So um I was in my room probably as an adult, it was really late at night and there were some women in my room sleeping

Anyway I don't remember why but there were lots of fireworks and I wanted to see them but it sounded like they were over and I wanted to check so I got up cause I couldn't sleep anyway

I put on some light (and the women weren't happy about it they told me to just stay inside and that it's not a good idea) and looked out the window

I saw a person and I thought it was another woman looking at the fireworks (they were facing the wall so I couldn't see their face)

I went outside and they suddenly faced me and oh my god their face was the most terrifiying thing I've seen in ages

I can't even describe it was really just so fvcking scary but not like deformed or anything just a relatively human face but idk what made it so scary

Anyway I asked them what they were doing and if they were okay and they were just like "have you always been this pretty" with the creepiest smile ever taking a step towards me

I got really scared so I rushed back into my room closed the door as fast as I could and then closed those things so you can't see anything outside, I struggled with the one at the door because I was shaking so much but I managed

Then I turned on the big light (I only had a relatively dark one on to not disturb the women as much) and panicked a LOT but the women didn't notice ig

I don't remember what happend then I think I woke up and just had like 180bpm or smth

But like I needed to go the bathroom and I was so scared of that face showing up seriously

I’m pretty sure Starbucks is also in Canada, the UK, and Ireland but idk where else so… popular coffee shop! It’s been almost a year since I moved into the city and began to have food/drink from Starbucks way too often lmao

I’m also like 99% sure someone else has done this before but I want to do it!!

This does kinda use my headcanon that they’d all be lactose intolerant too lmao BUT I REALIZED demons and angels probably don’t have the human instinct to reject bitter food/drink! It kinda makes me giggle omg. I also tried to reference their intro cards that say whether they like sweet or spicy for accuracy, and honestly stayed away from hot drinks for the fallen angels and angels since they’re naturally more warm in canon??

hi I made another pea au bcus I’m weak 💀 won’t become a whole thing like the last one i just wanted to do smth that included some stuff I don’t get to do in blau :3

basically it’s in modern human society but some ppl are clowns which are sort of like. Monsters/superhero’s who do magical girl transformations into their clown sonas ig lol. Normal ppl don’t know clowns exist, so there’s an a organization that covers up their tracks and takes care of all magic related issues (Harley is a part of this, he’s not someone who does the magic hiding he’s just a therapist so clowns have someone to talk to abt magic issues since they can’t tell normal therapists abt that.)

All of the brothers were separated for a good portion of their lives, but now they all live together in Harley’s house with his kids. anyways I’ll write sum background info on each of the siblings under the cut cus them :)

Shirley was adopted by daniel and janes family, they thought he was going to become a typical magical girl clown superhero like most clowns do, but she decided to become a drag queen. The parents and daniel are all part of the magic protection agency, which is made for hiding clowns from normal people, and frankly they were pretty glad Shirley decided to not do a career that used his powers cus her magic is obnoxious as hell and hard to cover up, I mean it’s literally drawing attention to themself and having a giant void inside his face. As for the family powers, Dad can erase peoples memories, Mom can sense auras, Jane can fly, and shirley’s power is drawing attention to themself, she can also make people physically freeze in terror by making them look at the orb of darkness in his head, but mostly they just uses it as a pocket dimension bcus she doesn’t like being scary.

Charlie lived with his last foster parents Ben and Belle, along with their biological children Thomas and Charlotte. Ben has big aes claws, Belle can extend her limbs, Thomas can talk to animals and walk through walls, and Charlie can make force fields. Ben, Belle, Charlotte, and Thomas don’t know Charlie is a clown and vice versa.

Emerson and Grayson lived in a home for disowned clown kids (and still do sometimes), they couldn’t stay with their big bro Charlie in the foster system since their powers are obnoxious as hell and they have no control over them. Grayson has fire powers, Emerson has ice powers. Their superhero home is run by the carolina parents and subsequently they lived with their kids (carolina and rory both have fire powers, Budget creates explosions, and fleur moves the earth) and a bunch of other clown child ren.

Harley had to go into the clown equivalent of witness protection after he had his identity revealed while a vigilante and half the villains in the city immediately went to kill him lol. He had to leave his family and change his name and basically disappear off the face of the earth, but now he’s back to see his siblings :) He takes in his siblings so they can live together again, but charlie still has contact with his last parents, shirley is already an adult with new parents but decided to live with his fam anyways, and frequently the twins have to drag harley to hang with them at the clown kid home instead of the other way around because they can’t control their powers yet and don’t want to constantly be destroying harleys house lol. Oh yeah and harley has temperature control like the twins, but he can also make plasma rays and make fire that doesn’t cause any damage and stuff, hes way more in control and experienced than they are.

