I feel bad for Starlo.
Star has a point, idk what the four were ticked off about, there is like 99% chance everyone willingly participated in the trolley problem, based on what we've seen of his behavior thus far it's not like Starlo to be that big of a jerk/drag them by force/yell at them to do it. Ed's words:
he does it because Star asks NICELY
clearly jealous
It genuinely seemed like a fun time/fun roleplay, especially since every day is the same. Like, the five are supposed to be a rowdy and adventures bunch, what exactly did Starlo do wrong, I'm genuinely confused and curious. Except taking a big liking in Clover (his posse should know that this is a big moment for him, according to Blackjack they've known each other since high school and had the same liking for westerns. So they were basically a nerd gang.) Starlo was kind, patient and considerate towards Clover the whole time, even warned Mooch about them not being bandits, taught Clover gun safety, wanted to bring his posse along for a fun time, thanked Ace for telling him about getting Clover a new hat...
Sure, at first he only liked Clover for being a human, but as Ceroba says, that changed and he grew to genuinely care about them, plus I can't help but think Star saw himself in Clover and that's part of the reason he was so proud of them all the time even when they messed up (I'll talk more about this at some point)
What exactly made Ace want to leave the gang? He even said how he doesn't mind "getting run over by the fake train"
he's so nice. says sorry for forgetting the safety goggles even when he was scatterbrained due to his excitement. I love him so much
The only real "faults" (I'll call them temporary faults) I saw in Star during the Wild East section was that he was even more enthusiastic and more proud than usual. But how couldn't he be when he met a member of the species that he has admired for so long because they have real cowboys and sheriffs on the surface (who are seen as brave heroes who deliver justice, while Star canonically feels like a nobody farmer). His posse should have realized Clover wouldn't be there forever and just let their boss enjoy himself with his "deputy who'd have to leave sooner or later anyway"(or be more patient with him/ask him why he feels this strongly towards Clover/if there's a deeper reason for that). His friends including Ceroba just turn their back on him so quickly instead. The moment he's gotten the chance to feel valued for once and put himself first and not have to take care of this whole town and everyone in it and live his dream of meeting a real human, suddenly "his personality is damaged?"
Star's literally built this whole town, organised everything, he worries about everyone, Ceroba (plus was the one to give her emotional strength before and after Clover's sacrifice), Kanako, the monsters, his family, struggles with feelings of worthlessness yet never wipes that smile off his face, always does his best to be hopeful and optimistic and make others laugh, gave his posse a nap time so they don't become exhausted, gave Ceroba a free home, didn't act upon his feelings towards her and was a 110% supportive, caring friend instead. THAT'S who he is. He's the papa bear of this friend group, the glue holding everyone together.
He was just *really* excited. Y'all know he's insecure and just wishes to escape who he is and yet y'all blame him for liking Clover so much. Yeah, the four are very clearly jealous. But why won't the four of you control your feelings for a while? As mentioned, Clover WILL HAVE TO LEAVE EVENTUALLY. They won't be Star's "deputy" forever (the kid who's just as into westerns as he is, who values justice just as much, who also values doing the right thing. Someone he clearly felt understood in the presence of, whom he loved; just look at the way he talks about Clove during Showdown). Star seems genuinely confused of what he did wrong poor guy just wanted to live his fantasy for once and feel important:
Even at the beginning Moray's like "oh no Martlet is upset" Mooch replies "don't be a buzzkill nothing exciting ever happens around here" and Ray's like "Yeah you've got a point"
If you all agreed to have a little fun with a human who will very soon leave forever why is Starlo's enthusiasm such a big problem? If the posse weren't into this after all (unless they were simply too jealous which could have been solved with a honest talk and a little patience) why are you doing this "rowdy" job with Star in the first place? Do you want your boring routine day to day life so much back? Or just for Clover to leave (which they will soon enough)? You, western enthusiasts, literally met a real human, A HUMAN FROM WESTERNS YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PASSIONATELY INTO (clearly not as passionate as Star but passionate ENOUGH to understand where he's coming from).
... okay.
#Like idk if I'm being biased because Star is my favorite character but I kinda just started thinking more and more about this and... yeesh.#Felt like a BIT of an overreaction to blame Starlo this much#No wonder he cracked#and unlike with Ceroba we actually see him do his very best to “fix” what he did “wrong”#i feel so much sympathy for this guy man#WAY more than for Ceroba#sorry fox lady#uty#undertale yellow#starlo uty#uty starlo#like dude literally had to come crawling on his hands and knees for them to forgive him#what “loyal” “supportive” friends they all are#sobbing for star#poor poor man#meanwhile everyone forgave ceroba for much much MUCH worse#she didn't need to burst into tears and beg for forgiveness even though she SHOULD have#everyone forgives her immediately on the spot + she gets a hug from clover#I'm sorry Starlo#like how was he “selfish” and “reckless”#he did something for himself for the 1st time in his life#y'all are reckless too btw#you put yourself first ONCE and they call you selfish#Star had the right to be mad at them for attacking Clover for no reason other than jealousy#wdym he's throwing you around for human business you literally wanted this#he watched the tapes more than 50 times bc that's how much he hates himself#and yet he's still been doing EVERYTHING in his power to be there for EVERYBODY

