being someone who's passionate about their interests when you're a horror fan really is a special layer of hell because every interaction you have with another person where the conversation turns to your hobbies and personal entertainments is a trial where if you show too much unrepentant glee at getting an opportunity to talk about your preferred subject you get to watch them mentally move you onto their list of untrustworthy individuals to avoid in the future in real time

I am also getting myself into to mood to test my hand at boarding a pmv for my friend's cover #I think my thought for this was ''I should try and give her a more insectoid bodyplan''#which in this mostly means gently three-part body and six limbs (my favourite amount of limbs to draw rn)#actually almost gave her eight but didnt like how that silhouette came out so I mermaided her uh. abdomen I guess #though maybe next time I do this I should push that idea more. the head and torso are still very distinct for one unified part #I feel like one of my old attempts was onto something with like. a more horizontal body plan... well! live and learn etc #happy late mid autumn I guess. #stobotnik #doctor ivo robotnik #agent stone #sonic movie universe #i hope you all are noticing what i'm doing with stone's clothes specifically #white shirt pre robotnik black to fit his goth boss then colors when ivo starts wearing red #also i know we all like to think robotnik hated being assigned an agent but i present to you:#he sees it as a symbol of status kinda. stone hates being here #it just feels right to me. it's not that robotnik thinks the agent will be useful at all #he's just pleased that he got one #everyone else has an assistant why shouldn't he?#this ties to a very very stupid headcanon i have #and it's that robotnik's blood type is O negative #HEAR ME OUT he would hate that. he would hate being an universal donnor because he doesn't care about saving lives of humans ew #but then stone is also O negative so that means robotnik can receive blood from him if necessary #and that's mostly the reason why he was chosen to be his assistant #ivo is too important to die! and O negative blood isn't that common #Stone knows but probably no one told robotnik #then of course imagine stone getting injured and needing blood and ivo is like wait i can do that it doesn't matter what his blood type is #you get the point #i think. i'm pretty sure there was a point #oh well #oh the no hr joke. they're a shady goverment organization i don't think they treat their people that well #that being said maybe robotnik's treatment of stone was the reason they had to get an hr department who knows

the thing is I am still thinking about that bit in conclave right before they're about to vote when the breath of wind & birdsong comes in through the window that had recently been violently blown in to let the light and air into what has til then been a suffocatingly still & sterile & dark & enclosed environment & it ruffles all the pages on the desks & they all pause and look up. like oh god is there

#SORRYY I feel cringe posting about this because a) i emphatically don't believe in god in real life and b) the catholic church enough said #but i feel like i feel like one can really engage with it within the premise that for the film. within the film. god does exist you know #in a really lovely way they've done really well. that's simultaneously really subtle and really forceful (much like the violent blast versu #the breath of air & birdsong)#thoughts #the bit in his the beginning where he's like 'i hope the holy spirit comes and moves us in the right direction' and it sounds SO #hollow & SO trite & you can tell he's mostly just saying it because he should but then in the end of the movie it really #does come in a way totally unrelated to All That nonsense. & it's shocking & touching to hear despite being only wind & birdsong #conclave
