♡ Originally specialised in traditional savoury Paldean dishes but developed a love for baking after making Juliana macarons for their first Valentines Day together.

♡ After graduation, worked as a dish hand in a small bar in Porto Marinada. Worked his way up to line cook while occasionally doing pokémon walking and sitting on the side. Currently the manager of the new Mesagoza Patisserie Soapberry location. Spends his income on renovating the lighthouse where he lives with Juliana, Mabosstiff and Miraidon.

♡ Prized possessions include his fathers old lab coat and journals recovered from the Zero Lab. Gifted an oddly familar version of the presumably lost Violet Book by Juliana after her return from stuyding at Blueberry Academy which he keeps in his nightstand.

I just finished the Starfall Street arc and holy FUCK I did not expect it to hit so hard. I actually ended up completing that one last out of the three but I enjoyed it so much. I thought it would just be a silly side story about bringing down delinquent school gangs but NO there’s so much more…there’s So much more to it than that

The fact that they address bullying in the Pokemon universe…I don’t know if statistically bullying in Japan is worse than it is here in the US but I definitely know kids are Mean. And sometimes the education system turns a blind eye to that. And people get hurt because of it. And this story arc is such a prime example of how one frustrated kid who’s been bullied to the point of no return decided to take things into their own hands. You walk into this expecting all of the Team Star bosses to just not like school or are rebelling against the system but no the further you dig into what’s going on you find out ALL of them were victims of bullying. And they just wanted it to stop, and they wanted to protect other kids who were getting bullied too. So they all got together and decided on a plan to eradicate bullying at Uva/Naranja Academy themselves because none of the adults would listen. And despite the fact that the person who brought them all together left them behind in order to face the punishment of doing so on their own…they STILL waited for their big boss to return. For a YEAR AND A HALF. They held out for that long because what else could they do? Abandon the person that helped them so much? And it’s so fucking sad that these kids, these literal CHILDREN had to be punished like this for over a year, when they were only trying to stop the bullying and continue on with their school lives and be normal kids.

But it’s so good, it’s SO good that Clavell got involved. Bc it may have started out as a “Hello fellow kids” meme but it turns out he just wants to set the record straight and actually give these kids the recognition they deserve. And the APOLOGY they deserve, that they were treated this way by the education system. And you know he feels sick to his stomach about the sorts of things they went through, and he had no idea because by the time he took over the bullying had already come to an end, and only nasty rumors about Team Star were left. How do you make it up to those kids after all that?? He’s certainly trying and I appreciate that so much

Temperature's rising, summers approaching, and I am once again beginning my frantic search for a sunscreen that won't melt my skin faster than the sun. The search has been going... *crickets*

This year, however, I got recommended something called SPF clothes, which is apparently super light and thin clothes specifically meant to protect you from UVB/UVA. I realise I am behind literally everyone else when it comes to this, because even big brands are making them now, but in my defense I live in the bumfuck country where innovation is ten years behind everyone.

So as I start clicking through the options on Shein (don't judge me) I, seemingly out of nowhere, start getting reccomended clothes for Muslim women. I'm confused for a moment but then it clicks.

Light clothes specifically meant to cover your whole body from the sun without giving you heatstroke. That's basically the fashion of every culture that developed in desert areas. And... actually exactly what I need.

Bonus points: I literally live next to a mosque. There's gotta be a decent little shop that sells abayas somewhere around here!
