In terms of "nerdy stuff that Derek would love and Killie would find completely confusing and possibly threatening", where would playing escape rooms fall? Killie seems like he'd have a hit-or-miss relationship with puzzles and riddles while Derek seems like he had a formative relationship with The Hobbit's 'Riddles in the Dark' scene

You’re so right bestie!! Killie was something of an asset in the competitive nerd gaming circumstances they met in; as you say, a hit-or-miss thing. The nerds wanted him on their team for a lot of reasons besides his nice bum. He’s very good at math, spatial reasoning, and things like calculating odds. I’m currently picturing a sort of Lord of the Rings themed reality show in which teams competed outdoors to get points, and it was useful having at least one person as a strong practical and physical presence, even one with zero trope awareness.

Unfortunately the locked-in-a-room aspect of escape rooms, while obvious to anyone else, would not necessarily enhance the abilities of someone who is mentally kind of a wild horse.

He’s sort of emitting a stressed-out frequency audible only to bees and Charlie. It feels like High C, or perhaps a fork in a microwave. He’s fine though. Cool. Chill, even. He’s participating. Just out of interest: would anyone object to him having the door open. Or breaking it open? maybe. Yeah. No, no, carry on with the things and stuff.

It’s just that Killie has kind of a thing about stealing - well not so much stealing horses as moving them around a bit, with certain amounts of doors or gates or latches or morals or checks upon one’s impulses in the way being sort of academic, if there’s a Situation - and he suddenly fancies stealing himself.

♥ Jason Grace ♥- would love restaurant dates and picnic dates. Anything that involves food. Camp Jupiter had never really allowed Jason to 'devour' meals because "he had to maintain his body" and he mostly had to eat extremely organic/healthy stuff. So sometimes he likes to go crazy on nice food to fill the void that has left him all these years. He'd also LOVE vacation dates like boating in Venice and all that cool stuff. According to him, life's way too short to not travel the world. Dates with him would be so calm and chaos free because he has everything planned so well :( he wants your dates to be perfect and doesn't want you to get stressed with the packing/planning. One thing about Jason though is that he's a worrywart, so he'd always be stressing out about the airplane schedules and when it would depart and stuff lol but love to be cheesy like kisses you whenever there's a fancy fountain in the name of being 'romantic' 🥹💝 also buys you souvenirs and cute lil stuff. Also, museum dates, he's a history nerd!!

⟢ Leo Valdez ⟢ cooking dates!! Or amusement park dates, but Leo, as social as he is, prefers staying at the comfort of home because he's gone through so many foster homes. He loves cooking Mexican food and loves to use you as a taste test participant haha, if he's feeling energetic then he'll probably go to a carnival with you, trying out all flavours of cotton candy, all the rides, and would even do cute shit like win you a plushie from the games :(( he would be dedicated! Also he loves celebrating latina holidays with you, if you aren't latina, he would love to teach you about the festivals and the cultural practices and stuff! He's a very proud man of his culture

𓇼Percy Jackson𓇼 - as opposed to the fandom's popular opinion, i personally think Percy would hate aquarium dates. He would hate aquariums in general tbh. They're basically just tanks with sea creatures confined in them, Percy hates that canonically, doesn't he? Anyways, I'd say Percy loves the arcade/movies, and for some reason he's definitely a skater boy, so he'll talk you to skate park dates where he teaches you how to skate, so cute!! So far he gives off the most "american teenage boy" vibes. Just youthful and cheerful dates. You guys eat blue popcorn while watching romcoms and sitcoms together, skate at night where New York is just bustling with city lights, also baking dates!! You both have a competition on who makes better blue food and Sally is the judge ahh

Frank is definitely pro! wilderness (duh) so he loves the outdoors, also hiking is super fun with him because he can change into whatever animal he wants and takes you on cool rides as a big swamp lizard or a crocodile lol roasting marshmallows with him while telling him scary stories>>>. Frank and you have a huge picnic in the middle of a forest, and you both sleep in the same tent, cuddling <33

How do you imagine Nikita as a boyfriend? (Even if you doubt he would have a girlfriend, dang if he just knew how many girls like him now😭)

I need to add "headcanon tcc" to all my other achievements, lol.

