So much of the shows were about connecting and coming together - clothes to help you get close. Intimacy or just expressions of love. Maybe that's why weddings are so popular right now - everyone believes in it more than they believe in themselves.

One of my favourite things about smaller brands is that they include older women in their casting and shows which shows that maybe a small slice of their buyers are older women who want to dress in more powerful ways or acknowledging that women are menswear buyers where the bigger players reject that. Maybe because womenswear is big money and they can't afford to fracture their customer base apart each season.

So much of Prada reminded me of Robin Hood, this sort of medieval shoe which is made from leather. This exit from the house into clothes less aggressive, smoother and flatter onto the body...

Mulder and Scully, I guess. The will-they?/won't-they? kept me going for such a long time and now I simply do not care. I thirst over Gillian Anderson like a normal human being and pretend the show ended after season six.

The first fandom I got heavily involved in online was NGE so I'm fairly sure it was Shinji x Asuka or Shinji x Rei as the little message board I was part of skewed very heavily male.

I have in the past but I try to keep my nose out of it these days. Life is too short and I am too old to be fighting with people online. People can have different opinions to me and that's fine, even if they are wrong 😂

Did you use to have any NOTP or have one currently?

No. Certain pairings aren't for me, for sure, but I don't devote enough thought-bandwidth to them to actually declare them a NOTP. They just don't exist in my reality 😅

Not that I can think of. I would give most things a chance if they're well-written, I think. But some things aren't for me and that's okay too.

I was never into it as a ship, BUT, back in the day I did read a Sansa Stark x Tywin Lannister longfic and it was fucking incredible and I absolutely rooted for them as a couple and the story was told so beautifully. I would 100% be cancelled for shipping Sansa and Tywin, but this fic was amazing and idgaf if people cancel me for saying so ☝️(famous last words?)

We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow exhibition February 2 through April 16, 2023 

The Ontario Museum of History & Art and guest curators Riea Owens and Dr. Patricia Jessup-Woodlin invite you to our upcoming exhibition, We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, running from Thursday, February 2, to Sunday, April 16, 2023. The Preamble states, "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." From an open call, 61 artists were selected and will be on view in three of the Museum’s galleries. The artworks on view question and interpret the Preamble's complexities and contradictions.

We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow brought an overwhelming number of excellent submissions that made the selection process challenging for the guest curators. The artworks will move the audience through a multitude of emotions as they consider such wide ranging topics as the racial divide, social injustice, voter suppression, environmental concerns, women's rights, immigration reform, and more.

This is an excellent opportunity for the museum audience to view a vast diversity of art and artists representative of We the People, said guest curator Dr. Patricia Jessup-Woodlin. This exhibit combines diverse artistic approaches, including site-specific installations, multimedia works, and traditional media such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, and collage, to challenge and engage the viewer on these political issues. Through the power of art, the exhibition hopes to inspire empathy, understanding, and a sense of shared purpose among its audience as we work together to create a more just and equitable society for all. The community is invited to the artist reception on Saturday, February 18, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Also, join us for a moderated conversation on March 4, 2023, from 2 PM to 4 PM, with guest curators Riea Owens and Dr. Patricia Jessup-Woodlin, and artists featured in We the People. The discussion will focus on artistic practices and perspectives about the Preamble’s phrase “We the People.” The Museum’s programs are held on-site and are free to the public. WeeMe is a very selfish bird-in-training who only has two nays under her care. She is very competitive and determined to obtain more nays, but nays tend to dislike her. The only two that she takes care of felt bad for her because she didn't have any. She is also one of the bird-in-trainings who sees the number of nays one has as a sign of status, which doesn't help her self-confidence. WeeMe is still very pushy and overbearing. In her free time, she likes writing poetry and stories.
