buck: yep! it looks terrifying! but a fun fact i did find was did you know the earliest penguin fossil was found in 61.6 million year old antartic rock! about 4-5 million years after the mass extinction of the dinosaurs waimanu manneringi stood upright and waddled like modern day penguins, but was more likely in the water, some fossil penguins were much larger than any living penguin today, reaching 4.5 feet tall!

buck: they also release air bubbles from their feathers which cuts the drag on their bodies, allowing them to double, and triple their swimming speed and quickly launch into the air

Bagi, who was previously "invited" to a mysterious island/city by its elected official, subsequently trapped on the mysterious island/city, investigated the deep mysterious history of the island/city, came to no conclusions, found her brother after years of searching, was separated once again from her brother, gained and lost an adopted daughter (possibly to being kidnapped by the island government, which was evil), gained and lost a demon fiancée (possibly to being dragged back to hell, so there's no way to find her), gained and lost a close demon friend to dubious circumstance (did he die for his children? is he with skeppy in the gas station?), and has had an unknown amount of time to process and/or suppress all of this: Sure! :D

really thinking about setting up like a fic directory on here where you could like pick a kink and it'd show you everything i've written with that kink. Other filters too like pairing and genre (smut/angst/fluff) and that sort of thing.

I've seen others have similar pages for fic recs and I thot it might be good to have here too because sometimes I feel like the masterlist I've currently got is a little annoying to navigate if you don't know the fic names and also I'm bad at updating it lmao.

Is that something anyone would use? Are there any specific filters you'd like to see? I'd love to know what you guys think!

The great thing about being in charge of our own book design stuff is that we can, in fact, decide to go through a ridiculous amount of effort to create custom headers for every chapter.

We've gotten about two thirds of the way through Shadow Herald's headers right now. Downside; every time a chapter takes place in a new location, we have to draw that location. Upside; every time we draw a location, we can reuse it later. My gods do the shop interiors take forever.

accidentally deleted that anon ask, but to answer your concerns — a) I haven’t found any proof of your claim that GFM doesn’t operate in Palestine and Gaza, and b) I double check to ensure the links I share aren’t scams, and/or have been vetted.

IMHO, I do think multiple real people have reached out to me on my — as you put it — “small fandom blog” because Palestinians are also online in the same spaces we are. Ive also been fortunate enough to actually talk to Palestinians on a “small fandom blog” on other platforms, too that I’ve verified with my own eyes. Why is tumblr different?

i understand your heart is in the right place, but even official organizations like Doctors Without Borders/MSF — which I have donated to — have faced challenges in providing on the ground care. Let’s not forget that Israel is purposefully targeting aid workers.

I would rather run the risk that I post an ask with a scammy link that gets about like 5 notes than turn away someone’s time sensitive and extremely urgent need. if it’s a scam, i trust people clicking on the gfm link are smart enough to determine whether they want to donate or not, aka “using critical thinking skills.”

If done on mobile, you can tell from this that you mainly misjudge position with your right hand (most likely thumb!)

Based on the location of the mistakes it seems like you tend to drift down and to the right! Also! it seems like a bit of muscle memory that you have to actively fight when you have your eyes open!

Perhaps based on the locations of the mistakes you built your main muscle memory with a smaller phone, and now without eyes you default to letters being closer together with the hand you are less confident with on a now larger phone? That one is more a wild guess, though.

Sorry there's just a lot you can see based on how and where mistakes are when someone types with their eyes closed. (:

Ofc if this was done on desktop I have no clue haha. Though it's definitely much easier to type with your eyes closed on a computer instead of a phone.