I’d love to request a fic with a female reader and a angsty/comfort storyline with the Bad Batch.
For a broad storyline I was thinking something by along the lines of a female reader joining the Bad Batch (per Hunter’s idea) and Crosshair and/or Echo not being very happy about it. However they eventually they come around to having another girl in the group.❤️
Winning Approval
Clone Force 99 x Platonic!Reader
Summary- You felt as if you were living a purpose-less life, so when Hunter asks you to join his crew, you say yes! Not everyone on the force is as happy though... Takes place during and after Season 1, Ep. 2.
A/N- Thank you so much for requesting! I appreciate it so much, but I think I'm done writing platonic xD. This was sooo hard for me to write. I love the challenge, but i'm not sure how great my platonic writing skills are!
Word Count- 1,454
Growing up, helping people seemed natural. You remember discovering this when your old friend Kaiya fell and scratched her knee. It was second nature to dress her wound and comfort her. You were nine at the time.
Your mother enrolled you in medical classes as much as she could, you learned how to set bones, stitch holes, and treat infections. Amongst many other skills.
The city you lived in was soon taken over by the empire, but you found a way out before it was too late. That's where you found yourself- living with Suu and her husband Cut. The two had taken you in when they found out your home had been destroyed.
It didn't hurt when you found out you and Suu's parents knew each other in their youth.
When you had stumbled onto Hunter- he and his crew had set off a trap you had set in the fields. Your gun raised at him was lowered by Cut, claiming he knew them.
Things blurred together since then, everything moved so fast. Having to relocate away from the empire again was not something you fashioned. You were tired of running, and expressed your concerns.
Hunter initially suggested dropping you off at the planet of your choice, (a repayment for taking care of one of Omegas wounds).
Crash landing on a moon wasn't on anyone's roster, but it happened nonetheless. It did, however, give yourself an opportunity to prove yourself to them.
You helped Tech repair a part of the hyper-drive, earning his favor.
You shared your rations with Wrecker, earning his approval.
You played and entertained with Omega, earning her and Hunters trust.
Last was Echo. You wanted him to like you, as you enjoyed everyone's company. They were so kind to you, and didn't pay any mind to flaws. They knew themselves that they were defective- what was one more defect?
Maybe you were in over your head, would they really accept you as a member of their squad? They just met you a week ago. For all they knew you were an Empire spy... You couldn't deny that you wanted to stay though. You felt like you belonged- finally.
When Echo still avoided you like the plague and the ship was ready to fly again, you felt like you had run out of time. You sulked around the ship for awhile, waiting for Hunter to ask where you wanted to be dropped off.
That was until you noticed- he hadn't asked you. It had been hours and he had said nothing about you leaving.
This made you crack, anxiety like ice through your veins.
"Hunter, I mean this in the least selfish way possible. But, why haven't you asked where I wanted to go yet? What planet?" You thought you messed up when his face fell. He looked dissapointed?
"Well, we were hoping you would want to stay. We were going to formally ask, but Wrecker and Omega are still making the poster." He rubbed the pack of his neck and chuckled a little bit. "Would you like to join us? If not, that's completely understandable. Just name the planet and we will be headed there." He stated, making sure you knew you had options.
"R-really? You guys want me to join you?" You wanted to smack your head at how cliche you sounded. Though, you didn't have time to think on it, as Hunter started talking again.
"We don't have an official medic. While Tech possesses all the knowledge needed, he doesn't have a, uh how do I put it? A steady hand when it comes to medical means." He reasoned.
"You are more than capable as we've seen, and between Wrecker and Omega we need a medic- bad." You smiled at this. You felt a purpose. Someone needed you! You would be able to help your squad and civilians you came across on any journey.
Before you could respond, Omega and Wrecker barreled through the mid-section of the ship. Omega held a small banner in her hand, and Wrecker a large sheet of paper. It was full of colorful pictures, drawn by the two.
Your heart warmed at the effort they put in, all to make you feel welcomed.
"How could I say no? You guys have been so perfect to me, and I want to help you guys as much as I can." You smiled up at Hunter, he patted you on the shoulder. His way of officially letting you on the squad.
After that day, things started to move more smoothly. Yeah, you had some bad run-ins, almost got captured a few times, and had many near-death experiences. But, you were with your family through it all. The only problem was Echo.
Maybe 'problem' wasn't too nice of a word. Echo never did anything wrong. He just, never seemed to like your company. You guessed he didn't have to like you, not everyone would. Because of this, you pushed back your guilty feelings surrounding him. That was until you over-heard a conversation between him and Hunter.
"Something feels off about her." Echo told Hunter. You couldn't see either of them, and didn't want to expose your position by moving.
"Yeah, and what's that?"
"I can't place it. I don't understand how everyone can just accept her, no questions asked." Echo sounded confused.
"She's shown us many times that she can handle herself. Plus, Omega needs another female on the ship.'' Hunter defended you, but still wanted to hear Echos concerns.
"She's not a clone. She doesn't think like us!" Ah, so that's why he's been so put-off by you. It was because you weren't a clone. You assumed he was so used to clones, that of course you were an odd piece in their clone family.
You slowly moved back to your sleeping cot. You sunk down slowly. It wasn't your fault, really. You can't control where or how you were born. Thoughts surrounded you. Was it that obvious? Were you that different from them?
As much as you wanted to pack your bags and not burden anyone else, you decided to talk to Echo first.
After landing on a planet to resupply, you asked to speak to Echo alone.
"Uh, sure." He replied, skeptical. You both exited the ship, though keeping close.
"Echo, I didn't really know how to bring this up. I figured I should just get straight to the point?" You asked, not wanting to waste his time.
He nodded, looking straight to you.
"I overheard you and Hunter talking last rotation..." You nervously picked at a nail. He still stared, not wavering.
"I can't help that i'm not a clone. I'm not sorry either, but I do want to know what I can do. To gain your trust." You dropped your hand, eager for his response.
He licked his lips, thinking. "I'm sorry you heard that..."
"Echo, I don't care. I just- I want to be a part of this family..." You mustered out. Now or never!
This surprised him, "What are you talking about. You already are!"
He seemed, mad? Was he really that disgusted by 'normal' humans?
"I can't help that i'm not a clone!" You regrettably yelled, throwing you arms up.
"That doesn't matter, everyone accepts you anyways!" His words were strained, like he didn't want anyone to know.
"Why don't you?" You whispered.
He sighed and took a step back. "When I first joined force 99, it wasn't as easy."
You couldn't imagine what he was referring to. You knew he was a regular clone before joining Hunter, but what did that have to do with anything?
After seeing your confused look, he continued. "I wasn't born a defective clone, I became one. It took a lot of time to understand how to use this. But you fit in so easily." He gestured to his mechanical arm.
"I had no idea you felt that way... I wasn't trying to mean anything-" He cut you off.
"I know, and really, we do need a medic. I was just being resentful, I'm sorry."
"I'm not trying to take anyone's place. The team wouldn't be the same without you. Besides, Omega adores you, and I think Hunter will do whatever it takes to keep her happy." You laughed, he luckily gave out a chuckle as well.
"Thanks. I think It'll just take some time to get used to the difference." He said, honestly.
"I get that, just let me know if there's anything I can do... Ya know, to speed things up?" You smiled up at him. It was then that you knew everything would be fine. That you really had found your family, and nothing could take you from them.
A/N- Thank you so much for reading! I am sorry if this isn't what you had in mind! Feel free to send in another request if you would like a more specific plot! Again, sorry that my platonic writing skills aren't that sharp! Tags- (lmk if you want to be tagged as well!) @thethreeeyed-raven @knight-of-flowerss

