I always come across this poem at the wrong time of the month.

You'll have to excuse me, I'm going to have to go and tell my cat that i love him. And i wish he knew that we'll be back when we go out, and that every thing we do to him is to keep him healthy and happy.

Except for squish his fluffy face. That makes me happy.

I wish we knew why he meows so much, he vocalises more than any cat we know and sometimes it's hard to know what he wants.

And I wish he knew that his previous person never left him, she loved him until the day she died. I wonder if he dreams of her, I hope he does.

does anybody have that cat poem, you know the one. not mary oliver's poem. the one about a cat growing up with you like brothers but him still being small whereas you've grown tall. i need a good cry