Um plot things, Charlie is exploring career options (vigilant? Clown organization? Makeup artist? he do not know) but is more concerned with his highschool crush than that and keeps getting distracted, Shirley is struggling with self esteem and trying to readjust to life with his siblings again, the twins are just trying to handle their fucking powers and apprenticing under ben and belle, Harley is trying to be a good dad to his kids and brothers, Daniel is having to put up with the fact that Jane is a. being annoying with her powers and b. dating a boy who he knows is a city villain but who he legally cant say is a city villain cus he only knows abt that through the family business. Yeah just fun family things and also there’s magic basically :)

okay so for the jewellery, im not sure the specifics exactly, but i think detail work like creating intricate jewellery/statues/glasswork and so on are a very large part of mezelea's export and industry. its because of this (or maybe the other way around?) that its so central to the culture. and because of how common gold is in the mesa ofc. im not 100% sure if that answered your question lol but basically that kind of artistry and craftsmanship is very central to mezelea's culture, and skilled artists are held in very high regard there. as for the jewellery itself, in my mind its similar to indian kundan jewellery, but with more floral patterns to represent the azeleas.

the wings thing though! okay so first i do apologise, a lot of this i came up with a few months ago and i know i had all the kinks ironed out then but i can't find where i wrote it down 😭 so im working from memory here lol.

alright so im kind of in two minds, either its mostly just a tradition thats been upheld for centuries since like one guy was blessed with owl wings one time by aeor and so did all his future kids and the rest of the server just took thag and ran, since theres no native avian species on the server so anyone that moved there and had kids was like deemed god or smth.

the other version which i do kinda prefer id where they actually are blessed by the server pantheon just like i mentioned the mezelea line being blessed. another part of this version is that they're basically granted immortality. in this version its a hardcore server and the rulers alone are granted 'immortality' (survival mode). they still age but they respawn if they die of anything but a natural death (basically just old age, and sometimes sickness)

anyways onto your actual question regarding wings! so i came up with this headcanon at the height of my wra hyperfixation so its mostly centred/most developed around them. lol. so sausage, and his whole father's side of the family, has bat wings, big and leathery u kno the drill.

gem and fwhip are twins in this au, but neither of them were born with wings. their parents claimed it was because their children were claimed by the fae and they were half right. fwhip was lmao. gem though, despite being born without wings, was born with a natural affinity for magic, this manifested early in her life as attracting reactive rocks/crystals to her back to form as wings. not 100% sure that makes sense but basically she manifested wings kinda naturally when she was like six and therefore made heir yippee!

fwhip though did not have wings, but he was an inventor so he spent much of his childhood and teen years developing a pair of functional mechanical wings, and by the time gem had gone off to learn magic in the crystal cliffs wgen they were sixteen his wings were complete and were deemed good enough, since they were getting pretty desperate for a heir atp lawl. obviously not everyone loves him but that can be another post

the cod and ocean empires are also obviously a bit different, they picked their rulers because of some spiritual sense that they were secretly ancient gods of the ocean so the wing thing doesn't really apply, though i do have a listener jimmy hc i think ive posted about before that gave him canary wings that kinda disappeared with the rest of his human form when he went fish mode so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i was also playing around with flying fish fins for lizzie but that never really went anywhere, it still works tho ig

Because if she's half-dragon-fairy and half-god, then she quite literally doesn't have a drop of human blood in her. Greek myths say golden ichor flows through the gods' veins, but all their half-god, mortal children have human blood like their human parents. This would imply that, if Mal has blood, she has the same kind of blood as Maleficent.

