#video#elevenlabs#i've been fucking obsessed with these stupid fucking elevenlabs dubbed videos#specifically a friend sent me a ytp sexer dub and i absolutely lost it (laughing)#so i wanted to try a few videos out myself to see what the site would do with them#for some reason my first thought was to use bozo dubbed over#''i... i...... i.... ah..... i hope nobody leaves'' fucking killed me#i only did like 5 videos to see what it'd end up generating but usually if the audios too clear it'll just repeat what was said#except in the ai voices that it uses#the second video i did was just bozo dubbed over again. but that version is like really evil for no reason#third video was hotel mario high quality. and it basically says what they already say but with weird annunciations and the likes#fourth video being meet the sniper. it wasnt exactly what i wanted but it did alter a few lines#the final one just being hotel mario again but lower quality. which did result in me laughing really hard#granted. all of them made me laugh really hard to some extent#for the record. i didnt do any alterations except just make it dub from english to english#i don't know if there's more you can do with it. i don't think i can make any more without making a new account#unless the limit resets every week or so

i swear literally every time i even mention that i dislike something, people will go "wow does that mean u fucking hate me cuz i post that thing? ur a fucking stupid bitch and all ur opinions r wrong" LIKE ?? er.. no. just because i say i dont like certain characterizations of certain characters (the saiki k fandom is CRAZY about this cuz i can state an opinion on literally any character and a group of people will still go 'well only we're allowed to post our opinions about them because we're always right!1!1!'), or certain ship tropes (mentioned my hatred of toxic yaoi maybe once or twice on here months ago and people STILL get mad at me as if i said toxic yaoi lovers r evil or something), or certain ships, or WHATEVER, does not mean that i HATE the people who are posting them or that i think they shouldnt post them at all, NO, im just posting about my personal tastes on my personal blog and it would be extremely weird and hypocritical if i decided that i was the ONLY person that was allowed to do that,,

no actually I’d like to hear your thoughts on the isat ending
Like i said it felt really tropey and by that i meant that it’s just Everything Good Happens forever and…..that’s it ? like idk we were building up to this huge catharsis sort of thing and then we got to it and it was so sudden and not a good payoff and just kind of nothingburger of an ending . the fact that everyone just forgives siffrin bothers me, or at least the fact that they don’t confront them about the shit they’ve said and done. call me a mental illness villainizer but i think if you’re a fucking asshole and doing the most insensitive things to the people you care about then hey, i think those ppl have a right to fucking tell you off for it. likeeee idk being at your lowest point …… not an excuse …. not feeling it chief ……. like sure the message is to move past your mistakes or whatever but ? that doesn’t mean just getting away with it ??? and i just really don’t understand Why everyone forgives him. honestly at the end of the day the ending is just one problem, the root of which are the characters. everyone feels like trope cardboard cutouts. oh, this is the smart one. this is the smol bean. this is the himbo. and they all care for each other btw. Did u hear that? they all care for each other. we’re not really going to explain to you why these people are so close or what they went through together but just trust me man they’re sooo found famy. like …. okay. i’ve played 30 hours of this game and not once did i buy that any of the characters really cared about each other. like??? why???? You’re telling me everyone super cares about siffrin even though they barely know them?? you’re telling me siffrin cares about everyone sooo much even though he never even bothered to find out their problems before ? Wat ? and this just breaks the ending more because literally whyyy do these people care about him so bad. and then it’s just whyyy does siffrin Have to tell them anything he doesn’t even seem to know them that well. everyone feels like colleagues and Just Friends at best. and so the ending just seems really forced. like it was written by that type of tumblr user who’s always talking about aww why does the found family have to break up after the end of the journey :( which is like fiiiiine. i guess. but u guys know that u have to build up to it right?? you can’t just tell me they’re Family Members(tm) 102829 times and that they super care about each other source: trust. you can’t just do that and then expect me to believe it ….. It feels unearned. the ending feels unearned and i don’ttttt understand what i’m supposed to take away from it . that it’s ok to fuck people up because you’re traumatized and insecure?? that you have to talk about your deepest problems with people you barely know??? i just dont know. Like i said if im being honest the problems with this game’s writing are more than just the ending, it just stands out so much because there’s a lot of build up and then just …… That
#honest to god if you want a Good Example of a story like this just look at dungeon meshi#we start the story from the end of the characters’ journey. they all don’t know each other very well and they’re just working together#hell they don’t even like each other that much. And then as the story develops and they go through their journey we get to see them bond and#get closer and fight and make up and admit they care about each other and still be mad at each other#nobody even gives a fuck about laios at the beginning of the story but by the end of it they’re all willing to die for him. THAT feels#earned. when marcille super fucks up and everyone tells her off for it but still wants to just make sure she’s ok That feels earned#like honest to god i’d take marcille’s arc any day than whatever’s siffrin going on#i just feel like this game suffers from a chronic Tell Dont Show syndrome. we get old over and over again that these characters are close#told*#and that they care about each other. And that’s just ….. not a way to write a story ………#when all the characters exist just to comfort the Whump Main it’s like how am i supposed to get invested. in any of this#u know when the dev replied to someone who was asking them how to write a story and they just said ‘glue your fav tropes together until it#becomes a story’? Well i think that is isat’s main problem. it’s not really a story. it doesn’t really have characters#it’s just a bunch of tropes in a trench coat. #and this is not about long vs short vs emoji comments#this is about what you actually choose to say to total strangers#the current debate on that sub is whether it is rude to comment on a fic only to gush about the commissioned art#I don't know who needs to hear this but commenting on a fic and not talking about the fic at all is rude#that's the long and the short of it#going onto a fic to talk about something random or your friend oryour fic or some art and saying nothing about the story in front of you#that is rude#it is always rude#r/aO3 seems to believe that commenters can do no wrong#which is an insane take btw#but every fucking interaction on AO3 is a social interaction#you are engaging with strangers#and nobody would stand in line at a book signing and tell the author 'I really loved the cover art' and say nothing else#if they did everyone would think that person was wack#including the fucking authork