A perfect case for my certain skillset
Part 1 | Part 2
Platonic CF 99 X Jedi!GNReader Series Summary: Clone Force 99 is getting a Jedi, as if that could ever work out for the band of misfits. The worst thing? They're not even getting a General. Chapter: A dusty mission wrecks havoc on the team – and the success rate of CF99 is in peril. Good thing that their Jedi is creative with solutions; even if the solutions come with a cost at their own expense. Hunter starts to question his care towards their new member. Word Count: 2,138
The only thing guiding Hunter was the light from your saber.
His HUD was long gone, the dust storm making everything hazy and unreliable. His shots were going wide, the wind somehow managing to mess up even his blaster.
He knew Crosshair was nestled somewhere above the fight, taking droids that he deemed too close to his brothers. Even with all the wind and dust, his shots found their marks, having his brother's back always.
Hunter lost sight of his other brothers, but he had to have faith in them. Bred to be soldiers first, brothers second and all that.
If it weren't for the filters in his mask, Hunter was sure the muck would disorient him even more. How you could manage without a mask, he couldn't understand.
Your sabre hummed dangerously as you whirled around, using the droid's blaster shots against them, blue light deflecting red again, and again. In between clouds of dust, Hunter could see you pulled some fabric over your nose, trying to filter some dust out.
His comms flickered back to life, crackled chatter filtering through – it seemed that his comms were as happy as he was with this storm.
'–unter... –isiton is compromised. Repeat. Posi–... Position is... –ised. ..._ggesting a retreat...–ver.'
Kark.
Hunter tried to change the frequency of the comms channel, but all that filled his ears was the sound of static. Angling his visor towards you, you gave no insight if you heard Tech's report.
Even the droids were slowing down, which was great – it meant Hunter could reach you for a tactical retreat and make a plan with you.
One that didn't involve:
Him getting Force thrown;
2. You jumping into the heat of battle without a plan.
Noticing his presence, you swept with your eyes over the area once, twice and finally closed your lightsaber. Pulling down your mask, Hunter could see your flushed cheeks underneath the grime and soot, as well as remains of your favoured blue sparkles over your eyes.
Putting you hand up in a very Tech manner, you stopped him before he could even utter a word. Rude. Instead of trying to stop his tactical retreat as he expected, a violent cough seized you.
Ah, so you couldn't manage that well with the dust.
Righting you back up as you continued coughing, Hunter scanned the area, anticipating an attack any second.
Keeping his hands on you, he started guiding you towards the last known location of the Marauder. Even with all of his devices going haywire, nothing could beat Hunter's sense of direction. At least in the safety of the ship, your lungs could take a break. He could deal with your indignation later.
For now, his priority was to discuss with the squad another battle plan.
Because there is always another battle plan.
Their success rate of 100% was not going anywhere.
For the first ten steps, you lagged behind, feet dragging. If you didn't use your words, Hunter would not let you stay and fight some more.
After only 2 months with them, you managed to find a small space to call your own. Hunter couldn't lie and say that you blended in the group seamlessly... But. There was what Hunter would tentatively call hope.
After the first mission it was clear that whoever on the Jedi Council thought that you would reign them in, was absolutely wrong. In fact, the plans seemed to get even more dangerous.
You weren't even a General. He thought that only Padawans were Commanders, and that Padawans need Masters, so... Where was your Master? Or why weren't you a Jedi Knight?
He could ask Tech to look into it.
Well, he did want to know who was the person he had to live in close quarters with... Where's the harm in that?
So there you were, creating each plan. with zero regard to your safety and some regard to the squad.
Climb over the smoothest wall? Well, we can always jump from the Marauder and catch us with the Force.
Sit on the wing of the Marauder while flying? It's only the calmest place to meditate.
If your words were few, your actions were certainly something.
Your lungs gave an ugly rattle that made Hunter wince underneath his helmet. Although, with you, it didn't matter if he had a helmet on or not – you just seemed to know what face he was making in the (relative) safety of his helmet.
Sending a scowl to him, you started shaking some dirt from your long Jedi robes and cleaning up your face with a clean rag.
Jokes on you – Crosshair's scowls, sneers and general being made him immune to anything negative sent his way. The perks of having younger siblings, he supposed.
As soon as Wrecker, Tech and Crosshair joined them on the ship, a rare silence engulfed the walls. The only thing that Hunter could hear was the wind howling.
'It is clear that we will not be able to take off during this storm. However,' adjusting his glasses, Tech continued, 'we can utilise the storm to our advantage. It might cause some issues with the data transfer, but we should be out of the planet's atmosphere in good time.'
'We just needed to take the information from a data bank, right?' Your voice was still small when asking questions, but it was getting better. Or the entire squad was getting better at becoming silent once you started speaking. 'What if we just take the entire data bank? Tie it to the Marauder and leave. We can transfer the data in a more secure location.'
Four sets of eyes were trained on you unblinking. Credit where credit is due, you did not hunch down or flinch back... rather just stared back. Running your hand through your dust filled hair, you looked away first. 'Look guys, we are losing daylight here. I don-'
'Technically we would not be losing daylight, as days on this planet are much longer than the standard that we know. This is due-'
'Yes, thank you Tech. This is not the moment.' Although he loved his brother to bits, they really needed that information on time. Hunter could apologise later and would ask Tech later about all the small oddities that they encountered on this planet.
Looking back at you, Hunter gave you a nod, urging you to continue.
Your plan was not that bad. Except for the fact that they couldn't fly the Marauder, could they?
Your attention was on Tech.
'Tech, do you know in how much time the storm dies down for a bit, so that we can fly at a lower altitude?'
'Of course. In exactly 2 hours and 10 minutes the storm should stop. Based on how the storm is going on at this moment... we could theoretically fly blindly towards deep enemy space and retrieve the data bank. If I understood your plan correctly.' An uninterested blink from Tech, and then his attention was back on his datapad.
Crosshair was the first one to object. 'Do you even consider that we don't have to die?' His sneer was sharp and his eyes were on fire, but you weren't deterred.
'No one has to die. We just need to be creative with our survival.'
—
The price for your plan was two blaster grazes and just one sprained ankle for the whole team. Hunter could consider himself satisfied.
The only thing he was unsatisfied about was that once the mission was over, you locked yourself into the fresher with a medkit and that was it.
And here he was, stationed with his brothers on either side of the small door, trying to figure out how to approach you.
Everyone was patched up and cleaned. The only one un-accounted for was, well, you.
'You think she died?'
'That would certainly solve our issues now.' Leaning agains the wall, Crosshair had his arms crossed, toothpick in his mouth and eyes closed. Relaxed even. A rare occurrence indeed.
Silencing his brother with a glare, Hunter turned towards the door. No biggie. You were just a Commander. A Jedi. Padawan?
Hunter knocked on the door.
'You alright in there?'
'Uh-huh.'
Your voice was muffled, and while Hunter couldn't really hear you breathing... you did sound out of breath, and your heartbeat was elevated.
'I'm coming in.' Giving you an extra 30 seconds to cover up in case you were dressing up your wound, Hunter punched in the override code to the door.
Opening the door slowly, he expected to see you near the mirror, cleaning the blaster wound on your shoulder.
What he did not expect was to see you curled up in the corner of the fresher, head between your legs. As he entered, you gave no sign of acknowledgement. Crouching next to you, he could see your back moving with each shallow breath. Instinctively, his arm moved to your shoulder. With no flinch from you, he gingerly put his other arm on the injured shoulder, a sharp inhale coming from you.
'C'mon, sit up straight, it would be easier to breathe.' His words were hushed, trying to emulate the way 99 used to calm him or his brothers down. The fresher was not silent. Your breath echoed slightly, bouncing between the walls. The ship hummed, pipe creaked. And even with all those small sounds, Hunter heard the moment you decided to shift.
Guiding you in a better suited position, Hunter reluctantly took his hands off you. If it were one of his brothers, he wouldn't hesitate to slide behind them and try to match their breathing. With you?
He didn't know if he could do that yet.
You kept to yourself, and even after almost two months, you still looked standoffish every time you were alone with Hunter.
At most, you let Wrecker hug you sideways when he was excited with something, or manhandle you into a 'throw the Jedi' game-plan you two had going on.
Your eyes, still closed, fluttered slightly before settling again. Hunter could faintly smell the shampoo you preferred, all the debris and dust washed away into the pipes of the Marauder.
Well, almost all of it.
'We really need to work on your communication skills Commander.' All he got from you was a huff and a smile, but it was more that enough for Hunter. Raising his voice, Tech's name carried through the ship.
'I'm right and you know it. You need to come to us when you're injured.'
His brother appeared in the doorway, data pad and med scanner in hand. With so little space, Hunter knew he had to get out and let his brother in. Reluctantly, he got up, knees creaking in protest. Even if he didn't stray far, Hunter already missed your proximity. Crouching near you, Tech started scanning you to further know the issues caused by your lungs.
With a small beep, the scan indicated its end. 'We should move you into one of the lower bunks, Commander. It will help you breathing.'
'I'm fine... just. Just give me a minute, alright?' Hunter would bet his entire non-existent pay check that you were not, in fact, fine, if the pallor of your face or the fact that you hadn't opened your eyes were any indicators.
'It will also finally clear up the fresher. Are you done dying around?'
'Cross.' It seemed that no matter how many times Hunter warned his younger brother, or glared at him, Crosshairs mission was to antagonise you. Looking back at you, you were pulled up by Tech, your legs not cooperating for the first few seconds, but your eyes were open, trained on the sniper.
Huh.
At least that made you more alert.
'Very funny Crosshair. Didn't your mama te-' Maybe it was a good thing that your coughs were unpredictable. The last thing Hunter wanted was a fist fight in the tiny fresher.
Now all they had to do was to rendezvous with the Negotiator, and make you sit still long enough so that the medics can take a good look at you.
As most things related to Jedi, this might be easier said than done.
Maker help him.
—
The debrief went as smoothly as it could go.
All Hunter wanted to do was to get some chow, get all of the sand out of his hair and finally get some sleep. After all, you were in the hands of the highly skilled medics.
And yet.
His legs were on autopilot, and there was Hunter, in front of the medbay. If he strained his ears, he could hear the faint chatter of the medics, soft beeps creating a soothing rhythm. Nestled between all the sounds, there it was.
Thud. Thud-thud. Thud.
Your heartbeat, familiar after just a couple of months with the team, reached Hunter. You were not asleep. If he just opened the door, he could probably see you, data pad in hand, not one second wasted.
Would you smile?
Shaking his head, Hunter took a step back. Why would you smile? You were there because the Council ordered you to wrangle them, his band of mischiefs.
As if.
With one last sigh, Hunter took another step towards the barracks. The next mission was inbound sooner rather than later. He needed to rest, without a Jedi on his mind.