okay so in order for any of this to make sense we are operating under a few assumptions:— that hades isn't mal's dad because i think it's dumb and it does not spark joy. if you want god-fae blood analysis go somewhere else. — that mal's non-maleficent parent is human.— that maleficent, like fairy godmother, flora, blue fairy, etc, is a fae / fairy / faerie / however you want to spell it. a lot of ppl ( myself included ) write mal w/ traditional fae-traits, such as resistance to iron, empathy, pointed ears / horns, a true name, all that fun stuff. and blood has a FUCK ton of iron, so fae have copper based blood ( which i must say i LOVE bc it gives jane blue blood which is v important to me as a human person ) but mal is only half fae, so the question remains — does mal have blood??? if mal were to have straight up human-esque iron blood, it'd probably give mal some kind of autoimmune disorder like autoimmune hemolytic anemia. except, like, the fae version of that. but we also have to consider that maleficent, being fully fae, would have blue blood, and that carrying a half-human fetus in her body would probably a) give maleficent blood poisoning or b) cause her cells to attack the fetus or c) some combo of the two. so in order to have a viable half-human half-fae the kid either has to be carried by the human parent or outside of the fae in some way. also we're making a bold assumption that maleficent is fully fae and not half-fae half-dragon. so wtf do we do abt the fact that maleficent seems to just. be a dragon. are dragons a subspecies of fae, or vice versa? let's say for the sake of argument that dragons are cold-blooded reptilian-esque creatures.  but mal and maleficent don't seem to be experiencing any of the issues that a cold-blooded animal might have. so let's say that maleficent is fully fae, and not a dragon, simply something SIMILAR to a dragon that isn't cold-blooded — to be specific, maleficent is a dragon mimic. so let's say maleficent is warm-blooded. the 2016 film definitely paints her closer to birds than it does to dragons. let's say that faeries have bird blood ( their blood cells have nuclei and bone marrow doesn't have to create new blood cells ) that have hemocyanins ( binding the oxygen to copper cells rather than iron cells ). this enables fast healing and gives them lighter bones which is needed for flight. and from there it makes sense that a subspecies of fae developed that is a mimic of dragons ( which is what maleficent is ), as birds and reptiles are fairly closely related as far as relations in the animal kingdoms go. baby birds, too, require a lot of parental care after hatching, similar to human infants after birth. there are plenty of species of birds that generally only have one egg at a time, so let's say that's the norm for fae, too. we can also assume that the egg, once out of the mother fae, would have a fairly long incubation time after birth because “typically the larger the bird, the longer the incubation period.” i imagine that fae eggs are highly prized, and often kept and turned into shields / helmets / etc for when the fae is older, given the ratio of hardness of the egg shells of birds. this also means that baby fae have an egg tooth, but i digress.so if maleficent is a fae who has all the BIOLOGY of a fae rather than the biology of a dragon ( which is a whole other spicy fantasy anatomy discussion ), while we don't have to worry about her cells attacking a human fetus as fae lay eggs, fertilizing would be. um. complicated given that it's likely that fae and humans would have completely different sets of chromosomes. but let's say for the sake of argument it gets done somehow. and maleficent lays an egg that gestates for a little over five years ( that's mal! ). what kind of blood she has would probably depend on what exactly the dominant gene is. i personally think that since humans seem to be the more common species in this universe that the human genes are dominant and the fae ones recessive, which gives mal a human-based blood that have nucleated red blood cells. however, her heart probably beats faster than other humans, and her body would be unable to process iron, so mal has a lower threshold than the rest of us as to how much iron is too much iron. so she wouldn't like iron-rich foods much — they'd upset her stomach. and her body, being unable to process iron, ends up with a fuck ton of green waste product called biliverdin which bonds with the iron ( it normally doesn’t do this but let’s say it does here just because ). in humans, excess biliverdin can be fatal ( there's a species of lizard where it's not fatal to them ??? and scientists can't figure out why ??? which is just a fun fact ) BUT since mal has a larger liver due to her fae mother ( as birds have a larger liver than humans, like. proportionally to the rest of their organs ) i think she'd be fine. like, her blood would be green because of the excess biliverdin, and that'd be real fucking weird, but like, aside from being Generally Intolerant to iron, and having weird green blood, she'd function relatively normally i think. she’d probably also be infertile like a lot of hybrids ( mules for one ) which could suck for her later on ig? but that’s not smth i imagine she’d be super heartbroken over.tldr; mal has green blood and i have taken some liberties with science because i am not a bio major and half of these articles were incomprehensible to me, your long-suffering philosophy major who hasn’t taken a biology class since high school

Um so I have this story idea but I dunno if its any good anymore. I thought of it in middle school like I was in seventh grade so I've been working on it for a while. It was like 2016 so bnha wasn't a thing I knew about. Its just I'm having doubts.

The whole premise was that when the zombie apocalypse started a bunch of people with partial immunity gain powers. And usually to gain the powers you would enter a coma like state. Some people didn't have a chance too. The powers really didn't have a relation to who you are or anything its semi genetic. Like the immunity and powers are both the same recessive gene and it expresses itself differently each time. But the powers have limits.

There's also two names I gave the zombies: lost ones, thought of by those who see them as monsters and no longer human and virals', a hopeful name meaning that it can be fought and cured. There are those who use zombie too but like its ya know boring in some ways.

I just wanna know with the info I will share would you guys online read this? Would you pay money for a copy? Or go to the library for one? I dunno if this story will live up to what you hope it will be but if you want to read it ig reblog and stuff. Speak your mind.