No bc fuck tim but it really really bothers me how people ignore his growth like he used to be an asshole and I’ll give tim Stans one thing: now he’s so so so stale but what I disagree with is that this staleness is bc nobody likes him like it’s in fact the exact opposite where everyone likes him so much they dont want to do anything. Even when it’s him surface level challenging Bruce it’s when everyone else is doing it too; but he’s still the backbone of the fam! Etc. and it’s so irritating bc him gaining more compassion and empathy even for people he doesn’t fw is so fun to watch and that’s why the captain boomerang thing was so out of character! (Not in a from the author way but in a tim wouldn’t do that and he and Bruce both knew it which is why it went down like it did. Same way dick killing joker was ooc; not in fanon sense but in a he would hate himself forever for this sense) and speaking of that it’s such an interesting mirror to Bruce who genuinely believes that everyone can grow vs Tim’s it doesn’t matter if they grow it’s not my decision to make like it’s the same but it’s not AND WITH CASS’ IT DOESNT MATTER IF THEY CHOOSE NOT TO GROW I WONT DO IT! like ugh. And anyways even when people acknowledge it they boil it down to “Janet and Jack taught him that the capitalist pigs that they are” like no. This is who tim was. This is Comedy, and he has a partner named Tragedy. Both are masked, if that wasn't already obvious. I haven't drawn Tragedy yet though so like. He'll be revealed later lmao.
I'm debating giving them actual names but I'm getting attached to just calling them Comedy and Tragedy, even if that is a REALLY basic naming convention for them.

so,,, does anyone else lose braincells when it comes to the mdzs fandom??? like there was this post that basically goes saying that forget about jiang cheng and lan wangji being jealous about each other when it comes to wei wuxian, the one that is winning is wen ning since wwx leaves everything to save and protect the wens, and then i see some tags talking about how wwx has his own weird moral code and wen ning is it's first victim... there is somethung about these sentences that just made me sick, it just felt so wrong?? am i the one who couldn't interpret anything in those books?? wasn't wangxian the ones that mxtx said to be morally perfect?? am i the one in the wrong?? it's been 10 minutes and i feel my brain has melted
why does wwx get painted as the villain even by his fans, when the whole plot was how he was prosecuted and villanized, judged by the the surface of his actions, when nothing about the situations and his actions itself was as simole as black and white. also calling wen ning his victim made me feel kinda of violated, like im a yiling siblings and yiling settlement supporter and truther and im kinda of suck of everyone disminishing and ignoring the relationship between them.

Even when fans claim to like Wei Wuxian, the fandom perception of him is so pervasive and (has been since the original fandom BNFs became jc stans) that people will describe some of his most somber, thoughtful moments like they are crimes that we can joke about only because it’s fictional, as a irl!wwx would be “deserving of jail” (or some shit 🙄). It’s why I’m not afraid to say that some people are decidedly not fans/stans of his character, they are fans/stans of the memes involving his character. And everyone knows that the meaner and ruder you are about something in a meme, the funnier it is /sarcasm.
