"No. You are getting the Paella, with me, because I'm not going to finish that up all by myself." Dio was completely unaware that his friend was struggling with money, and he didn't think anything of the order. "Besides, we are here to have fun and hang out, not to worry about money." He smiled at him, the most that he had probably done in years.

"You've never had paella with me before. Please, I bet you're going to love it." Dio admitted finding a seat as well next to his friend. It's been a while since they did things like this, and he missed it, his heart beating madly within his chest, and his hands were trembling with emotion. "This view is amazing, right?" he commented, staring at the beautiful city. "In a few minutes the sun will come down and turn everything in gold." He smiled at his friend.

Minutes later the waiter arrived, bringing a couple of soft drinks to the pair, letting them continue to check on the menu. Dio worried not, he already knew what he wanted, thus when he asked if they were ready, he ordered for the pair the best paella, with red snapper and king prawns, rice with saffron, his favorite.

Then he was left with his friend, and his bright smile returned to his face.

"So, I think we haven't talked about the most important thing—," he said, pulling his phone to set it on mute for the next hour. "—you don't have to worry about fans or anything up here. This place is a club, so, only members can access it, and the paparazzi isn't allowed." A quick wink and Dio leaned back on the couch. "So, the most important thing we haven't talked about: are you dating anyone?"

‘Sí! It is…’ The words failed to find him. The place was stunning. And León had always wondered what it was like on the inside, ever since they passed it on the way to school as boys.

He almost draped himself across the railing that overlooked the city. Barcelona was everything he needed. And seeing it from up here was a marvel. It took some coaxing to convince him to take a seat at the table.

But León immediately clammed up when he saw the menu. A simple dish was twenty euros. And the drinks were insane. He laughed as he stared down at it. He worked like a horse to get money and recognition. But theatre shows and photoshoots were hardly enough for his rent and debts.

‘I think I’ll get a chicken salad,’ he said slowly. ‘I have a football thing soon.’ It wasn’t a total lie, but at least Dio would think it was his body he was worried about, not his wallet. ‘And our show. I need to get in character.’
