udella can’t say she saw this coming but to be fair, she didn’t really plan that far ahead when it came to betraying her original court. the king and queen were awful, the leadership just as corrupt, and once she knew how much they’d been lied to, it had been… maybe not easy, but it had felt right and she’d known what she had to do. she hadn’t considered the consequences for herself, not until it was much too late. so she certainly didn’t seen an arranged marriage coming, but she really didn’t know what her new court would want to do with her, or if they would just kill her too and be done with the whole affair. this is, by far, the better option. but it’s also kind of a lot. he’s the crown prince and the future king and she has no idea how to… well, she doesn’t even know what’s expected from her. she’s an excellent battle strategist, but it’s a skill she hopes will never be needed here. beyond that? she has no idea if there’s anything she can bring to the table, other than a symbol of peace between their courts, but living out her days as a trophy wife sounds like its own kind of torture. she supposes the first step is to learn, and she has so much to learn. “i’m afraid i know painfully little about your court. what can you tell me?”

Sophie Turner as Rosanna Angelina Faragere, she was 13-21 years old (which took place in 2013-2021 Is This Love which is my book on Wattpad) she has six best friends: Priscilla, Aurora, Kathleen, Chloe, Aria and Chanel. She also lived in her apartment in East Harlem and used to work at Skip’s diner as a waitress along with Chanel, but quit a year later due to her not handling any more abuse from Skip not to mention witnessed him hitting her best friend Chanel and gave her nothing but a scar on her back. Later on, Rosanna and Chanel were working at Byron’s nightclub as bar women from Friday till Sunday, she was also working as Declan’s accountant at his firm, full time. She’s enemies with Stacy, Ivory, Tammy (Byron’s ex fiancée), The Sloyan Brothers, Danny (Priscilla’s ex boyfriend who cheated on her with Stacy), Matt (Chloe’s ex boyfriend who abused her and cheated on her with Ivory), Gabe Tully (Aria’s former boss who gave Chanel a permanent scar on her right eyebrow), Gladys Loggins (Jace’s ex wife), Wings, Quinn Quivers (Chanel and Stephanie’s landlady), Udella (Declan’s ex fiancee), Skip Hansley (her former evil and dead boss who gave Chanel a permanent scar on her back) and etc. Rosanna’s currently dating Flynn Devery O’Dwyer who was the older half brother of Declan and the single father of Burton (who Rosanna wasn’t aware of), the owner of his boxing nightclub, an Irish gang leader and an assassin, he was also known as “The Assassin” and he was the member of the Crimson Blinders and The O’Dwyer Crime Syndicate. And like Aria and Chanel, Rosanna’s pregnant with Flynn’s child (despite it was Flynn’s second child while it was Rosanna’s first child)

I have completed a full year in my Megahood! (Pleasantview and Strangetown + universities)

This is part 2 of my Megahood update! Part 1 covered Pleasantview. (Apologizes for bad screenshot quality)

I will be going in order of the screenshots, but this is not the order I play in!

Smith: Johnny is very high in the Music career, and he has the LTW of becoming a Rock God. He moved in with Ophelia after he aged up to an adult. Ophelia is doing okay in the Law Enforcement career, and has the LTW of becoming Captain Hero. Neither of them went to university, and got married very quickly. The couple ended up having twins, Quincy and Rosalie. Rosalie is a lot like both of her parents while Quincy is more like his uncle Pascal.

Loste/Curious: On their first date, Kristen got pregnant from Lazlo. Lazlo just moved in, and the couple are unmarried but they’re engaged. Kristen is one level away from mastering the Athletic career and completing her LTW of becoming a Hall of Famer. While Lazlo is still a few levels away from reaching the top of the Science career, his LTW is to become a Mad Scientist. Their twins, Valerie and Weston are still babies, but are very close to aging up to toddlers.

