Evil Jiraiya au thoughts? 🤔

Hell yeah! 100% down. If in the canon verse I imagine he is sneaky, conniving. He gets people to trust him before destroying what they care about or getting what he wants. He’s incredibly manipulative and could sell practically anyone on anything he says. He’s slippery to catch as he never stays in one place for long. He doesn’t stir up a mass amount of trouble to stay on the top of the radar. He picks his battles carefully. But when he does it’s devastating. There would be plenty of times Konoha would think he maybe died as he hasn’t been heard about in years. Only for him to strike and strike hard, causing quite a stir.

I can imagine a few outcomes. If he decided late in life to fuck over the village he’d wait. Wait for the perfect opportunity to strike while everyone still trusted him. Maybe help Orochimaru take over Konoha. Maybe not. Maybe still help the snake man be put at bay but accept the position of Hokage to pull the village apart at the helm. Full warlord on them. He doesn’t pick a lot of battles to drain resources or man power but he’d make the place more hostile and cut off.

Another outcome would be he plays another long game. Gets Naruto like in canon as a student. And when the 2 years are up, 2 years of isolating the boy from the village and waiting on the plans to go into motion, he simply drops Naruto off at an agreed location for the Akatsuki to take him… Having been loyal to his eldest students the whole time.

If younger idk if he’d pick a side. Maybe for a while for protection in numbers as he found his footings in the other side. Such as resources and whatnot. Maybe have a lot of beats similar to Orochimaru when he defected. But ultimately his gripes and battles are his own and belong to no group. He asks no one to fight with him for his views. But should you stand in his way he’ll rip you apart. Could be revenge. A man who lost all faith in his village after so many he loved had died for it with no change. Maybe he’s just crazy. Lost his mind and went off the rails. Maybe he was just born evil. He picked his path and despite everything he was given it was one of ruin.

The first time Gortash meets the Chosen one of Bhaal, he asks for their name.

No one calls them by their name in their temple, instead sticking to “Chosen” or “Herald.” The Chosen of Bhaal looks at him like he said something funny and responds.

“Pick one.”

So Gortash does. And thus begins a pattern.

Are they going on a stealth mission and need an alter ego? Gortash pick a name.

What should Gortash’s guards call them when they visit through the front entrance? “Pick a name , Enver, it’s not like I go through the front door anyway.”

What name should he give to a comrade who could use an assassin on hire? “Think of something clever, you always do.”

It’s not that the Chosen of Bhaal doesn’t have a name, he learns. They did once. But then their father called them to his service and “a surgeon doesn’t name their knife” and well, a steady name seemed kind of pointless. Titles worked just fine and well, an assassin benefits from having quite a few alter egos. Until Gortash, they really didn’t talk to anyone enough outside the Temple for a name to even be needed.

It’s a fucked up dynamic, really. Gortash can have the illusion of control over this Bhalspawn with the names , but its control that’s given freely. They are something he wants to control but never truly can. He is something they should destroy but don’t desire to.

Much later, the Former Chosen of Bhaal walks into Gortash’s coronation. He grins, and asks them “what name should I call you this time friend?”

When they respond with an actual name, he almost can’t hide his surprise.

bee's protective nature over anyone persists even as a ghost & i think he sometimes forgets or doesn't care that only star can see him (sadly no touch tho) & will start shouting & angrily try standing between people who are mad at starscream even tho he can't be seen, he just wants to try & help anyways bcs STOP IT >:(!! BE NICE !!!! cried the ghost no one can hear or see except for the poor guy getting yelled at & trying to overhear the conversation over bee's frantic rebuttals while trying to discreetly let bee know it's ok while ALSO trying not to look Insane .

Does anybody else get INTENSE 03 Teen Titans RobStar vibes from "this side of paradise" by Coyote Theory?

I always wonder if we never got the kiss in trouble in tokyo, How would season 6 handle it? Honestly, I feel like "this side of paradise" really just matches the vibe perfectly that I always feel with these two.

Like there's so many lines that just scream out as an insomnia night conversation between Robin and Starfire, on the roof of Titans tower.

Like their shooting the shit, doing their best friend thing, and Starfire asks him, "Are you lonely?"

Robin is shaken, and he opens up to her. Slowly revealing more and more bits about himself. Teeny tiny droplets of vulnerability and our favorite alien meet each little crack in Robins armor with gentleness and light jokes, maybe stories to match her childhood.

Robin can't stop thinking about her question, "Are you lonely?"

Their time together is calm and comfortable and so easy. They end up talking for hours, pretty much all night.

until Starfire mentions the ferris wheel during their first 'not a date'. Robin laughs, and without realizing it, he puts his hand on Starfires. She doesn't draw attention to it.

He gently rubs one of his fingers against the top of her knuckles. It's a subconscious little tick. It's just nice for him to let the walls down, even if it's just this tiny bit.

Robin sees Starfire try her best to hide a yawn. He briefly panics. He desperately wants to keep talking. To let her in..

"Hey, star? Did I ever tell you I grew up in a circus?"

And just like that, an entire new set of stories. Robin tries his best to keep it all happy.

"I had a marshmallow belt to help train the monkeys!"

"..and that's how I learned to never taunt the ring leader."

"You've never seen fire jugglers OR sword swallowers?? In 3 phone calls, I can have a personal show in our living room. When's your birthday?"

"..yup. an acrobat. No human is naturally this flexible without practice. "

"Wanna see me do a walking hand stand?"

As the sun comes up, Starfire literally begins to glow. From the UV rays and just the general joy she feels from how this night turned out, her hair goes aflame from the newfound energy. She hovers up and takes it in. Robin is doing that "pretty girl brain rot." Thing. His new topic of conversation just dwindles out while he watches her.

A warm smile spreads on his face.

Their eyes meet.

It was there, that Opheria proceeded to slaughter each and everyone of the apprentices. It seemed she somehow had a hand in this sudden attack on the Order of Palms. Gjör D'annevual survived a sword through the 'heart', on account of a rare condition, that places her heart on the other side of her chest. When she finally managed to bring herself back home, the Order was insulted by her survival. She had so many better peers, why couldn't any of them have survived? This runt was seriously the only thing that survived Opherias wrath? It was better to just wash their hands clean of this. Thus the Order decided to banish Gjör from their ranks. She now travels the land in search of a purpose.
