depression is really weird actually wdym i spent 2.5 years of my life in bed

#and wdym that lifestyle changed so quickly into being out and about and an active member of the world??#very proud of myself #and i mean it wasn't that quick of a change #it was like 1.5 years primarily depression bedrotting with occasional school -> primarily depression bedrotting ->#primarily depression bedrotting with 3-9 hours of work weekly -> straight into 31+ hours school+9-12 hours work weekly #so there was somewhat of a gradual progression #but still #also wowza i wake up 7-7:30am every morning now. 1pm was an early wake up for a not so insignificant amount of time #i mean of all fundamental growth years to miss out on the ages like what 12/13-15 aren't too bad? they would suck in a different way if i #had been socially involved #anyway it's just. yea i'm proud of myself but it is a crazy lifestyle change #and even when i was deeply depressed in a horrible routine i feel like i learned a lot. how to regulate my emotions and cope well and find #the joy in everything. bc if i stayed in bed all day then i would at least be happy about the sun or whatever #and for the while of being not at school at all i WANTED to be at school i just could not find one bc our school system is so cute like tha #(basically every school is at capacity and the local school that has a guaranteed place for me would have been an all boys or girls 😭)#but i miraculously found and got into this school and miraculously made it work so well for me socially and now academically #it's also a good time to get back into school for my education bc any later and it woulda been pretty bad for all my certifications and uni #ive missed out on so much maths that its not worth it to me to try and catch up but my teacher knows that #but ive always hated maths regardless i only ever understood it for the first half of yr 7 then my attendance dropped #and after my recent exam i decided to try harder at school. but i still got an A on the exam i didn't study for!! academic weapon fr #i'm just idk thinking back to myself in the past few years #and how hopeless it all felt. but i got out of it!! i beat the depression and social anxiety and found a good place and made the most of it #and during the peak of my depression i remember i went out someplace near my old school and panicked so so badly about seeing #kids from my old school. and the friends at the time didnt really check on me when i went to shake and cry in a side street lmao #i kept the best of that friendgroup and have better friends now. but anyway now i take a bus each morning with some kids from my old school #and you see these hands? they look like they're shaking to you?#anyway yeah it's just cool i got to this point :) i really had no hope for so long but now i have a life i'm living and a future i'm build #--ing towards #which is funny i just decided some random day last november after watching some better call saul 'huh actually lawyer would b pretty cool'#and will i get there? we'll see but i do have hope now

Castlevania is interesting but tell my why we get three episodes of internal conflict in the dracula castle (good) while the main characters are on a library and do fuck all. Well they have three scenes of relationship building that are supposed to mean something when they come out but they are so little and superficial imo

Finally got my grabby hands on stardew valley and this might just be love at first sight

#Svtag #The character selection thing gave me choice paralysis wdym name your favorite thing. I hate it here #I named my farm sprinkler farm because apparently there's a farm where you can't use sprinklers so I chose the first one #It was immediately hilarious lore wise like wouldn't my grandpa name the farm that before sprinklers were invented #That's okay though because apparently fortune telling is a thing in this universe&this is not too far off #There was a farm game I played as a kid and if I learned anything from it it's don't underestimate the power of a humble sprinkler #Also I got lost in a forest till 1am and that's when I thought maybe it's a good thing I didn't choose the monster map #I had just enough energy before sleep to mess up my sleep schedule first thing into the game #(I didn't do that. weekly dunmesh ep post here to say that as one of the eps that didn't follow their usual formula I loved this one to bits 😭 pacing felt just right, didn't feel that rushed to me (tho maybe that's bc I kept goin back to watch more details lol) and the canaries and yaads voices in sub are all really really good

hell day today and i'm only two hours into my EIGHT HOUR SHIFT

#9 to 5 by dolly parton starts playing in the background..#literally had to open up shop alone 2day and also was entirely alone for the first 45 min. of my shift so that was already a negative start #to the day + i heard that i can't have my break later than two thirty which is very bad for me bc 1) there'll be a lot of ppl all around me #when i'm eating which i already dislike and 2) like 85% of ppl taking their break around that time are VERY noisy eaters so even worse and #then 3) it'll be really loud in the room as well bc everyone's talking loudly and eating and the cutlery's clanging against plates and such #and also some ppl have actual full-blown arguments with each other in the break room bc half the ppl here hate each other's guts so more #negatives to the day and then on top of that we've had sooooo many annoying customers already today who r just. intent on making u stressed #out and upset and literally will tell u to your face to 'do your job better' like bro...i can easily tell you haven't worked in retail....#also someone hung their clothes on the rack outside the fitting rooms which is where u hang ur clothes when you're DONE fitting them & don'#want them bc they don't fit or don't sit right or u just don't rlly like them after all so if clothes are hanging there we the ppl working #there WILL take them and hang them back in their original places what did u expect to happen?? anyway someone hung the clothes they had #tried on already and did want there and i reached out to take them bc like. that's what we do here..we hang the clothes on the 'discard #rack' back in the store bc else the rack gets stuffed and the woman literally grabbed my arm and said 'those are mine what do u think you'r #doing' LIKE?????? GIRL THE RACK'S THERE FOR A REASONNNN ofc i'm going to assume u don't want them anymore if they're hanging there that's #why it's called the DISCARD rack....also how am i to know those specific clothes are yours HONESTLYYYYYY STFU AND GET OFF ME #ALSO some dude was like (to his child but like. looking at me while he said it.) psych institutions should be awarded for being the most unfriendly places for nd and mentally ill folk. funnily enough. do they not know what demographic uses their services?

#vent in tags #the fuck wdym i need to CALL you so many times bc i need to schedule my assessment date #(bc first of all i asked to be put into psych ward to get evaluated bc i thought it'd be faster and id save money and stress of even getting #there bc it's 2+ hrs drive away and they told me they'll call me 'next week' bc in summer the waiting queue is not really long #but they didn't call!!!!!!!!!! and i called them on literally friday and said i want to do just the assessment whatever i'll get a bus there #even if it's 3 times bc i couldn't wait any longer since i was starting a job #and they said 'well the doctor is now on vacation since YESTERDAY so you'll have to call this number when he's back in the middle of july'#so like they never even meant to call me 'next week' as they said in the first place???#i said ok will do so and then i called on the 14th and they said the doctor's not back yet he's starting work from the 18th #tf!!! why not tell me exact date in the beginning #and the fucking receptionist or whatever was so judgemental bc i didn't know the doctor's name #and i said 'yeah idk bc i saw him for the first time ONCE last time' and i just happened to see him bc the doctor i had the appointment with #apparently got sick the exact day i was meant to arrive and no one from the staff knew that they were sick??????#so they quickly arranged a doctor that was available #and he didn't even introduce himself #but that receptionist got my blood boiling so much i was like 'cant you like check what doctor i had an appt with by my name???'#ITS LITERALLY NOT THAT HARD AND THEY WERE SO 'how can you not know your doctor's name [insert diminutive form to call me]'#eng equivalent would literally be 'little girl/boy' yeah they literally called me like that and also misgendered me #so that felt like double the insult #and so i have to call for the fucking third time today and im procrastinating it so bad like im so anxious #double the anxiousness that the last times #; words generated by me
