every batch has an extra brother. the brother needs neither pod nor rations, and he doesn't take part in flash training or live fire drills. he doesn't speak. he doesn't sleep. he doesn't scream.

the silent brother is the one constant in a clone's existence.

in his sealed mouth are the names and designations of every sibling gone before; those that are taken in the night by the longnecks, and those taken in the day by a trainer's hand. he keeps the names safe beneath his still tongue. the day will come to speak them back.

in his cupped hands has passed every drop of clone blood spilled on kamino; he catches the blood of cuts, burns, blaster bolts, and beatings. there is a sea on kamino that roils clone red. the day will come when the waters rise.

in his shadow is a doorway. some siblings cross through early, under their own power or anothers', and some stand at the threshold for hours or days before turning back. the shadow of the silent brother can be found on kamino. geonosis. coruscant. everywhere a clone walks, the silent brother's shadow is at their heels, waiting to welcome them home.

me: you know i feel salty about how toh handled its characters of colour. let me go to the toh critical tags maybe i'll find people who share my sentiments.

every other fucking post is about how killing belos was bad or about how huntlow is bad. not a single post about how willow and gus got the short end of the stick in terms of screentime, ESPCIALLY gus whose episode was overshadowed by lumity, not a single post about how raine was reduced to eda's love interest and most of their screentime was them being brainwashed. not a single post about the copious amounts of white favourtism in the fandom to the point that they talk more about amity than luz, who they reduce to being amity's gf. no, lets advocate for the white colonizer!

Is calico a hugger like Tangle, or is she more touch-adverse like whisper?

Calico loves a good hug! 😁 But they are selective in who they initiate them with, mainly because they have trouble reading who likes physical touch and who doesn't without asking first. Jade is their closest friend, and the two of them are ALWAYS invading each other's personal space in some regard. 😂 The two of them are practically attached at the hip when they are together!

watching the season one finale of Ghost Whisperer was so crazy my mom was like "yeah that happened here once" and I was like huh????? so I looked it up and yeah when my mom was 11 a whole ass plane fell out of the air and crashed into a residential park.
