Vil can't help but chuckle to himself as they watch the red queen's subjects practically run amok in the garden. So much was happening at once and yet ... they're somehow making progress with rounding up hedgehogs. Tending to the roses. "They have their own methods, don't they?" He watches as Ace practically launches for one of the hedgehogs. "You must let me borrow them one day. They can probably teach Epel a thing or two, heh." / I DONT REMEMBER IF I SENT THIS BUT VIL AND RIDDLE DISCUSSING SWAPPING STUDENTS SOMETIMES JUST FJSBD bratty queens ok

“They certainly do.”

Wrinkling his nose in disapproval as he watched Ace run amok, Riddle simply shook his head rather than expending the energy to start berating him. Besides, he didn’t want to look immature in front of Vil-senpai…he’d have to save discussing proper methods to care for them for later. At least Deuce was making a somewhat good impression, though the hedgehogs seemed to continue outsmarting him rather than the other way around, which was certainly…something. 

The blonde at his side did earn a small smile from him upon mentioning Epel, however. The little back and forth they had going on was rather funny…quite sweet in a sense, too. Riddle wasn’t always the best at discerning the feelings of others, but Epel made himself such an open book…it was clear to see that these days, what he wanted above all else wasn’t dissimilar to Riddle: Vil-senpai’s approval. He worked hard for it, and he’d certainly come a long way with his housewarden’s assistance since first arriving at their school.

“Oh my, Epel? I should rather hope he’d be able to teach Ace.”

Riddle’s fiery first year, on the other hand, hadn’t calmed down very much at all. Oh well…he couldn’t help but have a soft spot for his underclassmen either way. Ace and Deuce were both well-intentioned, good boys. It was why he personally paid special attention to guiding them and helping them further their potential. Deuce did well with it, but Ace…oh, Ace. He and Riddle were still always butting heads; he was so antagonistic about everything, and he was always causing trouble for the other dormheads. He instigated, and inflamed, and even hid poor exam results. Not to mention, he often roped Deuce and a bunch of the other first years into his misadventures…Riddle didn’t know what to do with the boy. It was a bit embarrassing. But as far as Epel went...perhaps Vil-senpai didn’t see it as easily, but he seemed to be turning out quite well.

“Epel is quite a nice boy. He’s invited me to visit his hometown for the holidays…though I doubt I’ll be able to attend. He’s quite brave as well - his unique magic is amazing, and the way he uses it for the sake of keeping others safe is admirable. When we were trapped in Nobel Bell College, he demanded he accompany me on a quite dangerous mission, and refused to take no for an answer. He proudly declared that your Queen would have gone straight into battle herself just as mine would have, and disallowed any rejection from me.”

He hummed for a moment, pausing to pick up a small pink hedgehog that rolled into his foot, petting its little head before peering up at the male next to him once more.

“I was quite impressed, you know. I’m sure he learned that pride in Pomefiore’s legacy, and that bravery, from you, Senpai. Though that quick thinking on his feet and the desire to protect seems entirely innate. I felt proud on your behalf. Rook-senpai certainly was.”

I think this is the first time I've ever seen a character make Shakespeare's life a living hell and the latter didn't expect/see it coming, that was AMAZING. Mf was out here like "What the hell??? listen when we say we need aroace rep - we MEAN we need AROACE REP. becuze shock of all shocks, a character being just ACE is not aroace rep! same with a character being just aro is not aroace rep. not all aroace ppl see their aro and ace identities as separate.

I for one, find it difficult to separate my aro and ace identities from each other which is why i am AROACE and not aro and ace. A character being only ace is not representing me. I do not feel represented by only an ace character. they are not even half representing me because my asexuality goes hand in hand with my aromantisism. and Ace character is not half representing aroace people. I'm sorry but i do not relate to the alloace experience because i am not alloace. so a character being only ace is not relatable to me because they are not aroace. the same goes for if a character was only aro or aroallo.

Now before anyone decides to misinterpret this post to hell and back I'm not saying that aroallo or alloace rep is bad or shouldn't exist. I'm saying stop throwing aroace rep under the bus because "Actually we need more just aro/just ace rep" as if that somehow solves the issue of aroace rep being nonexistent.