Was thinking how we get confirmation of some of the things years later. Like in today's ep jm said him, jk (confirmed) and either one of jin and yg (jm was a bit confused who but it could also be that yoonjin both left later like jikook) were the last ones to leave their dorm and remember how we used to think jikook "might" live together cause they used to share car alot during 2019-2021. Now idk exactly when they left their dorms but i do know the news of RM and jm buying house in nine one hit the media around june 1st 2021. Also that one BTS video where the boys were interviewing e/o and jk asked jm what was the most enjoyable thing these days and jm replied "The most enjoyable thing these days is waking up and seeing jungkook" idr but wasn't it around 2019-2020 when he said that? And jikook and yoonjin used to share car, jikook the most of times so i think yup jikook used to live in the shared apartment be it dorm or whatever that is. So we were basically right.
Intersting thing is even after RM and jm buying house we still saw jikook sharing cars now idk why that. Yes when minimoni brought their houses they shared car but it was like only few times but jikook still has shared cars few times here nd there so i wonder why is that maybe they love sharing cars or their houses are near or etc etc.
Maybe as the besties they're when it comes to car sharing they just simply put these two together knowing they have shared it before too. Remember how they shared car 4 days of concerts in LV? There's another thing who's confirmation we got way later but i don't remember that now but yeah.
Also the way tkkrs be like "but jungkook don't cook for jm he doesn't even have jm's number" both got denied in this ep....i know it's only them who believed their shit theories but they're sooo many in number and they spread it everywhere so it's like thousands of them i think like 99% of them belive that shit. "Jungkook doens't have jm's number why is it a problem it happens people don't have e/o's numbers why are you blaming tkkrs for it" i remember mfkr dionysustkk tweeting this. The way i wanna bitch slap that identity crisis human. Like bitch not only he has jm's number (sounds so fking silly to say even) he literally knows jm's House password and walks like he knows the place and even cook for the two of them so you can sit in a corner and cry me some river
Thank you for this mini timeline compilation anon!
I found it interesting that jimin knew for sure that jk was still with him at the dorms but couldn't confirm whether yoonjin were there too. Seems like a detail you'd recall I feel, unless you were spending a majority of your time with one person. And if we are to go by your timeline it does seem that even after moving out jikook seemed to have made a deliberate choice to take the same car on multiple occasions. I do think there was a period in mid 2021 and early 2023 where jkk were maybe not seeing each that frequently based on some of their conversations, but this docu has really made me re evaluate a lot of these assumptions.
Since 2020, we have gotten almost 1/3 the amount of behind the scenes ot7 content and that definitely had an impact on many peoples assumptions on the members relationships. It's why certain "groups" felt more confident in proclaiming that jikook were never close or only fanservice.
Tkkrs and their cult leaders will never stop in their attempts at undermining jikooks relationship with false narratives. It's something I didn't understand the need of when I first entered shipping spaces because if you believe tkk are real and in a healthy relationship, then why would assuming jikook are close friends, in any way would come in the way of that? Why did jimin need to be the villain in their theories so bad? It's only now that I kinda get that as a tkkr, they can't possibility perceive that tkk are in a 'genuine and healthy' relationship if they have to take jikook at face value. Cause the way those two interact and prioritise one another, does really throw tkkrs off gaurd. Which is why so much of their belief and foundation hinges on all of jkks interactions being fake and forced and jk secretly hating jm. Because the alternative cannot be that they're 'close friends" for them, once they start 'really seeing' jikook for the way they are around one another, it disturbs their perfect ideal.
Not saying that there's no possibility that jikook are in fact just close friends after all, but I think once you do see that underlying spark that makes one go "?" ,it's kind of hard to unsee it.

hey! do you think these two lovely dorks really have some kind of romantic relationships off stage or it’s just me?🥺 every time when i start to think about this my brain just like ewsxswasszzw
I couldn't sleep all night because I was thinking about that message, lol 😆
let's start with the fact that i love the band since 99. i started listening to them when i was 11 years old and of course i didn't think about their relationship within the band (I didn't even know what they looked like for a very long time because I only had a live aus berlin cassette which i stolen from a classmate and it was without a cover ( I wanted to destroy it because he bored everyone at school by constantly talking about this group 😁 fun fact: this guy is my best friend now and I'm his daughter's godmother)
soo one day in a popular russian teen magazine i saw a picture of them (paul and richard) and a caption under the picture that changed my life 😆
the caption went like this (I just still keep this magazine and was able to translate that, do not think that I remember it by heart 😆) : «A month ago, being in Moscow, the members of the band Rammstein claimed that they loved only women and were not interested in guys! And what they were doing on stage (sticking microphones into each other in different places) was just an artistic image. just a joke. then the cult Germans left to continue to amaze Europe with their music. Poor guys, they didn't know that we (the magazine's editorial staff) followed them. And in Prague we had already seen guitarists Paul Landers and Richard Kruspe admiring each other. Look at these lovebirds, isn't that love?»
and I remember looking at that picture and thinking "omg! this is really love!" 🥰 many months later I learned what fanfiction was and what slash was and how surprised I was that I wasn't the only one who thought that about them, that there was something sweet between them? (it was 2004, for some reason I thought it was 01/02, but no, it was 2004)
and I made so many new friends and we had so many awesome stories in russian fandom!!! and ever since then in my head I've always thought that there was something going on between them. there weren't many videos and pictures back then, but every time I saw them next to each other it made me smile 🥰
then youtube came along and I probably saw all the videos that were posted back then and always watched how Richard and Paul acted with each other
I started making gifs since 2010 and it's always been a joy to find cute moments from concerts with them 💖
and then 2019 happened. i remember that day so well. i downloaded this huge video from spain and started watching it from the beginning, i wasn't expecting anything at all. and first i saw richard kiss paul's forehead at puppe and i was like WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN? and then someone sent me a text saying "watch auslander" and I rewinded to that moment and saw that kiss on the lips and you should have heard my screams! I CLOSED MY LAPTOP, I THREW IT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BED. I FELL OFF THE BED ONTO THE FLOOR AND I JUST SCREAMED LIKE THIS: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (and with a lot of russian swear words 😆😆😆😆😆 ) my dad came running into the room and thought I was dying or being killed 😆 I thought my spirit had left my body I had imagined it in my head for so many years (really many many years!!) and now I saw it for real? I couldn't even in my wildest dreams imagine that this could actually happen.
I still have a lot of questions: how did they decide to do it? why? for what? what does it all mean? was it scripted? i think in 19 yes, and in 22 too. but still every time it was something cute and new and they are adults and hardly anyone could make them do it. they just… decided to kiss each other's ~lips~ every time and they like it? all those thoughts amaze me and i don't have a heterosexual explanation for it (but maybe i am being biased 😁)
of course I don't know and I don't think I'll ever know what's really going on between them, but the whole history of their relationship, what they've gone through to be here when they can just kiss each other is amazing to me! It's so beautiful and I'm just happy that they let us see it too… the tenderness they have for each other? and it doesn't matter what it's called and whether they're together or not, the main thing is that they look so happy around each other 🥰 that's enough for me 💖💖💖