I feel like it'd be like with his friendships, but with more awkwardness, at least at first. He'd never have taken the initiative, everything would have to be done by another person. I don't think he'd have even genuinely hoped for anything, he considered himself crap and worthless. And it'd feel a little strange for him that someone is really kind to him and wants to spend time with him (and possibly in a ROMANTIC way!), and doesn't mock him or use him. He'd be equally happy and anxious. Perhaps he'd have lost sleep over it, thinking about everything, it could be summed up as "Maybe..! No..." In short, the other person would have to take the initiative in communicating with him, at least at the very beginning, make him feel comfortable, support and listen to him. He needed someone with whom he could just be his quiet self, and another person would take lead, and it'd give HIM confidence, and he'd also start doing something.

🤍× In the established relationship, well, I think he'd still feel awkward and nervous, it'd take time for him to stop worrying about possibly being boring and not good enough. I mean, he wouldn't be all 🥺😔🙁, he'd just feel insecure from time to time, just some self-doubt in the back of his head, especially if he felt bad mentally. 🤍× He'd probably feel kinda ashamed of himself being good-for-nothing, not conventionally attractive or rich, for being an apathetic wreck that struggles with basic things such as hygiene. 🤍× Maybe he'd feel the pressure of responsibility. Because it's so serious now! He'd feel like the other person expects him to do something, like in typical TV series and movies, and it'd stress him out. He'd constantly need to be reassured, to have some (non-verbal) confirmation that the person was having fun with him and didn't feel some kinda envy when looking at other couples. 🤍× From time to time, he'd internally struggle with "I don't want to be a loser, I'm a MAN, I have to be a leader in this relationship." Another thing to be insecure about. 🤍× But apart from that, he'd constantly try to come up with something interesting to do. But he didn't really like ACTUALLY doing things and leaving the house, he probably wouldn't be a big fan of typical dates and all that jazz, he was broke anyway (but I think it'd be possible to drag him somewhere, but he'd feel awkward and nervous at first, and he'd kinda hate it because it'd be new to him, but then he'd start having fun in the process and think, "Well, I guess it wasn't that bad"). He'd rather be at home or at another person's place, or just taking a walk with them. Or doing some stupid shit if he feels comfortable and silly enough. 🤍× He's the type of person to suggest something and look at the other person, gauging their reaction, waiting for an approving signal to continue and develop the thought. It'd make him more at ease, more confident. 🤍× One of his favorite things to do would be to browse the internet, watching videos and playing games together. I think he'd feel pretty hyped and confident when he showed what he liked, what he was interested in, anything to make himself look cool, interesting, knowledgeable in something. He desperately needed someone who shared his interests and understanded him. Maybe he would have offered to participate in the making of his new album somehow. 🤍× Overall, he'd be kinda fun and chill if he felt comfortable. And maybe a little crazy, saying and doing weird stuff, if too comfortable. 🤍× The type of person to get PAINFULLY attached. Sometimes he'd prefer to be alone, but he'd miss the person pretty quickly. He'd HATE to be physically far away and for a long period of time (and that long period would be, like... a week or less), like, he'd be VERY upset. Would feel SUPER frustrated if one of them had some stuff to do and they wouldn't be able see each other. For example, some kinda trip. 🤍× He could get upset/frustrated/mad because of something, but he wouldn't talk about it and say what it was. He probably would have said that everything was fine, but you could tell by his frown that something was wrong. You'd have to torture him to get him to tell you. 🤍× There's a possibility of him hiding behind the "Oh, I'm so tuff" persona and 100 layers of irony, sarcasm and trolling (and then lowkey forgetting who the hell he actually is) when he doesn't feel like opening up and being vulnerable. 🤍× Overall, he'd be inexperienced in right about everything and make mistakes because of it, but he wouldn't actually wanna mess it all up. He'd be pretty reliable and trustworthy. And easy to control. Don't use that against him. </3 🤍× He'd feel scared of getting hurt.

