#i'm walking a couple miles to my mother's house at 5am #because she's away and it's sunday so there's no public transport #and she has a delivery window between 7am and 10am so guess who's been eldest daughter would-you-mind'ed #joke's on them this is where my insufferable morning person trait has truly come in useful #i'm walking around the world and nobody else is here. just me and the birds :)))#i am content with the world at 5am #i love summertime. pale blue mornings and birdsong #it's mostly seagulls shrieking where i am rn but i'm romanticising damn it #i'll be in the forest in about 15 mins and it'll be less cursed birdsong then #no traffic to stop me nothing i have to wait for everything is still #10/10 experience mornings are to be savoured highly recommend #so it is decreed

idk who needs to hear this, but if you realize 30k words in that there's a task you're going to need to do, do it then. fix things and do the task as you go.

under no circumstances should you wait until you're 130k words in and all you want is to curl up under the covers with this thing you've written for you and you alone, because you will find that it is rife with errors you can't look past and you will spend h o u r s trying to wrangle it into something resembling what you wanted.

i took living by the beach for years for granted.... i can't believe i'm saying this but i miss you florida. well i don't miss the scary invasive iguanas and that specific brand of white floridian and like. whatever the hell is going on politically there now. but the beach :( waves... surfing. i love to surf. i could get up at 4am to a completely deserted beach and beautiful calm water. i am a fool -_-

#rn i live like 2? 3? hours from the beach. without traffic and stuff it would be more like 40 mins but well. the american dream #i used to live where i could like. walk outside my house. walk 1 or 2 mins. ocean.#sometimes it flooded severely and i mean those iguanas are really scary. gators? fine. iguanas? scary. Scary.

all the foreshadowing in s6 has made me feel SO entirely insane while rewatching it all so close to having watched it the first time.

in 6x09 buck literally complains that his skin feels funny from the wind and hen says it's the ions in the air (it's a thing, in her words). but. do you know what air ions are??

yeah. electrified air, basically. buck is........the only one to mention this. and yknow. what happens exactly one episode later? buck. on top of a ladder. in a thunderstorm. things seem strange, things feel weird, he looks up and asks a succinct what the hell is going on? and then as we all know...lightning strikes. but. yknow what happens right before a lightning strike???

yeah. electrified. air. again. so in 6x10 on the top of that ladder, things may have, in fact, felt weird. but ... there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for it the last time he felt something like that, why should it be any different now?
