as it went along."
This coat was given to her by Daphne Guinness personally!
She also wore the matador-inspired black jacquard silk mask headpiece Philip Treacy created for Lee's collection.
For the short and black nails, Miho used the Aprés Gel Couleur in "Birnam Wood". Both the base and top coats are by Presto.

did u know they used real traditional witch craft in the originals
carina searched up old spells and would switch the words around and add them to the script until someone from New Orleans called them when s2 was airing and told them to stop
but they still didnt
Once again white people taking over shit that doenst belong to them and then dismissing the actual concerns
Okay, i just woke up and Im sick so if its some errors in this im sorry lol. Brain is not functioning atm - massive headaches & all.
Yeah! I’ve seen that video on tiktok recently not only did Carina Mackenzie admitted she struggle writing spells but continued to google and use someone else’s culture. Then her and Riley both laughed about the phone call. Weird as hell given that’s someone’s actual culture and practice.
There’s one thing to not believe in someone’s culture (juju, voodoo, hoodoo…) etc but if you’re constantly pulling and nitpicking at it for your own content you have no room to label someone crazy. It’s even worst when you look TO’s version of New Orleans compared to other versions of New Orleans in media. Everyone in TO’s version is white, besides a few characters but for the majority from the main cast to the background characters are white. Yet, you have New Orleans depicted in Princess in the frog—diverse, AHS:Coven-diverse. We really didn’t get black main characters (and they were temporary) until fans complained and TO frequently did a body-jump as placeholders.
There’s also another instance of how the writers took and manipulated culture is in (2x13) when the wolves are throwing/laying brooms at Jayley’s door, which Jackson explained “jumping the broom” meant jumping into bed with your partner. When jumping the broom was created during slavery and never about rushing to have sex with your partner.
There’s more to name that occurred but yeah white people will use up someone else’s culture and get mad you dare correct them on it. I mean look at how they react when black women tell them not to wear box braids. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

at the risk of sounding like an idiot (inner critic is telling me im obviously feeling this way because i want an explanation to shirk responsibility, even tho i know thats not true), the feeling/pondering of whether or not i have avoidant personality disorder has propped into my head again
my critic says "its just circumstantial atm youre just being mentally ill" but idk. its a disorder that i wondered if i had like 9-10 years ago too, and i feel like my current extreme isolation/withdrawal was something i kinda....knew? would happen? based on my history and feelings that have persisted for years. living on the other side of the world to my old life has just simply made those bad thoughts easier to give into. i had that inkling inside me...because i live in constant fear of rejection and just. a lot of fear
reading up on fearful attachment style has also made me go. damn.,
and i hate wondering this because i always feel so cringe when throwing out a psychology term, because i understand the complexities of this stuff. similar behaviours can be due to different reasons. but idk. i feel like the criteria describes me entirely, and my personality has always been one where...it would make sense if i developed that specific personality disorder ya know? it explains every single aspect of my line of thinking and how i perceive things.
i might consider bringing it up to my therapist but idk if shes just gonna assume im thinking this because of my current isolation, and i feel stupid trying to validate my case and being "no ive been like this for literally 10+ years, source: dude trust me" but eughghghghg....
trying to figure yourself out sux. and its not like im trying to black and white label myself as one thing so i can be like "welp i have avpd sooooooo lol <3" but moreso of like. wow if thats whats actually wrong with me then i can tackle it. i dont have to feel like a unsolvable puzzle thats doomed to these behaviour patterns forever.
i wish i could allow myself to start healing.