The week will take place from March 1st to March 7th

This prompt list above has two word prompts, and an AU prompt for each day in the week. there are not three prompts each day unless you want there to be, theres just multiple options!

for each prompt, you can use your art medium to create something centered around that prompt. the usual is art/fanfiction, but other mediums are welcome!

each prompt is very widespread and can be anything you want it to be. its up to you to come up with something cool! All characters other than GGY are welcome. The only must have for each prompt is that it includes GGY somehow. whether it be past, present or future.

dont be a freak. no NSFW allowed along with the usual weird stuff. it will not be reblogged on this account and shared if so. if your work includes anything extreme like gore or certain phobias, please tag accordingly!

There's absolutely regular talent shows and battles of the band every quarter or so.

Spider-people usually aren't the most popular back home on their Earth's, so Miguel permits having shows and activities like this so Spider-people can bond and relieve stress between Canon Events

Hobie has won multiple times - His and Gwen's band won last quarter, BUT they don't always win. MetroSpider is another past winner.

The rule is Spider-members only. But if your powers help your music, you can use them (ie, Hobie can play guitar without an amp-)

Training is a HUGE thing.

And it's mandatory even between missions. Time trails, Web strength testing, problem resolution training, weekly classes - It's a lot.

Your training schedule isn't always the same, and your classes are determined by your skill, specific powers, and universe

Money isn't used on campus. It's banned actually, and mostly useless when everyone is from a universe with a different exchange rate, political climate, tender etc.

Instead, The main currency is based on a points system connected to training/missions.

The more missions you do, or the more you train (therefore making you a better hero to your universe), the more points you earn

Things like the cafeteria and dorms are completely free. But points can be used to earn perks like suit upgrades, or things from the commissary

The Commissary is a store on campus where you can buy authorized items from other Earth's.

They have everything from training materials like mechanical webbing - with different properties/effects - to leisure things like cool video games from Margo's world or music from other time eras, vintage things from old universes, etc

Points can also be used for a number of other stuff such as:

Extra jumps on your watch. The more missions you do, the more jumps you can buy, allowing you to go to other universes on your off time (to hang with friends)

Suit Upgrades. Your suit is surveyed and upgraded for free at joining, and it gets upgraded with every class you gain (C Class -> B Class -> A Class -> etc.)

However, you can use points to upgrade or even just redesign your suit. There is a Suit Center where fashionable and genius Spider-people will help you design and adjust your suit based on your universe and villains

There's support groups, a lot centered around Canon Events.

For teens and young Spider-people there's an Educational Program

It can be done part-time with active mission work or full-time on campus

You train in multiversal research, Spider genetics, and other technology such as Doc Ock technology and Green Goblin biology

You can be offered a job on campus after completion - Margo is a graduate of this

If your participate in Educational Program, Lyla will be your mentor and you'll report to her

Educational students live in separate dorms, and the program is kinda intense, but VERY fun

There are different focuses in the program

Spider-Geneticists have a short residency after, they help take Spider vitals and oversee Training

You can also specialise in Spider-medicine - in which you work in the Infirmary

There are some CRAZY (secret) Parties all over the Spider-verse.

Disco-Spider loves a good party. Her and Pavi through insane ragers, a new one in a different universe everytime

Miguel has no idea

But partying on the walls and ceiling while Spider-people play super-human live shows in the world's craziest mosh-pit -

Spider-parties hit different.

It's one of the only time everyone is unmasked around each other

There's a really loose dress code

You DO NOT have to wear your suit 24/7. What is someone gonna do, rat you out in your universe?

Everyone is in their suit for ATSV cause Miguel asked them to be completely professional that day (as an intimidation tactic)

That's why Jess, Gwen, Peter, and Hobie are all fine showing their faces as soon as they get to campus.

If anything it's usually seen as weird to be wearing your mask all the time

Casual clothing is allowed. Skirts and dresses without anything underneath aren't allowed (you'll be upsidedown.)

