this might be a radical opinion, but as a disabled person in chronic pain i feel like i shouldn't have to justify my existence by how useful i am to society. especially when said society can't even fix the things that debilitate me in the first place

Nothing to do with acotar:
This might be a shout into the dark (equally respect people don’t like to share their identities on here) but is there anyone on here that happens to be within the creative industry in the uk? Manchester or London? Preferably in creative direction, campaigns, content strategy, content creation and social media. Fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
Reaching out to the fandom as my industry is so dire right now, and the market is incredibly saturated and your girl is losing the fucking will 😅

Every day I consider moving to the UK (ideally London). And no, all those crushes on Brits have nothing to do with it. None at all

Bit of a rant if you'll indulge me.
I am at a point where I have utterly zero idea what to do next. I am on sick leave because my mental bad physical health are seriously suffering after years of trying to "push through" my disability to keep working like a "normal person". My top up sick pay allowance will run out soon and statutory sick pay is barely anything, certainly not enough for rent and bills. I have no treatment or cure options for my conditions. Alternative jobs are scarce, certainly when I'm limited by a) not driving (expensive and time consuming to learn) and b) my disability rules out like 90% of locally available jobs. I'm toying with taking time out of work but benefits here are long-winded to apply for and generally stingy.
But if I keep working, I would be doing so in severe pain and exhaustion. Even working from home full time (which my employer says might not be "sustainable" in the long term, whatever that means), I have barely been able to keep up, needing to sleep on every available break, having no energy for enjoyment/socialising or even basic household tasks, and am relying on prescription-strength painkillers daily. Which don't even work much more than taking the edge off.
My symptoms have only been getting worse, particularly in the last few years. I have had fibromyalgia and ME/CFS for twelve and a half YEARS now. My entire working adult life, and then some. I am so tired of being in pain and exhausted, completely and utterly exhausted, every single goddamn day of my life.
But I don't even know if I can afford to take a break and actually look after myself without risking financial ruin, because of the fucking capitalist hellscape we live in.
My partner is scared about finances, and worried about me. I'm constantly on the edge of crying, screaming, or both. I just don't know what to do.
If anyone out there is in/has been in a similar situation and has advice, please please please let me know (especially if you're UK based)
I just want to be able to live, rather than just surviving.

conservation charities will be like "we're wild about inclusion!" but all their employees are white and to have a chance at getting a job you have to volunteer for years and have multiple degrees

Be me looking for a job:
- sees job that I can do that's a walkable distance in my town
- send cv and hear back next day
- I'm a perfect fit for the job and they want a interview tomorrow
- yay !!
- we email back a forth throughout the day. I send more information about myself, they send more information about the job. Everything's going great :)
- I put down phone for few hours. Go back to check and see another email from employer
- they say that everything seems great and they're excited for the interview tomorrow ... but there's one teeny weeny thing they forgot to mention
- the address they gave me for the job was a lie and the job is actually a 40 minute drive outside my town (:
- I do not own a car
This is the 3rd time this has happened to me
