Funeral at Grayside

Small traditional funeral held on Grayside Island for late Viscount Jean-Paul.

Spotted disembarking from a private boat on the dock outside of Grayside Estates, were Princess Victoria Yang, Lord Louis' wife, and The Right Honorable Miss Feng Mian Dias, Lord Rene's girlfriend. The pair, who both reside in San Myshuno, flew together to the Brindleton airport, then boarded the Grayside boat to take them the the family's estate on the private island.

The two cousins arrived in the usual modern mourning style clothes- black with only pearls for embellishments, for a small church service in the Grayside Estate Chapel on the island- a member of the Holy Simsdom Church Communion. No photos have been released from this private family service, but sources say it was beautiful, and the late Viscount would be very honored.

Pictures have surfaced, however, from paparazzi waiting in a boat off the island, of the family holding a traditional farewell service at the graveside, from Viscount Jean-Paul's parent's country of origin.

Princess Victoria and Rt. Hon. Miss Feng Mian Dias changed into traditional funeral Hanboks, and joined their partners, and Lord Marcel, at the graveside of the dearly departed Viscount Jean-Paul to say goodbye. He is burried beside his wife who predeceased him, the late Viscountess Camille Yang. He is succeeded by his three sons- Louis Yang, the new Viscount Grayside (Princess Victoria Yang), Lord Marcel Yang, and Lord Rene Yang (Rt. Hon. Miss Feng Mian Dias).

The Art Nouveau style caused a dramatic shift in jewellery design, reaching a peak around 1900 when it triumphed at the Paris International Exhibition.

Its followers created sinuous, organic pieces whose undercurrents of eroticism and death were a world away from the floral motifs of earlier generations. Art Nouveau jewellers like René Lalique also distanced themselves from conventional precious stones and put greater emphasis on the subtle effects of materials such as glass, horn and enamel.

René Lalique, 'the admitted king of Paris fashions', chose his materials for aesthetic effect and artistic refinement, not for mere preciousness or brilliance. Credited with introducing horn into the jewellery repertoire, he dazzled the public with a collection of ornamental combs made of horn. They were moulded and sculpted in the shape of flowers, waves and butterflies.
