So for wholesome reasons only is there any chance you have pictures of Szarekh's model close up from the front and from the back sans-cape? For some reason all the pictures online think I really want to see him on his throne.

I would prefer this reference be used for completely degenerate reasons, but sure! It just so happens I have him assembled but not placed in the throne.

Just had a bottle of orange paint explode on my and fly everywhere and get on my clothes but praise the Omnissiah! It’s a Sanguinala miracle! No paint got onto the minis. I was cackling hysterically when it happened though.

On another note, I’ve gotten all my minis main coloring painted! Now it’s just details and metallic bits.

Building Wh40k minis is so great. Not only do you get a respite from worrying about the world around you, you also get a neat little dude.

Can confirm, men will do anything but therapy.

back at it again with 2 new sillymanders to add to the heap !! their names are patty(or Patrick) short for patrician (left), and Ryan short for centurion (right). (I was watching a classics lecture while I was finishing their bases)

I don't know near as much of the Sisters of Battle lore as I wish I did, but holy shit, do I love how their models look.

Celestine The Living Saint and a couple other sisters of battle. I do love the original red, white and gold design of their armor, but I had to do something special for those wings. I was so afraid I wouldn't like the pastels in the end, but it was a very much trust the process kind of thing.

They were primed white to start and then hit with all the colors pictured below.

Vizzik Skour, Prophet of the Great Horned Rat. Probably my favourite mini I've ever painted. I love him, he's like. Quintessentially Grimdark to me. Dark Souls Boss energy

I got you, I joined the fandom and hobby in June

Table top is the actual game. It started out as that and is the main game. They’ve recently updated with 10th edition to make things more simple.

I’d recommend watching “40K in 40 Minutes” by Play on table top. They film matches between experienced players and condense it to a forty minute block. That’s how I was first introduced as my spouse watched them.

Yes you can be a heretic. You don’t even have to be a space marine. Plenty of factions to choose from.

Finding people to play with is like finding people to play DND with. Games are usually one on one/vs. and if there’s a game store near you some places will have events or even just having people coming to play. The one near me has a second floor dedicated for people to play at.

There is a starter kit that gives you three easy to put together minis, paint, and a paint brush: Here

I found that just starting painting and learning as you go is commonplace and the best way.

Minis are known to be expensive. You can get cheaper 3D printed from places like Etsy. Used on EBay. Deals on Amazon. Games Workshop releases boxes with deals usually around Christmas. There’s also Reddit to get cheaper minis. Some gaming shops resell used minis they just can’t really broadcast it otherwise GW gets upsetti spaghetti.

Honestly feel free to ask questions. There’s reddits meant for asking painting questions and things about the games and minis.

So Can anyone help me figure out tabletop Warhammer 40k

yes I get it's like a roll dice and follow all the necessary rules. And yes I know. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube for me to learn how to use Tabletop but still I don't understand is table top like the actual game? Where do I start? How do I paint the miniatures is everything so expensive? WHO DO I PLAY WITH?! do I have to play with strangers? Is it like DND matches? AND CAN YOU BE A HERETIC... We're do you play? SOMEONE HELP ME LOL

So ive been using Warhammer transfers on my nails. Time to get ready for using nail transfers on my minis.

I found nail transters that said “kill you” and “fuck you” (and lol in a gothic font) and they will be perfect for my marines.

Friend got a mini and asked me to paint it. We had a shared vision of stained glass window wings. I definitely hit my skill ceiling on this one and was reminded I'm no good at sharp clean lines.