Curious/Beaker: Erin still lives with Chole and her wife Nikki. With no sign of having the family she wanted, Erin is high in the Culinary career and close to completing her LTW of being a Celebrity Chef. Chole is a serial romancer, but she fell in love with Nikki and got married after their 3rd date. Chole is only half way through the Slacker career with the LTW of being a Professional Party Guest. While her wife, Nikki, is also in the Slacker career and has the same LTW. Sadly Nikki can only do part-time Slacker so she’ll never complete her LTW.

Curious: Pascal convinced Nervous to move in so he could escape the Beakers. Pascal had his alien baby, Celeste, and the couple adopted Barbara as a toddler soon after. Pascal is at the top of the Science career and completed his LTW of becoming a Mad Scientist. Nervous is unemployed, he never had a want for a career, and has the LTW of reaching Golden Anniversary. Celeste is the unborn Curious baby, she’s now a teenager and is dating Easton Burb. She’s a lot like her dad and her uncles, except she wants to go into the Natural Scientist career when she’s an adult. Barbara just aged up to a teenager, she has dreams of becoming a Game Designer.

Smith: Pollination recently passed away, leaving his widow Jenny Smith to raise their son, Jayden. Jenny isn’t doing well in the Medical career, but she completed her LTW of reaching Golden Anniversary. Jayden is the youngest out of the Smith children, looking a lot like his father. He’s the black sheep of the family.

Beaker: Loki wanted a large family, but Circe was only able to get pregnant twice. Loki maxed the Science career and completed his LTW of becoming a Mad Scientist. While on the other hand, Circe is still a few levels away from reaching the top of the Medical career, and hasn’t completed her LTW of becoming the Chief of Staff. Their oldest daughter, Fiona, is just like her mother, she even joined the part-time Medical career so she can follow her mother’s footsteps. While Iris is more focused on tormenting her peers at school.

Loner: Ajay and Lola are just living a classic white picket fence family life with their two daughters. Ajay mastered the Oceanography career and finished his LTW of being the Hand of Poseidon. Lola is very high up in the Law career, and is very close to completing her LTW of Becoming the Law. The eldest daughter, Kendra, is just a child. She loves playing in the pool and catching butterflies. While the youngest, Udella, is a toddler and is busy conquering the potty.

Grunt: Buzz is just a creepy old man, thirsting over university girls. He’s at the top of the Military career, but has yet to complete his LTW of Earning 100k. Tank is the eldest of the Grunt boys, he followed in his fathers footsteps by going into the Military career as well, his LTW is to Become General. He’s also dating the much younger Jill Smith. When Buck aged into an adult, his high school girlfriend, Ivy Copur moved in. Buck is just starting out in the Politics career, and has the LTW of Becoming Mayor. Buck quickly proposed to Ivy after finding out the couple is expecting their first baby very soon. Ivy is in the Law Enforcement career, yet her LTW is to become a Media Magnate.

Smith: Jill Smith lives alone in a 1 bedroom apartment, she’s hoping Tank will move in with her and help bring in some money. She’s in the Culinary career for now, but her LTW is to be the Hand of Poseidon.

Grunt: Ripp and his high school sweetheart, Tosha, went to university together where they got engaged. Their apartment is cramped, but full of love. Ripp is doing okay in the Gamer career, and has the LTW of becoming a Game Designer. Tosha is in the Dance career with the LTW of Having 6 Grandchildren. Scott is the oldest out of the two kids, much like his mother he loves nature. He plays in the apartment complex's playground with Hesper Curious. The newest addition of the family, Zoey, is just a little baby.

Curious: Vidcund got pregnant from an alien abduction, having his daughter Hesper. When Hesper was just a toddler, he met La Shawn and fell in love. The small family of 3 moved into an apartment together and quickly had their own baby together, Yvette. Vidcund is doing very well in the Science career, and like his brothers he has the LTW of becoming a Mad Scientist. La Shawn is low in the Culinary career, and has the LTW of becoming a Celebrity Chef. Hesper, the daughter of Vidcund and an alien, is a very smart child. She has no time for nonsense, but she enjoys playing with Scott Grunt. Yvette is the newest member of the family, she’s the only child of Vidcund and La Shawn.