You're expected to have two suits (one main, one spare - you get these at joining) for missions and a separate training outfit for your classes

There's super sports teams

Spidey Football (European not American) expands the rules to all four walls with a ball engineered to stick like Spidey-people do

Track & Swing Team - which Pavitr is a star member of

A small swim-and-dive team for the swimmers, and a small Roller Derby league for the skaters

Pavitr is also a star on the gymnastics team

There's also things like ballet groups, though Gwen doesn't take part

There's a REALLY GOOD Glee club. Spider-strength gives some crazy lung-capacity.

Disco is on the Glee club, and they take it very seriously

Living on campus doesn't threaten your home verse - you'll still be on call!

Lyla monitors all universes for anamolies - sending Anamoly Teams of 2-6

However if your universe experiences a non-anamoly, your watch will be pinged for a mandatory report, and you'll be sent to your universe to handle it

As such, your watch is like a doctor's pager. You can be called for anamolies or your universe at any time (If you're an active member in your universe, living on Society Campus, or have a contact negotiated for that. Class S members like Hobie can negotiate to be Selective Active members)

There's a little underground Spider-market

If you ask Hobie, he can definitely hack your watch for you.

If your Electro has been beating your ass, you can get your hands on electro-resistant webbing without spending points.

The Society has a small group of people willing to trade you for anything you've got, or even just help you out for the hell of it.

You just have to know where and who to ask

There's a couple Spideys that don't pay electric because someone hooked them up with a super clean Futuristic generator

MJ's, Black Cats, Osborns, and Deadpools are allowed on campus with clearance, a daypass, and a chaperone (their Spidey)

Only for short periods, or if they're super injured. An MJ might pop in when Peter forgets his lunch.

Aunt Mays are not.

It's considered very rude to call them by their 'base names' - ie. calling MJs 'Mary-Janes' or calling Black Cats 'Felicias'

Not all MJs are Mary-Janes

Though, using the term 'a Parker' is common on campus to refer to large Peter Parker population

Roughly 45-50% of the people on campus are named Peter.

There's other 'groups' - such as 'Not-Parkers' (Non-Peter iterations like Pavitr), and 'Duplicates' (Hobie Brown, Gwen Stacy, MJs, Felicia Hardy NightSpider etc)

Though calling them these things are way less common or accepted than calling someone a Parker ('Not-Parker'is neutral. 'Duplicate' is offensive)

i've recently been considering hosting a fanweek centered around GGY in honor of its first anniversary in around a month!

the week would take place from February 29th to March 7th. march 7th is the release date of the book GGY so it would be leading up to then!

a prompt list of 7 days, each day having two word prompts and one AU prompt would be given and each participant would create a drawing/fanfiction centered around it!

making 7 works for each day is not required. this is all for fun, so even if you only do 5 works, or even 2 its all cool!

the prompt list would be released weeks early before the week actually begins to give each participant time to create what they want without stressing over making something each day. each person would then post everything theyve made on its respective day during the week.

each prompt would of course be centered around GGY/Gregory! its a free for all with AU's and interpretations. youll have the choice each day to pick a very widespread word prompt that could cover lots of ground or an AU prompt to make something specifically for that.

all characters go. if you chose a prompt and wanted to make it about GGY himself, thats great! or if you chose to include characters like Vanny, Vanessa, Freddy, Tony, Ellis, or the Mimic, that would be completely fine too. each prompt is pretty open, and the only must haves would be that GGY has to be included somehow.

each work would be reblogged on a special blog created for the fanweek, so each work would be in one place. the blog is not created yet.

Hi, Raven! I just wanted to ask if it's very pressuring to be seen as like this type of fandom authority/big figure in the twst fandom? Which you're not, and I'm aware of it but I can't help but think and notice that a lot of people generally view you and your blog in that manner. I hope that hasn't soured your enjoyment in the fandom btw if it is the case, it can be daunting to be kind of upheld to a standard and responsibility you didn't ask for. But I hope you're still having fun and enjoying yourself because that's what fandom really is about at its core. Hope you have a good day!! 💖

Well 💦 it’s stressful, yes. but only when I’m made cognizant of that. Typically I don’t think of myself as being in that position, but I’m reminded of it when I receive the occasional ask that opens or closes their question/comment with really intense praise.