Dog Man Wings of Fire AU
Why did I make this? Because I can!
I used this picrew to make appearance references! It's limited ofc, so it's not exactly what they look like.
So, a few notes before getting started:
This AU primarily takes place on Pyrrhia
It's more advanced than canon wof (how much more? Still not sure)
The sprays (Living Spray, Cannery Grow, etc), as well as Supa Brain Dots, were all enchanted by an ancient animus
Eating too many Supa Brain Dots will give you animus powers, but will also immediately corrupt your soul
Raincy of the RainWings/SeaWings (Dog Man)
Head of a RainWing, body of a SeaWing
Combination of Grapevine (Rain) and Navy (Sea, I came up with those names on a whim)
His "official" name is Navy-Vine, but everyone just calls him Raincy (it's easier)
Part of a patrol group that basically keeps the peace around the continent
Can't talk but can make noises; uses dragon-equivalent of sign language to communicate
He can also speak Aquatic very well (he changes his RainWing scales as if they're SeaWing scales when doing this)
When Grapevine and Navy got gravely injured, they had to be airlifted to Pantala (which still exists, and the distance between them isn't too far here)
Literally only survived due to animus magic, a topic we'll get into later
Has RainWing venom, and can breathe underwater like a SeaWing
Everyone thinks he's weird, but he's just chilling
Caracal of the SandWings (Petey)
Named after a desert cat XD
He's not really that orange. But he does have some SkyWing ancestry on his mom's side - may have contributed to him looking closer to orange than sandy yellow
Smoke comes out of his ears about 99% of the time
His tail barb doesn't work due to an accident
We don't talk about that accident
Part of his frill (the sail thing on his spine) was broken off to clone himself... with animus magic!
Yes, he's an animus. He scarcely used his power as a dragonet (mostly due to his mother restricting it out of fear), then he grew up and started abusing it, so he was Pyrrhia's biggest threat for a while
After the first clone went wrong he wanted to try again, but said clone took up too much of his time and he didn't want another accident
80-HD was created by him (he looks like an oblong sphere here)
Mostly used his magic to create impossible machines and threats to doom the continent, and the like
Until a certain someone was able to bring him back to the light...
Caracal II "Carlie" of the SandWings (Li'l Petey)
Magicked into existence by Caracal I
Does NOT have magic himself - either Caracal didn't want his clone to get any ideas, or he didn't want his son to go down the same path he did. Up for interpretation.
His tail barb doesn't work since he's too young, but he wouldn't use it anyway
Has more optimism than every dragon around him combined
Caracal still questions this
He's really interested in scavengers
He has this uncanny ability to give animi their lost souls back. Nobody knows how this is possible, but he's already done it to three separate dragons, possibly more.
Either Carlie's animus power manifested in other, unique ways, or recovering from animus magic abuse is actually possible...
Coffeebean of the MudWings (Chief)
Still goes by Chief
Founded the patrol group
He's a bigwings! Some of the patrol members are his sibs (Milly and Maude among them)
This is the only reason he doesn't kick Maude off (some say nepotism, he says sib loyalty)
Had smoke coming from his ears a lot early on, now he's calmer so it doesn't happen as much
Was friends with Grape and Navy before they combined, still misses Navy a lot
Got an instant crush on Nurse Lady's equivalent, was confused for a while because he thought MudWings couldn't feel that way
His fire is unusually hot for a MudWing
Sparrow of the SkyWings (Sarah)
Her full name might be Sparrowhawk
Messenger dragon, attempting to make Pyrrhia's first news column
Claims she knew where Caracal's secret desert hideout was before it was public knowledge (he denies this, Sparrow insists)
Studying animus magic (mainly because of Caracal II's weird abilities/coincidences)
Has a pet scavenger (Zuzu) that she keeps in a pouch and occasionally talks to
Keeps in touch with Yolay (HiveWing royalty, super famous on the other continent)
Skipper of the SeaWings/SilkWings (Flippy)
Looks pretty much like a SeaWing, only purple with butterfly-like wings
Lived entirely underwater as a dragonet, which got him bullied by other SeaWings
Showed up uninvited to Chief's hatching-day (since the pet subplot can't happen), and ate one too many of his brain dots
This gave him artificial animus power
Went psycho, didn't exactly die (maybe a coma?), got revived, went on a ramage, met Carlie, changed for the better, got sent to Sea Jail
Then got released and is now taking care of 22 MudWing dragonets :)
Pollywog "Polly" of the MudWings (Molly)
...y'know I was gonna pick a name that started with "M" but "Pollywog" was too good to pass up XD
So the 22 tadpoles are a couple groups of young sib groups that all act like one big unit
They latched onto the Fair Fairy (IceWing) as soon as they were hatched
Brain dots, artificial animus power, buncha stuff happens, Skipper "adopts" them
They can take care of themselves but Skipper's there as a support system (and to make sure they don't die)
Polly keeps the animus powers but doesn't use it for anything other than making herself float just for fun
...and making up diarrhea songs
Paintedlady of the SilkWings (Nurse Lady)
The special Pantalan healer they took Grape and Navy to
All because, drumroll... she's an animus!
She keeps this info under wraps, unlike a certain evil SandWing
But she makes exceptions to save lives - it's her enchanted silk keeping Raincy together
She might be part NightWing? Haven't decided yet
Eventually moved to Pyrrhia and married Coffeebean
She's still the chosen one - there's this whole prophecy mentioning two animi, one that would doom the world (Caracal) and another that would save it (Paintedlady)
Speaking of which...
Dust Devil "Dusty" of the SandWings (Grampa)
*insert womp-womp noise*
A NightWing gave him the above prophecy one time, and of course he disregarded it (but it did briefly come to mind once he discovered his son was an animus)
Used to live on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Sand, until a tiny dragonet dragged him out for some reason
Not an animus (thank goodness)
Not sure how the switcheroo in Fetch-22 works, maybe he just gets a convincing disguise?
Wants to stab everyone with his tail
Jackalope of the SandWings/RainWings (Big Jim)
Hoo boy so many sandwings
He was by far the hardest to work with - he needs to be in the same cell as Caracal/Dusty, but this guy's sooooo RainWing coded. Thus, he's a hybrid as a compromise.
I call him a "Whiteout-style" hybrid (it's obvious which two tribes he's from) as opposed to a "Darkstalker-style" hybrid (you'd only know if they told you)
So anyway, there's a jail for every separate tribe; hybrids are sorted according to their mother's tribe, so he's in Sand Jail with Caracal, and later Dusty
He does have the uncanny ability to change colors on a whim, it freaks everyone out
Thinks he's an animus and comes up with extremely convincing justifications (Caracal still questions the legitimacy of this)
So, as a result, he also believes he's in the prophecy (Dusty was two seconds from telling him that he's not, but something always gets in the- *gets crushed by talon*)

Lanolin being a killjoy definitely stands out due to her complete lack of any good qualities to make up for it. Shadow definitely can be a killjoy: he's also simply cool and firmly on the side of good, though different and more forceful in his methods than how Sonic tends to tackle things. Same for Knuckles with his gruffness and short temper, but you can easily see how much he cares about his friends and that he is someone straightforward and honest. Hell, Espio is absolutely the occasional killjoy of the Chaotix, but if you look at him for two seconds you see he's just as zany and silly as the other two! But Lanolin does not have that. If you told me that she hated Tangle and couldn't stand to be in her vicinity I would 100% believe you. There's not a single moment of friendship built up between Lanolin, Tangle, and Whisper (that doesn't paint at least one as an idiot or insensitive jerk, like Tangle when picking the Diamond Cutters name). No reason is given as to why Lanolin suddenly is the Stern Boss Lady of the bunch. And she's got no positive qualities that make her even remotely distinct and memorable. Even her justification as to why she is doing this is just a very basic ' was scared now must protec world from bad egg man'. There is nothing fun, enjoyable, or likeable about her, because she comes with nothing of the sort attached, and no-one calls her out for her bad behaviour so we don't even get the catharsis there either.
Shadow calls Casino Park "cool city" when you start the level. That alone gives him more charm than Lanolin.
You make a good point. Shadow and Espio are the serious guys of the team, but they don't come off as sour killjoys. They have their comically serious moments, for starters - Shadow has scenes like the computer karate chopping, and Espio can be very overdramatic with his ninja schtick. They don't boss the others around, because they're not the leaders of their groups: Rouge is the most relaxed member of Team Dark, and Vector is a goofball. Shadow and Espio are treated as equals, to balance the trio. And like you said, they are friends! Team Dark and Team Chaotix have chemistry! Rouge has comforted Shadow when he had moments of doubt! Espio very clearly respects Vector and Charmy, even with their over-the-top personalities!
Lanolin is a noboby that butted her way into the group, and is now dictating the good and the bad weather, not just to Whisper and Tangle, but to the canon characters as well. Again: who are you?
She has no charm, she has no likeable qualities (and being a strong fighter is not enough), 99% of her dialogue is her commanding around or reprimanding her allies, that one moment of weakness in #58 came out of nowhere and lead to nowhere, and as I said before, I don't know if we're meant to see her as a lousy leader who is trying too hard to be taken seriously. The other characters sure don't seem to have a problem with her! Am I right, Whisper who for some reason didn't have the courage to stand up for Silver when you saw that Duo kicked him? I know that you're introverted, but just because you speak in a low voice doesn't mean you have to be a coward! You can be confrontational when you want to!

