The way homeless people are treated is INSANE.

I'm sitting inside a building. There's two other guys here.

A security dude comes over and tells the two guys to get out while he ignores me. He clearly saw me. But because i "don't look homeless" I can stay.

What the fuck. It's cold outside, it's raining, why the fuck can't they sit here. Literally there's almost no people here what is your ISSUE.

getting emotional over footage of an amateur scuba diver interacting with a coelacanth. they are hunted by large deepwater predators, and here comes a large creature bearing the brightest lights it's ever seen, making strange noises, but it does not shy away. it hovers, calmly, as the diver reaches out and trails a hand down its back. im strongly against the anthropomorphizing of real life animals but the stupid emotional part of me loudly insists this is because it recognizes us, the alternating movements of its four paired limbs matching the diver's four paired limbs, & it is thinking, "hello, cousins, we missed you these 66 million years, it's so good to see you again. welcome back, welcome home."

It's AWESOME #but I taught a bunch of kids archery this summer and none of the lads have the right posture lol #I'm walking up and down that line readjusting all of them ahsgdsdf #Imagine Wars going to Wind though like 'remember to pull back to your smile! :D '#and Wind just deadeye staring him down like you serious rn?#caught and removed a scorpion from the lake cabin biffy this summer - that was very exciting #calmed the campers down and put them to bed and then rolled up my sleeves and asked the program staff who was staying with us #for emotional support #her only experience with scorpions was from animal crossing so she was like 'get ready to run' and I'm- I think we'll be okay #anyways it's her perched on one of the toilets with a spray bottle of bleach and me with an empty tupperware from dinner #I caught it under the tupperware but IT MOVED THE TUPPERWARE #we drowned it in bleach and it like finally died but it took a while and then we flung it into the woods BYE BUGGY

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #granny wen #a-yuan #It's always fascinating how colours translate from the page to the screen.#It would probably surprise a lot of people to see what some of these comics actually look like in physical form.#My lighter colours takes about 3-4 washes before it shows up on scan which means it tends to ripple the page.#And my yellows and oranges are drastically different colours when scanned compared to the ink colour.#There's about 20 or so comics where everyone's hair is purple - because it scanned in the exact same colour as my light grey.#Wait my book is right here in front of me so I can...yeah...Comics 57-77 were indeed purple.#This is all to say - is it not fascinating how what we see is often not the full truth of what the subject truly is?#Is it not fascinating to open another episode that reminds us that despite everyone's claims they could totally spot the evil YLLZ-#-The man walks around among them for months as no more than a man haggling for deals like the rest.#It's almost as if he's just a person. It's almost as if none of us - no matter what we do are really anything more than just a person.#Your good acts will be overtaken by how other's interpret you in negative light.#Just as easily are people willing to forgive crueler actions if they hold you in high esteem.#But what's real? Is the page I hold the real version of this comic? Is it the one you look at?#Is the man known as Wuxian the most himself when he is alone or on the battlefield?#Perhaps he is and has always been a scared orphan boy lost in the market.#I think there is no good answer to any of these questions.#But I do know that panic rising in WWX as he frantically looks for A-yuan was for more than one boy.#To be human is to have layers around a delicate center. dating touya and always stealing this particular jacket that you secretly wanted for yourself only to be reminded "im just letting you borrow it" every time you reach for it.

you and touya break up and youre thinking back on that jacket months later because it "couldve elevated this outfit" so you go searching in your closet for an alternate option only to find that jacket balled up in the back among a pile of clothes he delivered to your front door just days after the break up.

you think about texting him. he probably mixed it in your clothes on accident? or maybe not. he would've texted you about it by now. maybe he doesn't want it back.

your finger hovers over his contact information.

it's been 2 months of getting that twinge of hope sparking up touya's spine whenever his phone vibrates in his pocket. it's never you, and he's been waiting for a while and he knows he will for a while more.

maybe you are just as cold as he tried to make you out to be- keeping this jacket of his knowing that it's his favorite. knowing that you wanted nothing to do with him. despite that, he hopes to see you around in it these days.

the jacket doesn't leave your bedroom. you never pressed the call button. he doesn't hear from you again.