Thankfully, I have the luxury of being selective about which asks I reply to, but sometimes it can be as simple as skimming an ask that brings about a churning dread or cognitive dissonance in my stomach. I take a lot of time to formulate what I hope are thoughtful responses in part because I feel like I have some degree of responsibility for those who seem to place so much stock in what I say… It makes me anxious about all the potential ways it could go wrong. Unclear wording/tone misconstruing the intended message, people weaponizing my posts to justify their own takes, arguments breaking out, etc. Then that leads into worries about not deserving this position (ayy, love imposter syndrome/j) and it becomes a cycle that’s hard to break.

If people want to view me as some higher authority or big figure, then there’s only so much I can do to stop them. I can tell others all I want that I don’t like being put on such a high pedestal all I like, but it would do very little to change their mindsets. The best I can hope for is reminding them of where my boundaries lie when people start to act too attached to me. Like, you definitely should not be soliciting free favors, seeking validation, asking for life advice, and/or traumadumping to me, a complete internet stranger. (These have all happened before.) Remember, me being friendly ≠ being friends with me.

I’ve never been someone who reacts well to parasocialism or celebrity culture (something which I highlight in this post). I like to compartmentalize, separate reality from fandom, keep to myself and my own lane, be a private person… so it’s unnerving for me to suddenly be the recipient of parasocial behaviors. Again, I must stress that parasocialism is, in of itself, NOT a bad thing. It can, however, quickly snowball into emotional dependency or a falsified sense of intimacy. That’s why I keep stressing—especially recently—that I have to draw the line and make my boundaries clear.

Now, that isn’t to say that all of my parasocial experiences have been negative ones. Far from it! I’ve had the honor of meeting and getting to know many cool individuals through my activity in this fandom. (If you’re reading this, you know who you are 🫵) I’ve been able to participate in numerous group projects and activities alongside those people. I’ve gotten fan art and interesting asks from so many Twsties that are just as excited about my OC or new story content as I am. I’ve received kind words when I really needed them or when I least expected it. I will forever be grateful for that ^^ and I’d still say that the majority of my time in the TWST fandom has been chill and fun.

In my experience, I’ve seen both the highs and lows of fandom as the result of parasocialism. I of course evaluate them on a case-by-case basis, but what I want to point out is that I do not want overfamiliarity or people overstepping, especially if I have never spoken with you one-on-one off-Anon before 💦 I think that’s reasonable for me to request.

First and foremost, my dear writing friend @eclec-tech. She is literally the coolest. Her stories?!?!?!? Some of the best AU and OCs I've ever read. I will love and ship Tech/Phee, but Miran Threst has first place in my heart for Tech (even over my own OC!) She's read a lot of my work, encouraged me so much in the beginning of my time writing and even now when I get very disheartened with my progress. She's the reason I'm here on Tumblr! Her stories are just so cool. And she's a cool person.

Of course there is my bestie @photogirl894 🥰she shares my innate love for Hunter and the Bad Batch. Her ideas are SO fun and she's so fun to chat with. I've read a lot of her work before we met and I fangirled from a distance til she invited me to chat. I'm still so in awe of just talking to her, it'd be a dream to write something with her.

@apocalyp-tech-a is a moot I'd love to get to know more. Her work is freakn amazing!!!!! I know we share a love of many things, especially poetry. Her things never disappoint. Her Tech anthologies blow me away. She's so sweet and humble too.