Chapter 100 spoilers, a very simple break down of the conversation at the end.
This is mostly gonna be my thoughts, with surface level analysis (for the record, if it's circled in orange I think it's Jade, and if it's purple I think it's Chion).
I wonder if this is why he decided to go with Chion's and Isolde's idea of using magic against Percival in 53. He didn't want to be seen as the odd one out, so he hid his actual feelings of "this is stupid."
Also at first we all thought Jade wore the same outfit as Tristan cause he was also a "Tristan fan." But looking back, he was 100% just trying to fit in. Chion was copying Tristan, while Jade was copying Chion.
So Jade's magic isn't based on his own personality, but instead the traits he admired.
What happened to Chion for him to assume everyone is guilty until proven innocent, but he tries to prove their guilt first?
Talking about Jade's admiration for Chion to questioning his loyalty to Tristan is an odd jump. Makes me wonder what this actually is. Is this a (possible mixter of) past conversation(s) that Chion is remembering, is this a metaphorical conversation, or does Chion somehow have the ability to speak to the dead (least likely)?
Ever since chapter 99 I suspected that Jade holds resentment towards Tristan in a "he's annoying perfect" sort of way. (Didn't expect it to be as far as "hating his guts" tho)
Think about it. Jade's crush talks about wanting a prince to save her, which Jade responded with "Prince Charming is probably actually helpless irl and I can save you instead." Jade was then proven wrong not long after. Prince Charming shows up and proves he's just like the book, "Loving and brave... And when his princess is in trouble, he's always there to protect her." Everything Jade's crush wants in a guy. Requirements that Jade couldn't reach. The closest he got to it (to our knowledge before saving her in 98) was "carrying her all the way home," which was actually Tristan. So the only times he gets praised for saving her, he's riddled with guilt cause it's a lie. Prince Charming was later the one who lovingly gave her the ribbon, not him. And Prince Charming saves her again in 75 to drive the point in.
Outside of romance, there's plenty of things that makes Prince Charming "cooler" than Jade. Prince Charming is attractive (Attractive=Elizabeth's looks=Tristan's looks, meaning Attractive=Tristan's looks), nothing has been stated about Jade's looks. Prince Charming is a better fighter. Prince Charming is more wealthy. Everyone knows and loves Prince Charming's family. Prince Charming is prophesy to save the world. Prince Charming has great healing abilities, while Jade can only give basic first aid.
Heck in a way their magic has the same theme, light and darkness. But while Jade can only flash light and blind people with darkness, Prince Charming is literally the grandson of the god of darkness and god of light.
In a way, every reason Jade respects and finds Tristan amazing, is another reason for Jade to find Prince Charming more annoying.
It was probably isolating to be in the Tristan platoon for Jade. It's a group that's job is to serve someone Jade hates secretly deep down. Besides Tristan himself, Jade was the only member who didn't idolize Tristan.
Another reason for Jade to dislike Prince Charming is that he sorta just consumed Jade's whole friend group. They went from 3 childhood friends, to the Tristan platoon with Prince Charming as their leader. Prince Charming? Their leader? Prince Charming is the newest member of the group but Jade's friends are all obsessed with him. That leads to the last point, which I'll bring up later.
I've seen several people mention that it's nice that Chion still accepts Jade even so he hates someone Chion admires, and I have to agree.
"That's just how you are, right?" I don't think Jade wants to hate Tristan, he just does. He still respects Tristan, and anolages that the hatred is because Tristan is a bad person. But yet still he can't help but hate Prince Charming, it's just a part of him. Sometimes our emotions don't line up with our logic and reason.
"Kind of a big gap there, though." Is probably the saddest line in this. Even if Jade is 2nd, he's still now where as important as Prince Charming is to his own bestfriend.
The final point why Jade hates Prince Charming is Jade is forced to be second place to him. His crush is madly in love with Prince Charming, at best Jade is a second option. Add what Chion said. I would resent someone who just showed up one day, and stole the affection and attention of my friends, leading to me being overlooked.
Extra point I just thought of, Prince Charming brings out the worst in Jade's friends. His crush's obsessiveness and his bestfriend tried to kill 5 people "for Tristan's sake."
Extra thoughts
I really hope they make this death worth it, otherwise we missed and opportunity to explore Jade's and Tristan's relationship.
I want to see Jade snap at Tristan. I want to see Tristan's reaction to learning Jade hates him. How would that affect the group dynamic? I wanna see them work things out.
I headcanon that Tristan really valued Jade's friendship as he was the only one to treat him like an equal. Not that Tristan dislikes Chion and Isolde, but I feel like they're idealization of him makes him feel isolated in his own friend group. With that in mind, how would Tristan feel if he learned the feelings of friendship wasn't mutual at all?

do you think domino squad would get along with the batch?
they ABSOLUTELY would
especially because of what Domino endured from the other squads while they were training on Kamino, getting made fun of and talked down to because they couldn't meet the standards set until the very end, and definitely because of their own encouragement from 99.
I think Hevy would connect the most with Crosshair. Hevy, in my mind, is very painfully honest and sarcastic, and is the "no one makes fun of my brothers but me" type. He'd get along so well with Crosshair, and give Crosshair that understanding about his attitude towards his siblings that no one else really seems to get.
Droidbait is the one who I hc to be the youngest of Domino, he's the baby of the group, so he'd attach himself to Tech's side and just watch, wide-eyed as Tech talks about his many inventions. I like to think that if Droidbait had survived, he would have been similar to Tech, studying the droids they fight against and making modifications to every blaster and ship he can get his hands on.
Cutup and Wrecker get along like a house on fire and it's concerning to absolutely everyone. Wrecker gets why Cutup needs to use humor to cope with things, why he can't always articulate what he wants to say or do. They get each other better than anyone, and while obviously Domino gets Cutup the best, outside of the squad, it'd absolutely be Wrecker that Cutup goes to.)
Fives... I mean, technically I could say "oh Echo's a member of the Batch so ofc Echo's his favorite", but I honestly think Fives would be very connected with Hunter. I think Fives craves stability. The same stability he finds in Echo, Rex, and Cody. He'd have one conversation with Hunter and immediately go "you're my brother now, i'm never letting you go" and Hunter would see Fives and his dad instincts would go into overdrive
Imagining a timeline where Domino lives, but maybe Echo still gets taken down at the Citadel. Maybe the Techno Union raids the remains of Rishi and finds three clones, and suddenly, Rex is staring at the faces of two brothers he's never met, and two brothers he thought long-dead.And maybe Fives survives, and is already part of the Batch (bc that's my favorite hc, that Fives lives and ends up starting anew with the Batch), and suddenly he's got his batchmates back, he's got his twin back.
And Omega, instead of gaining five new brothers, she gains nine, and each of them loves her so very, very much, and instead of just Echo leaving when they meet with Rex on Coruscant, it's the entirety of Domino leaving to finish what Fives started.

Ooh for the fic-I-associate-with-you game: Once Bitten.
(also I absolutely love that fic!! It deals with the serious ramifications of Juliet's actions - which should've been addressed in the show! - and it is so fantastically written!)
I would say "this fic was inspired by rage" but that is not exactly a secret - I think I even said it in the notes on both the beginning and the end. :-) SO different factoid/secret about it....
So it's no secret I don't like Higgins for like...99% of the series. I hate people like her in the series when they exist in real life, the ones who think that their trauma trumps all others, no one has ever been hurt like they've been hurt, and that gives them a free pass to be dicks to everyone around them. From a veteran standpoint, that is some fucking bullshit.
I was at a veteran's retreat - women only - this weekend, and when I confessed that I didn't feel like I really belonged in the same group as these women - who had seen combat, who had lost dozens and more of their brothers and sisters, who lost their 'tribe' when they left the service and couldn't connect to people, and that feeling of alienation was why I never went to veterans' programs or events - one of them, without missing a beat, said "trauma is trauma. Who the fuck cares how you got it?" and it was one of the most inclusive things she could've ever said to me.
But that feeling of never having anything in common with other service members was probably why I wrote so much in Magnum fandom, because I could force that on Thomas and the guys - they were POWs. There's been like...16 in the entire 20+ years of War on Terror (aka 3 Ring Shit Show of the Middle East) and most of them died. They only have each other for someone who might even remotely understand what the other has been through. And it's why I really harp on Higgins and her stick-up-her-ass attitude towards Thomas and the Nest property for most of the series - she's supposed to be the 007 level spy, and she couldn't figure out basic dumb shit like "don't be a twat to you fellow house guest". I'd been told my whole military and post military life that I didn't have it that bad, that I was exaggerating, etc, about how terrible it was. No one believed me. And I wanted someone like Rick to stick up for me like he sticks up for Thomas here.
Also - I don't know if anyone drew the parallels here - but Rick gets really on his case about his arm and the dog bite because of what happens Bad Things Happen with Rick and the dog in Afghanistan. So Rick is working through his own trauma there.
Thank you for the opportunity to revisit the guys! (I miss them so)