The alarm sounds. It’s 7am, and soon, your father will be awake to make breakfast. You aren’t expected downstairs, but you go anyway because your family is the one part of your life that you don’t want to escape from. You forcibly pull yourself out of your own headspace, and start to close the hundred different tabs on your browser: the Facebook pages, the Pinterest boards, the burner accounts that you’ve made to follow and learn more about each individual life as an unknown, unseen presence on the internet. 

Eternally, occasionally gratefully, overshadowed by the stories of people far more interesting than you ever will be.

She was his wife. The thought was an odd one. He had a wife. Nima always knew this day would come. He would be a husband, some day a father. He would step into his own father’s place of rulership and have a queen at his side. Yet somehow, he never thought that queen would be turncoat rebel from the very nation that had been ravaging their lands for years. 

His father always had a reason for everything he did. This was a political statement of good will towards their neighbor's newly established government. She was enough of a public hero to win the people’s favor and for the marriage to function as final stamp to the peace treaty. She enough of a liability to make the new ruling officials nervous. Sending her over the border was a beneficial agreement for all parties involved.

With the ceremony through, they were alone in his rooms. The wide, tall windows overlooked the great woods, the rolling hills, and the far off Dwarvish mountains. The sun had just set and a soft twilight colored the world in the afterglow, fading to night as the stars just began to shine. 

He didn’t know what to say to her. He felt he ought to say something.

“Did you have a chance to eat?” he settled on, turning to her at last. “For all the fine food earlier there was hardly a moment to enjoy it.”

Hei, voinko udella kommenteissasi mainitseman suomalaisen runon perään? Yhteisön ulkopuolelle jääminen on itselle kans aika tuttu tunne ja tahdon kärsiä lol

Uuno Kailaan Pallokentällä! Kailaalla on useampiakin sellaisia runoja, jotka jostain syystä iskee, usein kun on jo valmiiksi melankolinen fiilis niin kaivan esiin ikivanhan äidiltä nyysityn runokokoelman ja luen sit Kailasta. (Olen kyllä aika nirso runonlukija, enkä siis mikään suuri ekspertti tällä alalla :’D) 

Pallokentällä on yksi niitä runoja, joille itken joka kerta, ihan sama kuinka monesti sen luen. 

Mut, tässäpä tämä:

Näin: pallokentän laitaan eräs rampa poikanen oli seisahtunut alle sen suuren lehmuksen.

Hän seisoi nurmikolla, nojas kainalosauvoihin; pelin tiimellystä katsoi hän silmin kuumeisin.

Yli aurinkoisen hiekan, johon lehmus varjon loi, moni riemukas huuto kiiri, moni kirkas nauru soi.

Pojat juoksivat notkein säärin yli pallokentän sen. Eräs seisoi hievahtamatta, eräs raajarikkoinen.

Vaan hänkään totisesti ei muistanut sauvojaan. Oli haltioitunut hehku hänen kalpeilla kasvoillaan.

Ilost’, innosta värähtelevän hänen sieraintensa näin joka kerta, kun maila pallon löi puiden latvoja päin.

Rajaviivan takaa milloin joku rohkeni juosta pois, oli niinkuin lehmuksen alta eräs myöskin juossut ois –

kuin jättänyt ramman ruumiin olis sielu poikasen ja syöksynyt kilpasille kera toisten, riemuiten.

Hän askelen astui – mutta kuin unesta havahtain näki itsensä... Oikea jalka oli kuihtunut tynkä vain.

Pojat juoksivat notkein säärin yli pallokentän sen, mut lehmuksen alla seisoi eräs raajarikkoinen,

joka, ruumis tärisevänä, iho harmaana kääntyi pois kuin ruskean nutun alla sydän pakahtunut ois.

Yhä riemukas huuto kiiri, yhä kirkas nauru soi yli aurinkoisen hiekan, – johon lehmus varjon loi.