not to rekindle old discourse if you've moved on, but i was listening to you & @kindlespark's interview on the complicated women podcast / have enjoyed reading your fhjy posts and wanted to ask your thoughts on why the beginning of the season felt so promising to you? i enjoyed the premiere and the premise of the stresses of 11th grade/the rat grinders as foils, but as the season continued i started to feel disillusioned - it seemed less and less like an interactive/collaborative story (cassandra's death, fig's quest to rehabilitate ruben, the ratgrinders being really hard to find/interact with in general) and more of a tour through some unsatisfying callback easter eggs (i simply don't care about porter and it kind of felt like not even emily did). imo the ratgrinders were set up to fail as a narrative concept ever since the bad kids got mad at them for grinding and brennan just sheepishly grinned and shrugged at the camera, and while i share your disappointment that there was no coming together/addressing the root academic injustices that plagued both the bad kids and the ratgrinders, i don't think it was as surprising to me, as the season had already felt too filled with bits/joking around to be that dramatically tight - ironically, i think they got too bogged down in roleplaying scholastic tedium. i tend to come to d20 with a mindset of like, this is primarily a comedy and if they end up producing a satisfying narrative arc, great (and they certainly have achieved this in the past), but i don't think it's a coincidence that most d20 seasons are regarded as having unsatisfying endings - i think it's an incredibly hard thing to do in a ttrpg setting, even for professionals, especially so if their instincts are more towards comedy. they are great artists and improvisers, but evidently that doesn't mean they can't fail to cohere, and i think this season suffered from a lack of investment in narrative all around - brennan not being as flexible with the plot as he's been in the past, the players i think (some anyway) feeling a little tired of these characters and playing them as more chaotic/violent than usual (kristen's random nudism, fig's truancy, gorgug's hatred/bullying of maryann, fabian threatening to skin ivy). idk, i'm just rambling at this point - my overall message is that i'm in agreement that the finale was a letdown, but i'm curious as to how you thought the promising themes interacted with the story/performances in the earlier parts of the season, cause when i look back at it i don't see a unified vision, just some individually interesting pieces that never seemed to fit together, and i don't think i just feel that way in hindsight, but am open to other perspectives (disclaimer that obv this is all opinion and subject to debate)

ok my thing is that 1) i love porter as a villain and i don't think the twist takes away from his character; i think brennan tied him to ankarna REALLY well and with genuine thought. the lore drop scene in the temple was genuinely chilling and very very cool to me and brennan clearly set up a lot of lore around it that was interesting and not just funny bc fig thought he was bad the whole time. i think porter is a great character and had the bad kids engaged with his philosophy of rage and not had ice feast completely nullify his threat he could've been a really compelling villain. 2) i genuinely had hope for the rat grinders because of brennan's insistence to make npcs like eugenia talk about them as foils, the fact that they used to be the high-five heroes, and the fact that he made them closer to unwilling participants than actual villains. seemed like genuine threads of complexity that the bad kids just didn't pick up on, but i also clearly was fooled bc that brennan didn't react to fig's attempts to convert ruben shows that he wasn't really prepared to have the final battle as anything but tbk vs trg 😭 i think the downtime system was actually really fun and effective at portraying both scholastic tedium while also embellishing the themes (rage tokens!!) 3) this probably wasn't made clear in the ep but i didn't expect d20 to write a perfect thematic story about addressing systemic injustices; i just wanted them to give me any kind of thematic acknowledgment in the battle at all and not just with ankarna. i am very aware that im always reading into the subtext of d20 seasons--that lament is more for the subtext that Could've Been. i agree with you about everything you've said wrt ttrpg settings and lack of narrative investment, but i had higher hopes because fhsy and tuc are so much better with their themes and the themes brennan appeared to be setting up seemed so… obvious to me…. it had me ignoring all the red flags 😭

This day of the year came again, something that Bae both looked forward to and dreaded at the same time.

Why?

Because his band members were notorious for teasing him more than usual, forcing the poor makeup artists to hurry and try to cover up his heated up skin, before the situation got so bad it would become straight up impossible. The poor staff members were all familiar with it, learning to enjoy it more than anything, if their amused smiles and laughter were anything to go by. And through it all, Bae couldn’t do anything, his only choice was to silently accept it and try to shoot their Halloween special video for their beloved fans, hoping that his cheeks only looked like they had too much blush applied to.

He tried in the past, but it didn’t work. All it got him was a firm place in SKZ meme compilations, something that wasn’t exactly his aim, to be quite honest.