You had ONE job!
(Author stands in front the group tasked with killing Nima. Behind the author is a white board on which is a picture of a short stick figure with glasses, a messy drawing of hair on top and could be a body double for a platypus and no one would know the difference.) (Author snaps a pointer on the picture.) "You SEE this?! You see what it looks like!?" (Snaps the pointer over to a second stick figure on the white board which is much taller, has a neat head of hair and could double as a telephone pole.) "And you see THIS!?" (Pauses) "Can ANYONE P.L.E.A.S.E. explain to me how you can possibly MISTAKE the two?" (Group member 1) "It was dark?" "This whole show has looked like it was filmed in a mile deep bunker where they forgot to pay the electric bill. Try again." (Group member 2) "He had his back to us?" (Author angerly taps the two pictures again.) "Height alone should have been a tip off!" (Group member 3) "He was leaned over!" "Even at waist high he was still taller than that little weasel!" "Just a minute! Why are you so upset? You didn't like the character anyway. Why are you so upset about what happened to him?" "Because his 'sacrifice' made no sense whatsoever. Now get out there and try again!" (Author stands at the door and hands out 5X7 glossy's as they leave.)
And yes, folks, I am more than a little peeved at how they wrote Bennett Knox's character out of the show. The scene was poorly thought out by the writers and once again, I wish they would get off the crack. Now, having read ahead in this show, I have a bit of insight into things that are going to happen. And each character demise thus far has left me sitting in front of my TV thinking "Whattttttt?" I was fine with Zarah being written off. She was a self-serving little so-and-so from the start. Good riddance. But lets take a look at their latest 'It's the last season, lets see what we can do for shock value' action. 1. Did the trains need to be separated RIGHT THEN! No. This was a poorly contrived plot point. 2. What? Big Alice doesn't have ONE, single survival suit? You couldn't take five seconds of film time to slip his skinny little butt into it? And it isn't like he doesn't know about them! He's spent 50% of the series in one. I swear, I think the character sleeps in one he loves them so much. 3. The most important people on the trains are the engineers. Yet THESE are the characters you choose to write off the show? What? Did Bennett 'MacGyver' Knox run out of ideas suddenly. You're asking me to believe that a man who could come up with all the fun little tricks he has thus far in the show, could think of NOTHING better than to walk out into freezing cold weather to uncouple a train car? Sirs, you both insult and tax my level of disbelief. 4. Poor Melanie now has no one to talk science to except the smarmy little weasel. And talking to Nima is like talking to a Schizophrenic who has been off his meds for a month. And believe me folks, in my line of work, I know a thing or two about what this looks like. (Holds up a picture of Nima.) 5. Standing at the door, after the cars were uncoupled, Bennett was still alive. What? Did 99% of his brain freeze first and he didn't think, 'Hey, I can turn around and run back into the train!'. Instead he just STOOD there and froze? (See end of item 3 comment.) 6. In the 'The writers have no idea what their doing' column, I would like to point out that if you know anything about living up north, it is not for a fashionable look that people wear scarfs wrapped around their noses outside in 12 degree weather. If you don't, your lungs freeze LONG before the rest of you does. Why? Because of the moisture in them. Executing people on the train by strapping a mask on them with a tube leading to the outside took what?.....30 seconds? Yet Bennett had time to run down a corridor with no more protection than a winter coat and gloves, uncouple a train car, then stand back up and admire the view. Why did he not turn his skinny little butt around instead and run back up said corridor and into the train? This whole scene just made no sense.
Here's what I think happened: (The following is the author's interpretation of what happened at the end of S4E5.) (In the writers trailer, they are staring at names pinned to the wall, deciding who they can legitimately write off the show before the end and still have enough characters left to have an end.) (Iddo Goldberg walks into the trailer.) "Hi, guys. Look, I have a slight problem." "What is it? We're busy." "Well, I have another opportunity with this new show that's starting filming in a few weeks, and I....sort of need off the train." "Done! Have a nice life." "Thanks, guys. You're the best." (Goldberg leaves and the writers quickly smile at each other.) "Gone by the halfway point?" "No problem."
And I understand this was suppose to be a 7 seasons show, and the writers are annoyed because they had this great storyboard already planned out and now they have to cram everything into ten episodes. It bites. But could you at least leave a few main characters alive? And I would do a revised 'Who makes it and who doesn't' list. But due to my getting out my trusty shovel and digging into sites where people post who have seen the entire season already, I can't do this anymore. But in regards to the original list I made and how wrong it is.......I'm amazed.
One last word of warning, folks. Be sure in the next 1-2 episodes to have a thick layer of towels set under your TV screen. Because when Melanie finds out what happened to Bennett......well, we all know how that goes. And it will surely be...messy.

Clone Cadets Liveblogging
Okay nobody said whether or not they'd like my Rewatching Clone Cadets for the First Time in 18 Months reactions or not, so I am making the executive decision to post them lol. Enjoy!
Okay if they have a clip from DB's deleted scene during the intro, why couldn't they include the scene itself?
-> also the medbay is mostly Kaminoans and droids
Why didn't DB move to the next barrier? No wonder Fives had to tackle him. Also Fives has to run directly forward and then yank them to the side. Talk about shifting momentum
Hmm Shaak Ti calls Echo by his name even when Echo hasn't like,,, fully accepted it as his name yet and it's mainly so the audience knows who he is
Cutup's accent doesn't make an appearance until he talks to Fives a full 3 minutes in
They call for a cleaning crew but it's literally just 99 and some droids
"ARC troopers follow orders" I mean... Mr. Future ARC Echo isn't wrong...
What the freak does it mean that Jedi don't feel concern? Isn't that something that goes hand in hand with compassion? Also screw Lama Su. Also the fact that Lama Su knows specifically Domino is giving me future angst ideas, oop
Colt's speech is supposed to help them realize 1) teamwork as a squad but also 2) competition isn't going to do you any good in the field. But it's Kamino so obviously it doesn't work (cough Bravo Squad cough)
When the time does the turn and step thingy, I think DB is first and either Hevy or Cutup are last
Dang, Hevy takes out a whole line of droids in one go
Aww Fives and Echo are basically saying they're a lil group. I love the twins. They stick with each other
Bric says clones giving names to each other is a joke >:( I would like to fight him, please
"I could think of one for you right now, sir" #cutuprights
This reignited my desire to work on that one WIP I have that has Hevy finding out how Cutup got his name and wanting to punch the crap out of Bric in return
99 saying he never got a chance or a team :(
Hevy being so attached to his rotary cannon that he was gonna take it with him, lol
Ohhh I get why 99 calls him Hevy now. The whole anchor analogy he uses, and carrying a heavy weight. But he must've seen the good sides of it, too, when Hevy was younger. Carrying the heavy weight of his brothers with them
Hevy: *chooses his name* Domino: :O Domino: :)
They really went from 1.5 names to 5 names overnight lol
Also them just springing into action at the start of the second final instead of starting behind the barricades like every other time the course is run??
Domino effect to the barricade
I still wish the soundtrack for this whole episode was on Spotify
Fives walks backwards and shoots behind. He's got Domino's back. The other 4 walk forward and have his <3
Cutup's lil roll into the slot thingies lol
Hevy definitely would've made ARC, too, if he'd lived longer
99's smile gives me life. Also Hevy saying he's one of them. 99 is the best honorary Domino member, confirmed
Okay thank you all for indulging me, lol. Hope you enjoyed it

