WHAT IF I STARTED CRYING. WHAT THEN. LOOK AT THEM THEY'RE SO PERFECT. UGHHH, the dress Vastra is wearing is so perfect, and the lil stars sprinkled all over! The matching necklace and earrings for them! Their scrunkly blushing faces! They're so close, HUAHHHHH! HAVE I MENTIONED JENNY'S HAIR!!! Gosh it's so fucking gorgeous, Roz! It's so bouncy and looks so soft <3 Vastra's scales!!!! Holy fuck, the level of detail in themmmmm! Also the blue of Jenny's waistcoat and the red of Vastra's dress!? Mwah <3 Also. Mistletoe. Mistletoe kiss. I am such a sucker for it, yes it's cliché, no I don't care. it's GORGEOUSSSS! I love everything about this and I am sobbing I love it T_T Thank you so much, Roz! so the episode Deep Breath is actually the best post-regeneration story of New Who because it does something with Clara's view of her friend and the change from young appearance to old appearance, it uses Madame Vastra in an interesting way, exploring her feelings of being ostracized in society, mirroring the relationship of Vastra/Jenny with the Doctor/Clara, and the concept of the old living droid who gives himself new bodyparts has cool commonalities to the Doctor's story as well

Hrm, so I commissioned art from @rosenkranz-does-things again, this time about this very uh, gay fic. AND I AM GOING INSANE OVER HOW GODDAMN BRILLIANT THIS ART IS!!

Aaaaah! After writing a fic quite recently in which Jenny kills someone to save Vastra, I felt inclined to commission Roz because just LOOK AT THEIR ART! Gosh the sheer SKILL in this! I love how vibrantly, agreesively red the blood is! It contrasts so well against the background, Jenny's clothes, and Vastra's face. Gosh, the way Vastra is so still and calm in her worship of Jenny and the intimate kiss!?? AHHHH this is just perfectly captured, and then Jenny's despair, her clinging to Vastra for dear life with her hand and gosh her facial expression!! Can we talk about her face! Because she looks SO hot with blood on it! Roz you mad genius! (Hey also, two of those splatters look a little bit like kiss marks on first glance, and it's driving me insane! (positive. VERY positive.) I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but omgggg) They're just everything to meee, and Roz you deliver every single time, you never miss! Just. AHHH! People, go commission Roz for beautiful art!
