These Black Bean Nacho Burgers are a tasty vegetarian option that is full of flavor and texture. Spices, cilantro, and cheddar cheese are used to season the black bean patties. For a tasty twist, traditional nacho toppings are then added on top.
Ingredients: 1 can 15 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed. 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips. 1/4 cup diced onion. 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 4 hamburger buns. Toppings: sliced avocado, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomato.
Instructions: Fork or potato masher the black beans in a large bowl until they are mostly smooth but still have some chunks. Add the crushed tortilla chips, diced red bell pepper and onion, chopped cilantro, ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together well. Add the shreds of cheddar cheese. Make 4 equal portions of the mixture and shape each one into a patty. Put the pan on medium heat and lightly coat it with oil or cooking spray. The black bean patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and warm all the way through. If you want, you can lightly toast the hamburger buns. Place a black bean patty on each bun and then add any toppings you want, like salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and sliced avocado. Serve right away and enjoy!

Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil, for cooking.
Instructions: In a large bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, grated beets, mashed chickpeas, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine. Form the mixture into burger patties, using your hands to shape them. Make sure they hold together firmly. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the burger patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Serve the Quinoa, Beet and Chickpea Burgers on buns with your favorite burger toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments. Enjoy your delicious homemade veggie burgers!

Ingredients: 1 cup grated sweet potato. 1 cup grated zucchini. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion. 1/2 cup chopped kale. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. 1 egg. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp smoked paprika. 4 whole wheat burger buns. 1 cup apple cider. 1/2 cup Greek yogurt. 2 tbsp mayonnaise. 2 tbsp honey. 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce leaves for garnish.
Instructions: In a large bowl, combine grated sweet potato, zucchini, onion, kale, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped walnuts, egg, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix well. Form the mixture into four burger patties. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the apple cider slaw. Recipe below: ⁣Ingredients:⁣ 1 small head cauliflower, wash & cut into florets⁣ 1 small green bell pepper, cubed⁣ 1/2 small red onion, cubed & 2 cloves garlic - sliced⁣ 1/4 cup dry roasted cashews⁣ 4 dried Thai chilis/red chilis⁣ oil for frying and cooking⁣ ⁣ Batter ingredients: Mix 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, a few shakes of white pepper in a bowl with 1 cup of cold water until well combined. The batter should be on the thicker side. Dip cauliflower florets in batter, shake off excess & fry until golden brown. (I used a small saucepan) Drain excess oil on a paper towel. (Bake version: grease a baking sheet pan with oil, place battered cauliflower florets on the pan. Bake at 485F until light golden brown for about 20-25 mins, be sure to flip halfway & brush a florets with oil, if needed. For the last few minutes, you may broil to get a crispier texture) ⁣Sauce ingredients: Mix together 1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon sugar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce & 1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine/sherry in a bowl & set aside.⁣ ⁣ In a heated nonstick pan with 1 teaspoon oil, sauté onion, garlic, bell pepper, dried chilis until fragrant. Chickpea Burgers by @wearesovegan A nice, thick, messy burgers is always fun. **Follow @vegansfoodrecipes for daily, simple, delicious vegan recipes** Recipe: 2 cups frozen peas (defrosted) 2 tbsp mint sauce 2 x 400g tins of chickpeas (drained and rinsed) 1 onion 2 cups breadcrumbs 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 1 garlic clove salt and pepper oil for frying For serving: vegan garlic sauce tomato chutney rocket red onion tomato 5 burger buns Steps: 1. Soak the frozen peas in hot water for 10 minutes. 2. Add the peas, mint sauce, chickpeas, onion, sunflower seeds, garlic, salt and pepper to a food processor and pulse the mixture until it reaches a rough consistency. Avoid processing the mixture too much because it will be harder to shape into patties. 3. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl. Add the breadcrumbs and mix together until everything is fully combined, then shape the mixture into 5 evenly shaped patties. If the patties aren’t quite holding their shape, simply add more breadcrumbs until they reach a firm enough texture. 4. Add a little oil to a frying pan. As soon as the oil is hot, add 2-3 patties to the pan at a time and fry for 5 minutes on each side, or until they become golden brown. 5.
