The idea of blending something timeless with the grandeur of a cathedral fascinated me, so I combined these elements along so with my designer to create a look that felt both eternal and architectural.”

Bought these absolutely stunning prints from 8pxl and immediately knew they needed to stay together. Fashioning a frame out of a box might be a little low tech for most people when it comes to gifts, but I love the look it creates here, especially once it was covered in wrapping paper!

I am in love with the pearlescent yet still pixelated sheen on everything ✨

There's no outfit that can't be improved with a tiny plushie - here's a co-ord with my birthday dress from 2024 and a tiny friend 😺

Poppy Field dress from H&M tablecloth, stays from mustard twill, both using self draft patterns. Styled with all thrifted items - a cozy aran cardigan, brown leather bag, loafers, chatelaine necklace and a tiny little cat plushie.

The quilted progress pride pillowcase is finished! Finally used all those fancy decorative stitches my sewing machine has. They are indeed very decorative. First time actually finishing a quilt and being happy with it. Yes, it's a little bubbly and wonky, but I don't care. Because it's a pillowcase, nobody would notice if it were all perfectly neat. The filling is a cobbled together bunch of floof from all the pillows my dog has torn up in the past. Don't worry, she won't get this one.

Based on my own pattern, which is in turn based on the progress pride flag design by Valentino Vecchietti.

“I’m wearing a blazer that my friends made me and hand embroidered with my name for my birthday! The shirt is embroidered with Betty Boops and was also a vintage birthday gift from my partner a few years ago. and the Uggs of course, back very much into Uggs with every outfit. I also love a button/pin flair so I added a bunch to liven up the look - it felt too serious haha! Currently my style is really inspired by the vibrant colorful tacky carelessness of the 2010s. Recently have just been trying to take myself a little less seriously and have more fun and clowns always of course … I’m in a major period of self-rediscovery of style and taste now that I’m in my mid 20s.”

It's been a couple years since I completed a custom on the Hartland Lady Jade mold--in fact, the last one was my first completed custom of 2022, and this is my first completed custom of 2024! I've made her over into this gorgeous dapple bay with golden undertones, and the pictures don't do justice to how rich her coloration came out!