“What do you think we’ll be dressed up as this year?” - Seungmin asked from beside him, breaking Bae out of his stupor. “Well, probably not something we already were in the past, so I’m curious too.” - Jeongin replied, sipping on some caffeinated drink he found in their break room. “I hope it’s vampires, that one was fun.” - Felix added in as he entered the room, plopping right next to their maknae and immediately clinging to him. “Oh my god, you’re right, we should be vampires again! The fans loved it, didn’t they, Bae hyung?” - Jisung excitedly said, wiggling his eyebrows at the mentioned male.

Bae, of course, silently shook his head in denial, even though his mind instantly relayed to him the clips of all the videos STAY made, some cool, some… on the more questionable side. His skin already started darkening, something his very ‘kind’ friends pointed out to him gleefully.

“I agree with Jisung, the stylists did a really great job.” - it was Minho this time, a devious grin already forming on his lips. “Of course you do, you couldn’t keep your hands away from him in those black leather pants.” - that expression of Chan’s was frighteningly starting to look like the one Minho had, making Bae do a double-take. “Please, as if you were any different.” - Hyunjin said as he rolled his eyes, his lanky form draped over Felix as he was watching the boy’s phone. “Says the pot to the kettle.” “Yah!”

In the blink of an eye a playfight broke out between the three, everyone else watching it, even though they were just as guilty as the participants. It was a miracle in itself that Changbin hadn’t joined in, opting to instead continue snacking in their limited breaktime. Jisung somehow managed to avoid it all, quietly standing back and enjoying the show while sipping on his own chosen beverage. Based on his dangerously rising energy levels, it had to have been coffee, adding to Bae’s increasingly worsening stress levels.

“Can we have ONE occasion where you guys aren’t flirting, teasing and just straight up grabbing at each other?” - Bae muttered out into his own hands that rested on his face, only the ones sitting next to him hearing it.

While he didn’t get a vocal answer, something he didn’t really hope to get -he wasn’t that naive-, Felix just sympathetically patted his back in a fruitless chase of comfort.

Soon they were whisked away, their stylists moulding them to the image in their heads, turning them into the idols their fans knew and loved. Bae always loved it, obediently sitting in the chair and letting the professionals work away on him, covering up any imperfections and painting on his skin. His long hair always got the same treatment, sometimes even having two people work on it at the same time. This time the dark strands were hanging free, some taken to be braided and clipped to stay in place.

He felt like a work of art himself.

“WOOHOOO, WE’RE VAMPIRES, YESSS!”

A very miserable work of art.

He truly couldn’t help the deep sigh that resonated from his chest, the notion not at all new to him. His red eyes followed the excited form of the others joyfully darting around the room they were soon to be filming in, somehow even Chan joining them, instead of trying to wrestle the others into his hold to calm them down. Bae dreaded fully stepping into the room, knowing fully well what was about to happen once he did so.

The stylists thankfully crafted a less daring outfit for him this time, granting him that classy, old time vampire look with a hint of that usual kpop industry shine. His skin was fully covered up, nothing to bashfully try and hide, yet his neck was delightfully peeking out, two little painted on red dots revealed in the right angle.

Of course, this didn’t stop the others from flustering him the moment they noticed him, latching onto his rigid form every chance they could get. No matter how hard Bae was trying to act unaffected, to dodge them and their hands, his mask was starting to crack. It didn’t help that Minho was using the short moments when Bae was distracted to do what he was the best at: hunting butts. Even his little discipline, Seungmin, joined in, causing Bae to have a smaller brain aneurysm.

He didn’t think it could ever get worse, until he felt a presence behind his back, sharp pain in his neck following it close behind. A strangled little shout left his lips, sounding more surprised than anything.

Bae didn’t know what to think, as he stood there, silent, just like the perpetrator, all the while the others were laughing so hard, he was becoming slightly concerned for their well-being. But soon his brain rebooted, his eyes darting to the side, discovering dark strands of hair and round cheeks. 

A dangerous idea popped into his head, the taste of revenge too sweet to think of the consequences. Thus, he turned around, caging the mischievous little quokka in his hold and he bit, his two fake, elongated teeth sinking deeper than the others into his prey’s flesh.

A small sound took Bae’s attention away, his head urgently tearing away from Jisung’s neck and looking at him with wide eyes.