attempting to join groups online about DID taught me something: those groups are terrible and don't help you with your actual symptoms. they like to romanticize them and make them out to be very different than they are.
i'm 99% sure most of the kids (the groups tend to be of people well under their mid-20s which was a red flag i should have noticed) are just kinnies roleplaying their favorite characters. any time i would try to explain something clinical about having DID and what it actually feels like for me, i would offend someone. one time, i explained that self diagnosing it is a bad idea when you're a kid, and it's actually unlikely because your brain doesn't really let you notice your symptoms (mine barely lets me do it even now!) and that apparently set off a chain reaction of "imposter syndrome" and someone even told me that i made them want to kill themselves. no i'm not kidding.
support groups or "communities" for DID/PTSD are anything but. you can't vet whether the members are actually dealing with a dissociative disorder because they actively discourage that and don't question self diagnosis. and maybe i just think that's so dangerous because i know my own disorder well enough after three years that i have only ever met and befriended one other system.
i'm sure i've met others, but not very many. the rest are just fantasy prone kids, which isn't an issue mind you - kids will be kids and i always appreciate creativity and relate to that on some levels. but consider having cancer and going through chemo, losing your hair, and being told by a healthy kid who just shaved their head that they understand your struggles. that's how i feel most of the time trying to join groups. it turns into a situation where it's almost like i'm feeding them information they didn't have about DID and many of them suddenly drop the act and realize they were actually mistaken about having it themselves. (ideal, in my opinion, because anyone seeking help for their mental health would be receptive to that, but very rare. but the fact that it happens in groups meant for people who supposedly already know they're going through dissociation and should be getting therapy is another red flag)
why do i bring this up? why am i ranting about this? it's just lonely, and it's really scary how misinterpreted and misunderstood something i have to live with is to others. but if i ever try to explain what it's like, or i want to share my experiences, i'm an asshole. my personality as a part of a system is misunderstood and i'm misread so much because i'm a "protector". (i'm used to most people thinking i'm too serious or even mean, but you'd think groups meant for DID would understand protective alters tend to be a bit emotionally constipated, and not give me a hard time for how i come across! well, no, they never do!) so maybe i just needed to vent a little steam i've had about it. i don't know if it makes sense to anyone.
i appreciate the few people who do understand what i go through and let me vent my struggles to them even if they may not be able to get inside my head. that's the most important thing i or any system could have.
still, it feels obnoxious to even talk about my DID because people have opinions and impressions about it that can be pretty shocking, and it really shows me why when this disorder is actually the most misunderstood and romanticized thing i've witnessed in a long time. and the fact that 'support groups' prioritize actual impressionable kids who couldn't possibly see their own symptoms over someone like me, for whom dissociation has destroyed my life, is disheartening. it doesn't feel very supportive. it feels like a high school club.
i'll try not to vent about this too much, but i know other people with DID actually feel the way i do, and it's only when my blunt ass mentions it that it's ever seen. and there's a reason for that. (they deserve to know they're not the crazy ones though. online groups fail us a lot of the time and they can be pretty dangerous.)

@ the other anon: most lesbians i have met have mostly guy friends. maybe because i know mostly tomboy/masc lesbians but even the feminine sporty ones tend to have guy friends. most normal people have mixed friend groups where i’m from gay or straight. i had far more straight women express homophobic sentiment or disgust at me than guys and i also just meet more men through my workplace and hobbies. that’s completely normal.
also most of us have dads, brothers, uncles etc we hang with and have good relationships with. polilezzes on here are just mental
having favorite characters from media that are male is also normal if you’re normal about it. no one’s going to convince me that woman on here who salivates about how hot and attractive certain male band members are is a lesbian lol. but if your favorite character as a kid was bugs bunny or you watch a tv show and like the male main character best that’s just normal? liking a characters personality etc isn’t the same as finding them attractive.
the reason why people freak out about that on this website is because 99% of fandom bloggers here are straight women constantly pretending male characters want to fuck each other and geriatric men are ‘hot’ to them
i don’t find men pretty or attractive. i cant relate to that sentiment. they all just look basically neutral to me?
See anon, you're not alone! 😁
I had periods of my life where I mostly hung out with women, but I lost touch with all of my het and bi female friends from school. Now they're all in long-term relationships with men, have children, etc. so I don't feel like I would have a nice time if we reconnected. I tried reconnecting with my best friend from primary school years ago and she treated me in a surprisingly condescending way, unfortunately.
At work, a lot of het and bi women see male attraction as the ultimate relatable small talk and use that topic all the time. At my last job, I got along well with my female coworkers but got asked on my very first lunch break if I had a boyfriend. Otherwise, they talk about Tinder dates, boyfriends, ex-boyfriends, male celebs they find hot, etc. So by default I ended up having lunch with the male coworkers because I couldn't connect with the women and they didn't try to get to know me better...
About appearance, I think it's just that we can compare them, like we see the difference if a man is sloppy or well-dressed, if he has good posture or not, if he gives off creepy vibes... but that doesn't have any more impact than that. At most, a muscular guy can inspire me to work out more so I can have big arms too 😆

So I read this article a few days ago, and I have been haunted by it ever since.
This young woman, Nevaeh, had an "oops" pregnancy. As you may have already guessed, she was from a Christian background--her name, "Heaven," spelled backwards, is popular in Evangelical circles. She, "believed abortion was morally wrong," and "didn’t care whether the government banned it," since she wouldn't have chosen to have one anyway.
Instead, she decided to carry the pregnancy to term and raise the baby, with the support of her mother and her boyfriend, the baby's father. Her boyfriend, the baby's father, gave her a diamond promise ring, and she picked out a name--Lillian--and planned a baby shower.
On the day of the baby shower, she felt unwell, then developed a fever and began vomiting. Her mother took to her to the ER, where she was given a prescription for antibiotics and sent home. A few hours later, she felt even worse, and her mother took her to the other hospital in their town, which had an obstetric emergency room. They did some tests, including checking the fetal heart rate, and told her the baby was fine. The gave her IV fluids and antibiotics, recorded her increasing fever, fast pulse, and high fetal heart rate, and sent her home again. She had to be taken out to the car in a wheelchair, because her pain was so bad.
A few hours later, she started bleeding, and they went back to the hospital with the obstetric emergency department. There, a different doctor did an ultrasound and was unable to find a fetal heartbeat.
Under Texas law, a medical practitioner faces up to 99 years in prison for performing any intervention that ends a fetal heartbeat. So, at this point, the doctors were free to treat her like a seriously ill human being, and not an ambulatory vessel for a life more valuable than her own--however, they hadn't recorded the first ultrasound. To ensure they could demonstrate compliance with the law, the doctor ordered a second one.
Somehow, that ended up taking about an hour and a half, during which time Neveah's condition got worse. By the time the second ultrasound was done, and the doctor was able to order a D&C to remove the deceased fetus, she was too weak to sign the release forms--her mother had to sign for her.
Before they got her into the operating room, she was dead.
If they were going to make an exception for anybody, they would have made one for her: a pro-life, Christian girl, who responded to her unplanned pregnancy by getting excited about becoming a mom. Who was not just unwell, not just in danger, but actually dying when she was refused care.
The Texas fetal heartbeat law does have an exception when the mother's life is at immediate risk. However, the Texas Attorney General has made clear--and several Trump-appointed judges have backed him up--to Texas doctors that they will be charged with homicide if he, who has no medical credentials whatsoever, disagrees with their professional judgment that a procedure which ended a fetal heartbeat was necessary to safe the life of the mother. That's why the doctor needed that second ultrasound.
That's probably why the other two doctors sent Nevaeh home: they couldn't be accused of an intervention that ended the fetal heartbeat, if they didn't intervene.
The leopards that eat people's faces, like all predators, go for the most vulnerable members of the herd. The guy up front on the podium, getting rich off bloviating about how leopards just have to eat a person's face from time to time, he's safe--not because of any loyalty on the part of the leopards, but because others in the group are softer targets.
Like I said, I'd been haunting me.

Alright, I did it.
Meet Arya Shah, Eli Shane's girlfriend.
I picture her as the daughter of a wealthy man, as her attire indicates. Perhaps he manufactures Slug blasters, hence why hers are so unique (I tried making them look like Slug blasters, okay?) I'm thinking she could meet Eli and the gang when they're in their twenties, which would be fun. I also want to add that I'd wanted her to ride a giant cat or wolf, and not a Mecha Beast. Just a regular animal, which would also show that her family is well-off. Not just anybody can have "normal" mounts in SlugTerra.
Arya is the third child of a family of six kids. She's a calm individual, but not above teasing or getting her hands dirty, and was the one member of her siblings who took to to Slugslinging so well. She has a fondness for her Slugs, naming quite a few in her arsenal. Although she enjoyed her time on the family estate, Arya would often ride her large panther, Phobos, into town and hear about what was going on in the 99 Caverns. Through this, she heard a lot about the new Shane in SlugTerra, but couldn't bring herself to leave her family, especially since her oldest brother was struggling to find the heart to take up their father's business. Despite this, she still entered in local competitions to learn Slugslinging - and, hopefully, prepare herself for when she did get the chance to leave for adventure.
Over the years, both her older brothers began learning their father's business. This gave Arya more freedom, and she began making plans to travel the Caverns and see where her destiny might lie. However, the youngest of her siblings was kidnapped in order to coerce her family's cooperation in building them new weapons. Desperate, Arya snuck out one night and found Eli and his friends. She pleaded her case, and after a bit of planning, she and the gang came back and rescued her sibling while also freeing her family of the villains. Although relieved, Arya found that she'd enjoyed the mission with Eli and the group - and her time with Eli as well. Packing her things and bidding her family farewell, Arya joined the group as their dual wielder, soon finding that she and Eli gone along quite well...
