A conversation I had with a friend the other day made me realise that I've read more books in the Warhammer series than I have in any other book series.

On a somewhat related note, here's my first Chaos Space Marine model, in Iron Warriors colours.

So for wholesome reasons only is there any chance you have pictures of Szarekh's model close up from the front and from the back sans-cape? For some reason all the pictures online think I really want to see him on his throne.

I would prefer this reference be used for completely degenerate reasons, but sure! It just so happens I have him assembled but not placed in the throne.

Just had a bottle of orange paint explode on my and fly everywhere and get on my clothes but praise the Omnissiah! It’s a Sanguinala miracle! No paint got onto the minis. I was cackling hysterically when it happened though.

On another note, I’ve gotten all my minis main coloring painted! Now it’s just details and metallic bits.

Continued to paint my Deathwing finally. Bow the red bits are red, I've painted the Aquila on the chest. Time to stick the heads where they belong.

Building Wh40k minis is so great. Not only do you get a respite from worrying about the world around you, you also get a neat little dude.

Can confirm, men will do anything but therapy.

I don't know near as much of the Sisters of Battle lore as I wish I did, but holy shit, do I love how their models look.

Celestine The Living Saint and a couple other sisters of battle. I do love the original red, white and gold design of their armor, but I had to do something special for those wings. I was so afraid I wouldn't like the pastels in the end, but it was a very much trust the process kind of thing.

They were primed white to start and then hit with all the colors pictured below.

...I may have spent the rest of the day building the Land Raider. I kinda don't want to close it up because the details inside are nice

When my husband was getting me into it and showing me the models I said I would probably do Tyranids first because I thought all the other ones where ugly, especially space marines (Now they’re my first and favorite)

When my husband was telling me about the lore and the Primarch’s and how they can’t have kids I said “so none can have kids?” And he said “no, except maybe Fulgrim. He might be able to get pregnant right now.”

The week I got into Warhammer I didn’t care if I didn’t know enough, I made an OC race which eventually evolved into offspring of Primarch’s. I wanted feral and cute space kobolds

I have my next ten armies listed out for when I finish one. I will have all the models and all the factions

I have 291 wips and one shots of Warhammer fics and oc lists

TTS introduced me to Lucius first and I still imagine him like that.

I have threatened my husband that I will build a Tau army with only Kroot because he says he doesn’t really want them with all his crisis suits.

when i first heard of nykona sharrowkyn, i thought the character was a human woman.

i honestly envisioned magnus the red as looking like leman russ with black hair till i saw art for leman and magnus for the first time.