“Did you just fucking moan?!” - his voice was raised, something that didn’t happen a lot. “Hey man, I don’t kinkshame you.” - it was all the reply he got before his face shifted, his arms holding the man in his hold the furthest away from him he could.

Laughter bounced around the room, accompanied by thuds as some people fell down from the force of it. Some members were trying to form sentences, but failed as no word that left their mouths made sense. Even the staff members joined in, some desperately trying to hide their laughter, some entirely giving up on the impossible task.

“Holy s-shit, I, I have never seen, I-, Bae hyung look so disgusted, and, and h-he lives with Gymracha!” - it was Felix’s deep voice that succeeded first, riddled with laughter and wheezing, his lungs desperately trying to gather in air.

Seungmin and Jeongin were quick to agree, doubling over again, joined by the resident cat and weasel. All the while the mentioned members looked at the young aussie offended, but the memory of what just happened replayed in their minds once again and took their attention away, blessing them with another bout of laughter.

“I am giving you up for adoption, Jisung.” “Wh- wait, wait, Hyung, I’m sorry, please come back!”

As Jisung went out to chase after Bae, the others scraped themselves together, watching them with joy still swimming in their eyes.

“Now I wish I did it sooner.” “Me too Seungmin, me too.” - it was Felix who replied, but it was clear they were all thinking it.

“I guess I’m giving you all up for adoption then, bye.” “Wait, naur, Bae come back–”

🥺 thank you all so much, i love every single one of you lovely, talented people and i'm honored that you thought of me. i feel so fortunate to have met all of you! 1. kinktober 2024 i haven't finished this one yet because i overestimated myself and burned out in a glorious blaze of exhaustion but it WILL get finished! i actively have at least another 5 prompts in some sort of progress in my drafts right now, and hopefully i'll be able to get to them all relatively soon~ i'm honestly pretty proud of all the prompts i've posted so far, but i think my current favorite is day 10; i wrote 6k words in a single day, which was both stressful and rewarding, but i'm still really happy with the end result! 2. denouement anyone who knows anything about my writing knows by now that i have a weak spot for emotional smut, and this is probably the most successful attempt i've had at that. this one started as a quick little headcanon/drabble i wrote that inspired me to make an entire fic out of, and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside while i was thinking about it. i don't typically do any sort of fluff, so this is the closest i've ever gotten to it, i think. 😅 3. between the lines of fear and blame okay i know i've talked about this one out a lot before but in my defense i'm still super proud of this one a year after writing it, which is very impressive for me! i am absolutely feral for bloodweave and wish i had any more ideas for these two, but alas. the idea for this one struck me in the middle of a flight and i spent the rest of that flight planning everything out and got to work on it as soon as i checked into my hotel. i put it all together in just a couple days, which is also impressive for me, and i still think of it very fondly. 4. what am i supposed to do (but sink my teeth in you)? the first oneshot i put out with astarion and my tav, ysera. like the specific prompt of my first pick on this list, it's another sex-pollen fic (i am so weak for this trope and you can pry it out of my cold, dead hands). i was really trying to work on certain aspects of ysera's character and her dynamic with astarion, and i'm still so happy with how it turned out. i think i was successful in what i was trying to do! 5. resonance what can i say about this one? this is my first ever fic (which also makes it my first time writing smut) - the one that started it all and my first attempt to participate in fandom... basically ever, really. i was so scared about posting this but seeing where it led me, i'm so glad i did. as far as the writing goes, i honestly don't think this one is all that good, but it's nice to look back and see what i feel is a noticeable improvement in the last year or so of writing. so that's cool! fun fact about this one - it's supposed to take place in the middle of act 2, and i wrote it while i was still partway through my first playthrough. to make a very long (and embarrassing) story short, i accidentally messed up act 2 so badly that i never made it to last light when i was supposed to and found it basically after i had done everything but fight ketheric, and i was like, "well that's weird, i wonder why this abandoned/destroyed inn is here, guess i'll use it as the setting for my silly little fic." so if any of you read it and think, "now hold on just a second here..." yeah... yeah. lmao.
