Speaking of their grouchy cat hubby, yes this is absolutely still Narilamb, Narinder is 100% into his goofy-ass spouse always no matter what and we all know it, he just wasn't expecting his brand new adopted kid to share the same single goofy-ass brain cell as the Lamb. :)

Made for that one Twitter trend of designing a Radioapple fankid! 📻🍎 I went with the dark haired variant because the Morningstar family already has too many blondes and I prefer to have half of both worlds when imagining them together. As the spawn of a radio host and a ringmaster (plus having a theater kid for an older sister), Faun was practically raised to perform and he chose to use his voice for comedy (influenced by his dads). But as the second heir, he's more likely to inherit LuLu Land than all of Hell, so it works out in his favor anyway. Low-key based on my little brother. Who would just barge in our room, say a godawful joke, then leave... Like wut??? 🤓

ABOUT THIS ARTSTYLE: I know it's a lot, but there's a reason I could never do a sketchbook tour. How do I even begin to explain??? When they turn out EXACTLY like this!!! actually you know what this is a fun idea for ALL of the matches. what if we DID just start making up in-character insults and "attacks". the rules are that they must be in-character only, they must be silly (so no bringing in actual character discourse, only dumb stuff), and that we try to make them as ridiculously mundane as possible. like. "did you know one time when quackity was on tv for a speech he was giving back when he was vice, i saw him trip on his shoelaces, except he was embarrassed about it, so he tried to play it off as cool, and instead just sort of looked even dumber." things like that.

COTL swap au (more like Goat au but alas) where the crowns are the same but instead Shamura kinda just fucks up a little too hard. More under the cut since this is very underdeveloped so im rambling <3

They know the prophecy and stuff and so once Narinder is like trying out his resurrection ritual they give him the think no evil treatment. Or maybe not that but injures him severely enough that he cant do that anymore and everyone else is like wtf Shamura hes our brother whatd he do???

Anyway domino effect where Shamura tries desperately to explain why they did what they did but people think/see that they went a liiiittle mad trying to prevent the erasure of the old faith so the gang bands together to sorta kill them but not? Havent decided yet but they get put in timeout somewhere locked up. They injure their siblings in their rage, because why cant they see that theyre just trying to help them?!

In their inprisonment they are alone. They dont get 2 kids to raise like Narinder had but instead I thought what if they had like a bunch of their followers whever theyre trapped with them? Narinder keeps sacrificing his most favored followers (and i like to think that Narinder had many cattle animals as followers) or perhaps Shamuras still alive and beliveing ones? Also undecided but Narinder sends them his gifts in form of sacrificed followers for company.

Shamura cant resurrect people hence my first issue with that idea but alas the Goat is 100% a gift from Narinder in this one. How idk yet but eventually they band together with Shamura for revenge and for the destruction of their siblings. Because after a 1000 years of time to think about the sourness of betrayal from their own kin they raised themself they decide the most fitting punishment is to actually erase the old faith. The goat as one of their most devoted is more than on board with that.

Anyway watch when the goat comes out that theyre just like some rando from an au where the old faith is all dead and the crowns need reclaiming or smt. Lol

Nah, but what if the reason Morgoth targeted the Noldor so much was bc, in regards to war, they were the equivalent of new-born babies.

Like, Morgoth definitely could have gone and terrorized the silvans/avari (and i’m not saying he left them alone, but he didn’t really focus on them (to our knowledge at least)) and even the sindar he didn’t terrorize as much as the noldor.

But here’s the thing, the middle earth born elves, especially the silvans/avari, which don’t have a barrier to keep them safe, have like 4000+ solar years of experience fighting.

the noldor, who straight up came out of literal heaven, with the barest grasp of war and battle there was, were genuinely an easier target to come at. Especially if he wanted to build strength after his imprisonment before going on to conquer more land.

Basically what i’m saying is that Morgoth had the choice of either fighting a martial arts master (silvans/avari and the sindar, to some extent) or a twig that just learned to throw a punch (the noldor, essentially). And he, naturally, chose to beat the weak opponent.

And it’s not like he was really wrong to, the noldor never really got a decisive win over Morgoth (that i can remember atm), nor did they succeed in holding him off indefinitely, seeing as it took the valar (finally) intervening for Morgoth to be defeated.

And i’m not saying that the noldor didn’t become good at war overtime, but there is definitely an experience gap there, and, ngl, i think there were also a number of stupid decisions made by the noldor, as a whole, that could have been avoided had they had a little more know how.

Tl/dr: Morgoth didn’t target the Noldor bc they were the largest threat, he targeted them bc he saw them as the easiest to conquer bc they lacked experience in the war area.

(Also, i know what i just wrote probably has some controversy, please note that this is my opinion, and it will stay my opinion. So please don’t come on here and go “well, you’re wrong”. I’m open to discuss it, not debate it.)
